To make a very long story short, Tim told me specifically he would "Take care of this" as in setting up the Installment plan. I signed the paperwork and THEN, He NEVER even sent the application in which I did not discover until months later. I did see some warning letters which I brought to his attention and then due to being busy as hell unintelligently trusted him remedy the situation. I say unintelligently because he also let me know he would "take care of" sending in a payment to affirm my LLC Status. A check which he held on to for 6 months and never sent in. Well, I have learned my lesson now and will always just call the IRS myself from now on to get the story straight. All I can say is NEVER trust T&D Taxes to "take care of" anything for you. I have never seen a business be in such denial and refusing to own up about a MAJOR mistake they made and I am seriously disgusted by this.

Used Rudy for a notarization on an affidavit. First visit, he flagged that my name needed to be in…read morethe body of the document, not just on the signature line. Fair point -- I went back to the attorney who drafted it, had them add my name in the body, and confirmed the document complied with California notary law . Came back later in the day with the revised document. Rudy looked at it and said "something seems off." That was the entire explanation. No identification of what was off, no specific provision he objected to, no questions about my ID or the underlying transaction. Just refused. Took the same document to another commissioned California notary that same day. They reviewed it, verified my ID, administered the oath, and notarized it without any issue. Two visits, two trips back to my attorney for revisions he requested, and ultimately a vague refusal with no actionable feedback. A notary's job is to verify identity and witness an oath. If specific concerns exist, communicate them clearly so they can be addressed. "Something seems off" after you've already made the customer revise the document once isn't professional -- it's wasting their time.

Nonetheless, it was a very smooth process. We basically sat there, small talked, and we were finished in less than 30 minutes. No major time consuming financial questions were ask because we provided all necessary documentation. After all the information was added, we confirmed all of our information. The best part about our experience was the knowledge we gained from working with someone like Javier. We were unsure of how our responses on tax forms made a difference in our return so for Javier to make sense of that us was worth it. When we met however she stated there wasn't much she could do to help until the 2026 tables came out. We then learned from our investment advisor that she could have provided a ballpark estimate since any change in next years table would not be that significant. So I attempted to reconnect with Patricia again but after 3 separate email, and 1 phone, attempts (as before) received no response. So we will be taking our business else where which is unfortunate since weve had a long, previously positive, relationship with this family run business.
