I initially found him because he offers the relatively new Sublocade shot - which is a godsend. Everyone in the office has and I think it's only fair to tell you how I know The Sublocade shot involved a lot of paperwork, involving a compounding pharmacy, pre-authorizations, and yet another form to verify information so that the manufacturer would cover the the cost of first two shots. It required a lot of signatures and faxing of documents in a timely manner due to the cold storage required of the injectable medicine. And they had to do this multiple times. On more than one occasion the insurer made them redo a form or they had to be refile some that expired after so many months. This medication has to be delivered several days before the appointment, signed for, and refrigerated. Everything had to be done just right, faxed to the right phone numbers, etc. If anyone would have dropped the ball than it's all for nothing. Dr. King and his staff came through every time! They return calls, answer texts on their messaging app and are just always looking out for your best interest. They were often thinking one step ahead of me. What is also special is that you can really talk to Dr. King - you can confide in him due to his life experience and non judgmental outlook. Like a good parent, he listens and he provided some good general guidance when needed. But he knows where to draw the line. His first responsibility is to be your physician, your confidante second - exactly as it should be. Most doctors do not demonstrate this kind of empathy. It's in a conveniently located in an office building just off the 10 freeway and parking is not an issue. I made him my primary care doctor and it is well worth the extra 10-15 minutes it takes from where I happen to live. They have genuinely contributed to some really important changes in my life and I'm very grateful to have found his practice.

I was not blessed to be a recipient of her services due to my insurance. About 12 years ago, my husband went in for a minor issue that Dr. Olelewe of course remedied. But she also noticed scaling on his hand that had been there for over 20 years. My husband saw dermatologists and other doctors for the issue coming up, with no resolve. Dr. Olelewe said, "Also, I'm going to prescribe medication for your hand". My husband thought nothing of it, because nothing ever worked with other doctors. A few days later, all the scaling was gone and his hand was smooth and soft, still to this day!!! I since then referred family members whom she's helped tremendously, where other doctors lacked knowledge or care. Now moving on to one of the most important reasons why I will ALWAYS love Dr. Olelewe. I referred my mom as well, and she was a patient of Dr. Olelewe's for years, until my mom moved out of state. Well...my mom fell very ill and was fighting for her life during the height of COVID (but not due to COVID). It was absolutely horrible, as we were not able to be at my mom's bedside. But Dr. Olelewe was there! My mom said she could feel that she was transitioning, and could hear my dad saying come on home (who had recently transitioned). But she felt Dr. Olelewe holding her hand, saying "Fight Mary, fight"! Of course, it brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. My mother heard Dr. Olelewe's powerful voice of love and compassion, and mustered the strength to keep on fighting. My mother is still here today 6 years later, because of Dr. Olelewe. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable doctor, she is one that cares. A million blessings to you for being my mother's angel in a storm.

Instead of treating him they cleaned it and took a sample to see what it was I didn't get a call back for two weeks. I took him to his pediatrician 2 days later and she gave me oral and topical antibiotics right away, with just that two day wait it spread and he had 4 more breakouts if they had gave me antibiotics the day I brought him in it could have prevented it, had I not kept him pediatrician appointment he would have gotten worse waiting two weeks for a call back.

The staff member handling my appointment was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. I had already provided a urine sample, but because it wasn't acceptable, I was told I needed to provide another one. What made me even more uncomfortable was being told that this time he would have to observe me while I did it. Throughout the appointment, the employee was wearing earphones and listening to music while speaking to me, which came across as very disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of treating me with respect, he gave me an ultimatum: either stay in the office until I could provide another urine sample or be disqualified from my job opportunity. I arrived around 11:30 a.m. and was told that if I left before providing another sample, I would lose the position, and that I could stay there until they closed at 6:00 p.m. Expecting someone to remain at a clinic for over six hours waiting to urinate is unreasonable, especially when they have other responsibilities. I had another job I needed to get to and simply could not stay all day. Rather than trying to work with me or explain my options professionally, I felt pressured, intimidated, and treated without any compassion or respect. I hope management addresses the behavior of this employee and improves the professionalism and respect shown to future patients. No one should leave a medical office feeling as uncomfortable and disrespected as I did.
