I sent a request through their online form after business hours, and I had a response at 8 AM the next day. I met with Justin, and he was friendly and professional. I told him I had had a bad experience in the past with an accountant charging me hourly and ending up with a huge bill. He agreed to give me a set price and told me about it up front. No hidden fees. I got him my paperwork about 3 weeks before the deadline, and he had everything done within a week. He called with bad news-I owed a TON of money, but he did a great job of helping me find things that I could expense that I missed. He helped reduce what I owed by about a quarter. He helped me file for both my small businesses-real estate and photography, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend him!

Last year, after my tax situation got more complex, I reached out to Byron Glover. Not only did he help me navigate my 2017 returns, he also looked into some of my previous years' returns and found some opportunities for me to file amendments. I had my taxes done at a Walmart in south Nashville. The gal who did them was so incredibly…read moreunprofessional. I had to sit and wait while she finished texting. While she was opening the program on the computer, she was texting. During the duration of the appointment she was taking personal calls, which she answered them on speaker. She failed to inform me where my documents can be found; however, I was able to get on the site. When I went to the site, after authenticating who I am, there are no documents. She charged me over $500 with no receipt. I didn't receive any documentation, except a statement of what I owe to the IRS. When I came in, I told her it was 1099, she said she didn't really lnow how to do those. I WILL take responsibility for waiting until the last minute to get my taxes done, which is the only reason I continued with the appointment. I called JH today to tell them everything I've said here and the response was, "somebody will get back to you in 24-48 hours. Sadly, I can't clean up typos without back spacing...oh well, par for the course. One last thing, there was something that advertised $55 for eady filing. I don't know what constitutes easy filing, but nowhere was there a price breakdown of services.
