I did my M.B.A here, and it took me exactly 2 years. Most of the classes were to be taken online. I…read moreprefer in-person so I took at least one of those every semester. The professors were nice, but hardly any made me think very hard. Not sure if that's because I came from the school of engineering before, I came from a different school or what. The tuition is very high here. The reason I came is because I got a grant from General Motors to come here while working there, and LTU gave me another grant because I worked at General Motors. So I only had to pay for 1/3rd at the end of the day. I would recommend sticking to the school of engineering if you're here, for the reputation at least. The gym could use an upgrading for sure. The equipment was seldom and aged. The graduation ceremony was pretty nice, they had a comedian speak who was pretty funny. The ID cards kind of looked cheap, but the parking was free. Overall it was pretty good for an MBA.

I am an Alumni of Siena Heights University and proud of it. I received my undergraduate degree from here and I am now completing my Master Degree here as well. The main campus is 55-acres with 14 buildings in Adrian, Michigan, and there are satellite campuses in Southfield, Benton Harbor, Monroe, Battle Creek, Lansing, Jackson, Ann Arbor, and Port Huron. I finished my undergraduate degree while raising two kids. I also thought that if I could be a good example to them by doing homework and studying, they could learn something from my example(I think they have). The institution was founded in 1919 as St. Joseph's College for Women by the Adrian Dominican Sisters. In 1939, it was renamed as Siena Heights College after Saint Catherine of Siena. In 1969, became coeducational. In 1998, it was renamed as Siena Heights University. I went through twelve years of parochial school, why not finish my degree the same way. The University has 45 academic programs of study between the undergraduate, graduate and professional studies colleges. The undergraduate college is further divided into five academic divisions: Business & Management, Computing, Mathematics & the Sciences, Humanities, Social & Behavioral Science, Visual & Performing Arts & Teacher Education. The student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1. This is a great university for small classes and close association with the professors.

The English Department is dreadfully inadequate. I just received my degree in English in December…read moreof 2025 and my experience with the professors and Chair of the English department could only be described as dreadful. A full third of my professors had no business teaching reading to second graders let alone being a professor at the University level. Disorganized, poor to non-existent teaching skills, gross ignorance and a propensity to teach Gender, Sexuality, and women's studies class instead of an English class. Furthermore, I was told by the Chair of the English Department, Jaime Goodrich, that it was acceptable for a Wayne State professor to ascribe to flat earth ideology as long as they weren't teaching science. Overall, the quality of the English Department is subpar and a disgrace to the entire concept of education.

Total scam! Waste of time and money!…read more Instructors don't care they are only there to get a paycheck! Class is suppose to be 4 hours long BUT, they give 2 20 minute breaks, why? One instructor is constantly on his phone during class! This program could take 6 months tops, if they offered it 5 days a week, maybe one break, and quit fooling around. Labs are a joke! They don't have enough equipment for everyone to work on so you have to wait for others to finish the lab and then you get to the machine to do your lab Do not waste your money or time, find a company that will train you
