As a retired Chevron employee and a Williams resident, and having travelled all over the USA, this is by far the worst maintained Chevron station anywhere. Filthy bathrooms, paper towel dispensers at the pump empty, trash in the window water containers, unemptied trash cans are routine. Most times the store is closed and locked up. At least one pump is always "out of service." The outside landscape area is simply knee high weeds. The pavement is in severe disrepair with pot holes all over the lot. The Mark Stoneman Trust, who owns the property, should be called to account for allowing their independent contractor Chevron tenant to do business there. I have walked into the store and complained to them several times to no avail. Next I will complain directly to Chevron Corp. No wonder Love's and the new Maverick station draw so many more customers. This station should be shut down or bought back by Corporation. What a disgrace to the Chevron Corporation and to city of Williams. read more

Simply put, it was easier turning in here with our trailer than trying to cross the road and visit the Flying J...plus, I like Chevron's gasoline for our truck. The price was the same, plenty of space to negotiate our truck and trailer ensemble, and we were back on our way west. read more

This place was pretty funny. Now I know I was in a small town but this gas station definitely lived up to what you would expect to find in a movie with one gas station. It is right off of the highway, a few pumps and expectedly overpriced gas. I went in to grab a few things and there was very little to choose from. The best part was the creepy restrooms tucked in the back corner outside. They must have a problem with people who can not wait for the restroom (see picture). Next time I think I will wait until I can get to a larger town to fill up. read more

I saw this on the way to the Grand Canyon and on the way home I knew I had to stop. We saw these huge wrought iron horse sculptures that caught the eye and an antique police vehicle pulled up to a vintage gas station. Plus, there was the gift shop sign. And I had a sixth sense telling me there may be baby moccasins inside. The gas prices were on point for being in the middle of nowhere but about 50 cents higher than in Tucson. I'm not here to talk about gasoline, I'm talking about the gift shop! Pulling up closer. I saw they had a Minnetonka sign and with baby moccasins being a hot commodity in the tiny tot fashion world, I had to give it a looksee. Inside they had all the style of Minnetonkas and they buy factory direct. SCORE! The sales lady was super helpful and showed me the that the ones that velcroed in the back, which were the toughest for baby magicians to remove. Seriously, my baby can Houdini out of any shoe within a nanosecond. They even had an adorable pair of pink baby cowboy boots and a denim bib with pink handkerchief to match. If you reckon you forgot your own cowboy boots or fringe leather jacket, this Chevron has got your back. Are you lamenting over a Grand Canyon souvenir you did not buy? This is your place. They even have 5 ft. tall magnificent amethysts and stunning pieces of petrified wood that you could find at the gem show...here they price around $2,500. This is hands down the best gas station gift shop I have EVER been to! read more

Recently purchased home in Williams so I thought I would patronize this business versus large corporate operations. First, the pump was out of paper so no receipt. I went inside, used the restroom, then asked for my receipt. I noticed I was charged $ 0.10 more than the posted price. Oh, cash in small letters painted on sign. The restroom was one of the filthiest, stinkiest, gross restrooms I have ever used. Too lazy to put the roll of paper towels in the dispenser or clean the place. Also, too lazy to put a roll of paper for receipts at the pump. Nearly fell down walking over ice patch walking to the building. I would NEVER patronize this business again, even if they had $1.00 per gallon gas prices! The pumps are old, the store inside is filthy, and I believe they don't put paper in the pumps so you will hopefully go inside and buy something overpriced. read more

If I could give this station zero stars, I would. I have lived in Williams for five years and have used this station almost exclusively -- shame on me -- always using my CHEVRON credit card for my gasoline purchases and always paying my bill off every month. This business has always charged me .10 more per gallon than the posted price using my CHEVRON credit card, but if I wanted to take the time to go into the store and complain about being charged extra for using my CHEVRON card, the cashiers would reluctantly reimburse the difference to me in cash. Most times it is not worth it to engage with the clerks because of their attitude towards this reimbursement. Today I filled up my gas tank, and because I had some extra time and the difference in price would have given me an extra $1.50 in my pocket, I decided to go in and request the reimbursement, but the clerk refused to give me the difference in price, saying "we don't do that." In my opinion, this is a scam, and I will not use this station again in the future. I think it is despicable for a CHEVRON station to charge customers more than the posted cash price to use their own company credit card for the privilege of purchasing their own gasoline. I will be patronizing the Love's station across the street. read more

I've been here a few times, always have dealt with the girls at the counter. Today was a man, I asked about the discount, I accidently said local discount instead of cash discount and he was extremely rude. I asked if you could use the cash discount in conjunction with your Safeway rewards. He said he didn't understand my question. I re worded it twice, he just looked at me, like I was speaking a foreign language. Finally I said, $6.00 On pump 7. Then he refused to give me my cash discount even though I paid with cash. read more

Absolutely awful customer service plus bait and switch pricing. Advertising a price with a tiny 'cash only' sign is ridiculous in this day and age....this is a tourist trap complete with overpriced souvenirs, stale food, and a filthy snack area and store. And on top of all that they have extremely rude cashiers. I've tried several times to go here and been hugely disappointed every time. Do yourself a favor, drive 20 more feet up the road and go to Loves where you will receive the price they advertise plus a clean well-stocked store with Subway and Carl's Jr attached. The price on the sign was 10 cents higher than the price on the pump. The bathroom was disgusting and filled with human excrement. Avoid!

I got fuel at the "Chevron" in Williams, AZ on 9/27/2011. My R.V. "The Black Pearl" takes diesel. The price was competitive.

Nice people in here. David who works in the afternoon is very helpful. He helped put air in my tires one day.

Do NOT go to this Chevron to use your Safeway gas points. Price of gas on sign is cash. Gas price at pump is for credit card. Even if you pay cash they will NOT let you use your Safeway points. They want you to use your credit card so they can charge you 10-15 cents more than cash price. Effectively wasting any Safeway discount points you have earned. Save your points to use in Flagstaff. If you are a tourist reading this buy gas at Loves or at Pilot in Bellemont. read more
