The staff member handling my appointment was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. I had already provided a urine sample, but because it wasn't acceptable, I was told I needed to provide another one. What made me even more uncomfortable was being told that this time he would have to observe me while I did it. Throughout the appointment, the employee was wearing earphones and listening to music while speaking to me, which came across as very disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of treating me with respect, he gave me an ultimatum: either stay in the office until I could provide another urine sample or be disqualified from my job opportunity. I arrived around 11:30 a.m. and was told that if I left before providing another sample, I would lose the position, and that I could stay there until they closed at 6:00 p.m. Expecting someone to remain at a clinic for over six hours waiting to urinate is unreasonable, especially when they have other responsibilities. I had another job I needed to get to and simply could not stay all day. Rather than trying to work with me or explain my options professionally, I felt pressured, intimidated, and treated without any compassion or respect. I hope management addresses the behavior of this employee and improves the professionalism and respect shown to future patients. No one should leave a medical office feeling as uncomfortable and disrespected as I did.

Wait a minute! No,…read morewait 120 minutes! I usually go to the Irvine CVS for my Flu Shot, but I could not make it down there right now so I popped in here. In Irvine, you may have a 1 or 2 person wait of 15 -20 minutes. Little did I suspect that this minute clinic is a major hangout for the entire community! I checked in, and the computer told me that I will be seen in 1.5 hours. It had a long list of patients initials before me. I kept staring at it....I refused to believe that it was going to be more than an hour and a half for a flu shot. I thought it was broken. Then I looked around and like a busy doctors office, people were waiting, kids were running up and down and screaming. So I decided that if I have that much time, I am leaving--I have other errands to do and will come back before 1.5 hours and make some use of my day. And the computer tells you that you will get a text 30 minutes before your appointment. Perfect. I return 1.4 hours hours later--no text yet. Check the screen and I it says that my wait is still 40 minutes! OMG. They are still not ready for me. No problem--I go to the car and get my laptop out and come back, and sit in the waiting area and start to get some work done. 20 minutes later, I was called in. The Nurse Practitioner was very pleasant and professional. She gave me exactly what I was waiting for: A dose of the super powerful CVS Quad, Single Shot, Preservative Free flu vaccine (You doctor will not have these good ones because they don't want to pay for it--is the reason I go to CVS. I would get my flu shot at CVS if I was you.) Anthem paid 100% past 2 years. Blue Shield paid after I pushed them 3 years ago. Before I was able to tell her I hate needles! it was over. I almost could get one everyday. It was worth the wait. Now I am ready to meet the most germ infected individuals on this planet without worry.

I went to this exact location since its close to my job. Did my physical, everything checked out fine. Then all of a sudden as the practitioner is finishing her paperwork she asks, "Have you ever had a sleep study?" I said "no" "Well you have a neck size of 17 inches and you have hbp so its required that I give you one, im only gonna give you a 3 month certification but you have to schedule a sleep study with your primary care physician" I get upset because im like why in the hell would you wait until the end of my physical to hit me with that curveball? It was bad enough the hell I had to go through just to keep my blood pressure under 140/90 then she hits me with that bull****? As im asking questions, she kept cutting me off before I could finish any of them. She knows that was some bull****. And im guessing they been doing this to plenty of commercial drivers whom im sure had the same questions. She kept blaming it on new DOT rules but talking to my other co workers, other concentra locations wasn't doing this. I would have loved to have known about the damn sleep test beforehand, that way when I came to renew my medical card I could have had everything already present so that way I could keep my year certification without running the risk of not being able to drive. If you dont have a DOT medical card, it is illegal for you to drive a commercial vehicle. Remember I only got a 3 month certification and it took 3 months to get an appointment with kaiser for a sleep study. I took the sleep study and found out I had mild apnea but they still gave me the cpap machine. I also come to find out at the same time that I had to sleep with the cpap machine for at least 21 out of 30 days in order to renew. By the time all that would be done, my medical card would been expired and I wouldn't have been able to work. The shit was such an inconvenience and stressful situation that I ended up going out on disability until I was able to gather enough cpap data to renew my medical card. All this happened thanks to this location. If you have a commercial license, stay away from here. A few of my co workers gave me a location where ill have to pay out of pocket but I won't have to deal with this inconvenience. This was a very unprofessional experience, won't be dealing with them again. With the way that was done, I'm wondering if theyre in cahoots with any of these medical companies that sell these cpap machines?

This was incredibly frustrating and upsetting because insurance coverage was the very first question I asked before coming in. My sick toddler and I lost valuable time when he needed to be seen as quickly as possible. It would have taken only a few minutes to verify the insurance before requiring me to complete extensive paperwork. Perhaps the doctor provides excellent care, but the staff needs better training on how to handle urgent situations involving young, sick children. There was no sense of urgency, compassion, or respect for our time.
