It had been many years since it was last cleaned. All non brick areas were dirty and dingy. Green Goose crew (two guys) showed up right on time and went straight to work. The difference is amazing. All areas are once again bright white and shiny. Gutters look like when they were brand new. Also what I consider reasonable priced. Both guys were friendly. What we opted not to do was deck repair and staining - although I like the idea and wasn't opposed to the price I am skeptical our deck can be saved without more extensive work. The team showed up around 11:30a and didn't leave until almost 5:00p. I'm so happy we got the shutters taken down. Our newer windows are the feature now, and it's good we cleaned the siding because we have some discoloration from having the shutters. Eventually the sun and tree dust will even things out! Besides the house looking cleaner in general, the patio is crazy different. We went from a browned patio to a gray, what it would've looked like newly poured. It makes a couple of cracks more noticeable, but that just is another example of how clean it is now. Easy to work with from quote to payment for a job well done.

I was drawn to Darin above & beyond any of his competitors because it was easy to establish rapport with him and he was straightforward & down-to-earth. It was apparent he takes great pride in his work and I felt very comfortable selecting him for the job. Unfortunately, his bid came in higher than a few others, so I wasn't sure (as I'm on a budget for house repairs), but he was willing to negotiate with me so that sealed the deal. We had some weather issues because it seemed to rain every single day but he was able to prioritize my job & make it fit in when I explained my tight time schedule. I was disappointed at extensive staining that remained in certain areas of my siding--and Darin explained that these large areas are unique to my house because they have essentially been "shielded" by the large carport that wraps around my house. As such, a large amount of "pollution" has accumulated on the siding and, once it's "set", it's VERY difficult to remove--and regular pressure & power washing will NOT do the trick. I was super bummed about this, and Darin willingly came back the following day and brought a special acidic cleaner & brushed all those stubborn areas that wouldn't come off from the regular washing. I had NO idea that pollution covered up became essentially semi-permanent staining on my house, so I was THRILLED with the finished product!! Here are the before & after pics. Importantly, Darin also gave me some tips for how to prevent the pollution from getting a foothold going forward so we hopefully won't have this problem again in the future.
