Slowest gas pumps EVER...and it's 20 degrees Fahrenheit! Not cool.
    Adam P.

Take care when going to get gas there early in the a.m. It can be bitter cold in the morning, and the pumps run with the speed of a sloth. 19 degrees on a cold winter morning was likely generous for Williams, AZ. People, you need to remember - towns/cities get an average snowfall of 28 inches across the U.S. William's averages about 74 inches of snow a year! It's flippin' COLD there. You're not allowed to run your car while waiting for gas, so you basically have to freeze in your car while waiting for the gas to slowly infuse. Took me 18 minutes to fill a 22 gallon tank. That's simply NUTS. Best advice - go during the day when it's warmer.

Sloppy. No rhyme to where line starts and ends. Dumpy shelves. Folks fight over pumps. Rebel review: 3

These cashiers should get the ice maker going. No drinks incl slurpees, ice cream, and ice coffee. The machines for beverages are all broken. They were not even friendly.

Good location, nice selection of items in the store, and the price for gas is the same here as it is in the surrounding areas.

I was incredibly thankful this general store was open early and connected to the Starbucks! We woke…read moreup one morning and it was cold, rainy and windy! 40 degrees and with the wind, it felt like 22 degrees! We packed some cold weather clothes, but not a lot. I definitely wanted a beanie to help with the wind chill, and so did my daughters. Visited this store while my daughters stayed in line at Starbucks. Was able to find a beanie for each of us. There were a lot of cute items available for purchase, including some Snoopy items! Loved the self-checkout option as well. Prices are a little bit higher than you might expect. Super convenient though, if you ever find yourself in a pinch for something in this area.

I visited on 07/12 at around 1:30 PM while waiting for my Starbucks order, so I stopped in to shop…read morefor a few T-shirts. Unfortunately, my experience at checkout was extremely disappointing. The male cashier looked me up and down as I approached the register. I politely told him I didn't need a bag, and instead of responding professionally, he tossed my shirt onto the counter with an obvious attitude and walked away without saying a word. I say thank you after and did it 2x just checking if he responded not just turn back on me. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome and singled out. I can't say for certain what his intentions were, but the way I was treated left me feeling that my race may have played a role. Whether intentional or not, his behavior came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should make everyone feel welcome and respected. I hope management addresses this so other customers don't have a similar experience.

I don't hand out one-star reviews lightly. In fact, this is the first time I've felt compelled to…read more But Texaco Express earns it without much debate. We pulled in out of necessity, like most people probably do. You're near the Grand Canyon, options feel limited, and the gauge isn't exactly in a forgiving place. Then you see the price. $6.00 a gallon as of 4/23/2026. That's not just high, that's borderline absurd. We took one look, did the math, and decided to chance it. Drove a bit further down the road and filled up for about $1.50 less per gallon. Same region, completely different reality. Inside doesn't improve things. If anything, it doubles down. A single bottle of water pushing $7, cases in the $20+ range. Everything felt aggressively marked up, like they're counting on you being too tired or too stuck to care. It's not convenience pricing. It's opportunistic. I walked up with a pack of gum just to grab something small, and even that turned into an experience. The woman at the register didn't say a word. No greeting, no eye contact that felt human, just a blank stare and a monotone voice. I asked her to repeat it because I genuinely didn't hear her, and instead of saying it again, she just tapped the screen like that was the end of the conversation. That was enough for me. I told her never mind and walked out. And here's the thing. The place gives off a vibe that this isn't a one-off bad moment. It feels baked into how they operate. People coming and going, most of them probably thinking the same thing but just pushing through because they have to. You expect a little markup in a tourist-heavy area. That's normal. This crosses the line into something else entirely. Do yourself a favor. Fill up before you get here or keep driving. There are better options not that far away. Avoid this place.
