She was unable to settle anything, and her approach was chaotic. Throughout the process, Susan instructed her client to disregard court orders, stop providing financial assistance, and even lie. Here are a few points based on my experience: Do not provide her office with discovery until she provides it to you first. Do not trust everything she says--ensure all agreements are in writing and filed with the court. Listen to your attorney and avoid trying to be reasonable with Susan. Be assertive, and honestly, you don't need an attorney to go up against her. Based on my experience with Susan, I would NOT recommend hiring her for any criminal case or even Family Court matters. I continually make phone calls and send emails that go unanswered. Essentially I have a court order that can't be enforced and my hands are tied until I can get a response from the office. I WOULD NOT recommend hiring this office to help with child support issues. Lack of communication and follow through has put me significantly in debt and at a standstill. Increasingly frustrating!
