I was told the earliest available appointment was Wednesday at 3pm but that they would call if they had a cancellation and could get me in earlier. They called at 8:15 this morning and said they had an opening at 8:30am - but I was already at work in Lexington and would not have been able to get there in time - so I kept my 3pm appointment. I arrived on time and waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes or so before being called back. They took X-rays and I was sent to a room to wait on the dentist. 15 minutes later he came in and told me I needed an extraction but that he did not have time to do it today. I reiterated that that was the only reason for my appointment - and he said that they do and X-ray and consultation on the first visit. I said that (1) nothing of the sort was mentioned when I made the appointment, nor during my follow up call late yesterday to see if they had any time to squeeze me in, or during the call this morning when they called about the cancellation - and (2) that surely they did extractions for toothache emergency on first visits and they confirmed that yes, they often do - but Dr. Drake said he just didn't have the time today. He sent me on my way - with the same severe toothache that I walked in with and for which I'd scheduled an appointment for more than 24 hours before. They showed absolutely zero compassion nor understanding nor did they seem to care even a little bit.

I made my first visit to Dr. Snowden's office this week for a tooth problem. I let him know that I…read morewas a "dentophobic" patient and had only been to a dentist a few times in my life when I absolutely had to. He and Devan, his assistant went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. When it was determined by X-ray that my cracked tooth would need to be extracted, he slowly explained the process and that he would do everything possible to keep me comfortable. He took his time, giving me a small amount of lidocaine to start the numbing process, then waited to give me a second shot of it to complete the numbing. Throughout the procedure, he inquired about me having any pain, which I did not have. In fact, I suffered NO pain at all throughout the process, . I selected Dr. Snowden after reading his many reviews saying how friendly and professional he and his staff were. I am so lucky to have selected him as my dentist, and I will certainly return. We got your message this morning that you both were cancelling your appt's for today. Once you get your finances together & ready to reschedule, please call in to talk to our office manager. we cannot continue down the path of always rescheduling & cancelling your appt's. Most night guards, crowns, retainers , etc can be made without the need for traditional impression materials. The saying " a picture is worth a 1000 words" holds true when you see a leaking filling or a fractured tooth on the screen when a special intra-oral camera is used during the exam. Maybe best of all, dental injections can be avoided when cavities are diagnosed and treated early using the dental laser. Everyone in the office is knowledgeable and caring. I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful office.

They did not call and check on me at all. They left several huge pieces of teeth in my gums. After contacting them multiple times, leaving messages with staff and also voicemails, they still did not contact me. As bad as i hate to say it they WOULD NOT even consider seeing me until i called hysterical. After getting to the clinic, I was told i did know what I was talking about and they couldnt do anything to help. I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
