Just pulled the plug on me and left me without a job, even though I said I didn't want to end this assignment because of my back. Real helpful place. Me thinks not. Also, don't call them if you're looking for a job that you can get pay increases after a while, or any benefits at all. They have none of that. Just a weekly paycheck, that's it.

I myself am also an owner of my own Cleaning company. Coincidentally I met Mariah & Sidnie today at a two day accredited Cleaning course in Vancouver, Washington. The fact that these to young adults are willing to spend at least a couple thousand dollars to fly across country, get a rental car, hotel, and pay for this class so they can be better technicians and better prepared professionals in our industry speaks volumes to me. These are not two people who just decided to start a cleaning business because they thought it would be easy, they started a cleaning company because they are passionate and they want to do it right. I've been in this industry for over six years and I've seen a lot of hacks and a lot of start ups fail. I really believe Mint Cleaning is going to do very well. If you're considering a new cleaning company or you're looking to replace the current service you have now, give Mariah & Sidnie a call, you'll be impressed too.

I figured since there was an extra 30 min charge for the deep cleaning my bill would come to a little less then the $178 yet to my surprise she charged my credit card $289.50 for 1 bathroom and the kitchen. that is totally ridiculous. to top it all off she was going to leave my bathroom without cleaning the shower/tub, who does that??? big rip off I did try contacting her and asking to be refunded the extra $111.50 she added to my bill and she refused and just told me she'd no longer be doing business with me. Dang right she won't be doing business with me, she is a thief. do not waste your time and certainly save your money GO ELSEWHERE

Here's my story and how I came to know them as my angels... You know when you look both ways to cross the street, then get hit by an airplane? That's what my life was like when I made the decision to hire Nancy and her team. I was about to move into my new apartment in Grand Rapids and had all my ducks lined in a row. But alas,... life happened... I stopped by the new apartment one day before move in and it was not cleaned after a three year stay from previous tenants. I decided to clean it myself over night. Two hours in I dropped to my knees in tears because I was disgusted and exhausted and angry at how filthy it actually was. I couldn't do this alone. This apartment needed a deep clean and more than my two hands. The next day, I made arrangements to stay in a hotel and called Nancy. She graciously fit me into her schedule at the end of the week (HINT: you need to book her weeks in advance. Her compassion for people(me) and my situation took over and she moved her schedule around to fit me in. #angel) The day comes and she was also surprised at how bad this apartment was. It took her team of three a total of 4 hours to clean my average sized one bedroom apartment. That's 12 HOURS of cleaning!!! She even cut me a small discount despite her having to reschedule other clients and because she felt so bad about my situation. She said that that apartment was her DIRTIEST JOB EVER. Needless to say,... my apartment is now impeccable. It is SO clean. The service and kindness I received from Nancy is unforgettable. She prioritized me. She made me feel like her family, not like a client. She truly cared for my well-being. And as I previously said, the apartment now has white doors and trim again, shiney clean floors, grime- free bathroom and kitchen. I could go on... I am forever grateful for Nancy and I WILL be a returning customer. ***attached are before and afters and some more afters!!!***

I applied for a mid-level REMOTE position that was being staffed through Otterbase. Nicole Roeske…read morewas the recruiter who contacted me. When we first spoke on the phone, she made it very clear that the company she was staffing for wanted to move very quickly in the hiring process. She wanted to setup an zoom meeting that day which I was unable to do since I was at work but rearranged my schedule to do the zoom meeting the next morning. I misunderstood this meeting to be an interview. It was not. Nicole told me the meeting was to "make sure I had adequate internet access and that I looked presentable." Why this is a part of the vetting process, I have no idea. Anyway, the call concluded with her saying I'd be a great fit and she would submit me for an interview to company, and asked me availability over the next couple of days because again, the company wanted to move quick in the hiring process. Great! 4 days pass and I hear nothing from Nicole so I sent her an email asking for an update. She replied saying the hiring manager was on vacation and they were just getting caught up. Completely contradicting what she emphasized earlier about how fast this process was going to happen. She told me she would keep me updated. Okay. The next I received a generic email from Otterbase saying I was no longer being considered for the position. I sent Nicole an email asking for some feedback as to why I was no longer being considered. She didn't reply to my email but rather sent me a text message, which I found odd. She said the company decided to go in a different direction. I asked her if she could be more specific and she didn't respond. The information Nicole provided to me throughout the process was misleading and incorrect. In addition to that, her communication was sub-par to say the least. I had to continuously reach out to her to find out what was going on. If you choose to use Otterbase to staff your company or find you employment, don't expect much help.
