Very disappointing experience with Williford. They took my deposit for a new roof and did not do the work for months. I texted, phoned, emailed, etc NUMEROUS times. Communication is terrible until they want to be paid, then they over communicate. I would definitley never use them again and suggest you look elsewhere. Do NOT use these people ..... In April 2022 we contacted them for an estimate to build an addition to our house. It was completed in July 2023. My wife had to go to the County Permit Office to complete the permit after numerous conversations with Mindy. The office waited 4 months just for a plat map of our property. Mindy was too busy to ask what the " holdup" was ..... Then the final bill comes in ....$ 12,000 over the estimate. the concrete work was quoted at $7000.... it came in at $17,000???? How can any competent company miss a quote by more than 100% ?????? Just stay away from them. read more

We hired Williford for a new roof after getting quotes from multiple other companies, researching reviews and getting input from friends/neighbors. They were SO professional and did a beautiful job. The project manager came everyday to check on the crew and took extra care to ensure the crew was extra careful to not damage my landscaping. I have a LOT of landscaping all around my house and not a single leaf was damaged during the installation! They were so great about cleaning up at the end of each day too! After 14 years we discovered that the original roof that our house was built with had some issues. It was never installed correctly around the dormers. The flashing wasn't done correctly We had severe leakage coming through our dormer area into our dining area around the window.. So instead of having just a Band-Aid to fix it for the next 3-4 years we decided to put on a new roof. We did three estimates. They were not the lowest but were the median between the two other estimates. Ee felt like they would be there for us in the future if there were any issues and that is why we chose to go with them.. Daniel Sinclair and David were in constant contact with us daily. As a company went beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied and happy with the end result. I will say that we are very extremely pleased and very satisfied as a customer and will recommend them to anybody that asks us about our roof. I would not give them ANY stars, if that was a choice! In 2009, Williford Roofing replaced our roof for us. At the time, we were satisfied. Fast forward to last year, October 2021. My husband had just been diagnosed with cancer in August. During a heavy 24 hours of rain, our roof started leaking. So my husband calls Williford and they send someone out to assess the roof. At this point, my husband was still well enough to be the one handling the leak and dealings with Williford Roofing. However, in the middle of October, we found out his cancer had spread aggressively and my husband went into home hospice. A few weeks into November I asked him about when Williford was supposed to do our roof repairs. He didn't know, so I called. They had sent an estimate/contract and apparently it just needed a signature and for us to return it, so I did that. They NEVER called to schedule the repair time. My husband died December 7. A week later my Dad called them to ask about the repair and they told him they would call us back. They NEVER called back. NO repair has even been scheduled, much less done. And on January 13, 2022 I received a PAST DUE bill for roof repairs that HAD NOT BEEN done. I called to ask someone about the bill and the receptionist said she would have a project manager call back. NEVER CALLED BACK! I called the next day and the receptionist transferred me to the office manager, who didn't pick up, so I left a detailed message with my name and phone number. NO RETURN CALL AGAIN!! So on January 20, I again called, and left a message. again, NO CALL BACK. Mind you, I've got this "past due bill", in my LATE HUSBAND's name, and NO ONE is returning my call. My last attempt to contact someone, anyone, to get some help was this week, January 23. Again, I had to leave a message on voicemail and again, I haven't received a call back. This is the FIFTH time I've tried to contact someone. I have a past due bill, for work that was NEVER DONE. And I've also, since then, had another roofer look at my roof and he told me the ORIGINAL roof that Williford Roofing installed was done improperly and THAT is what has caused the leaks to begin with. And I have the pictures of my roof documenting it. This company's customer service is disgraceful. And they clearly do not want or need my business. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They came to fix an issue that happened when the previous owner of the house got the roof done. Although it was hard to get them to commit to a day/time, they finally came out, fixed the issue and did a very nice job. Happy that they were willing to stand by their work. read more

They did well on my roof 3 years ago but other construction work, I would not recommend them for. I had a rep come out to give a quote to replace a bathroom sliding glass window. He said they could only replace with a single pane window. He did not measure the window either. Then, after giving me a ball park figure of 600 to 800, they sent me a quote of $1150. Came pretty quickly, but didn't finish job. Asked son(who was doing the job) why the garage roof wasn't totally cleared. He said he couldn't do it right then because he didn't have the equipment with him. He said he would talk to his father about it. Also, he asked if they were going to replace the moldy wall they removed. I told him to call my son. No phone calls were ever received. They blew me off and now are threatening to send me to collection. read more

Would not recommend. Provided estimate for repairs to roof. I accepted their estimate then had to constantly reach out to them to see when they could start. One day a crew shows up unannounced ready to work. No one on the crew could speak English when I questioned the drip edge they installed was not straight Roofing felt listed on estimate was not installed and they charged me extra for items they knew they had to repair. When I asked for them to correct their invoice they became very hostile and unprofessional. Very dishonest company. Stay away! read more

We were recommended to them from a good friend and so we put in a request for a full roof replacement on our 2 story home. They got back to us very quickly and provided us with the information we needed to make a decision on what to do. They were able to give us a very affordable estimate and a work schedule that fit into both of our schedules. They arrived on time and got the work done quickly but accurately. One star? More than they deserve. Horrible, totally atrocious customer service. Sent two quotes - fifteen hundred dollar difference. Asked for explanation and they started working. Building inspector failed there work three times but they wanted me to pay while they figured out what was wrong. Stay away. read more

I cannot recommend Williford for roof repair. Initially they took weeks to get back to us about performing the work they quoted. After settling on a date, they delayed showing up on three separate occasions. The third time pushed the work until AFTER Hurricane Matthew, which needless to say was not ideal given our leaky roof. To their credit, they were here two days after the hurricane passed, only to charge us $350 to put some caulk around our leaky dormers. As I write this our dormers are leaking in the very same spots they claimed to have fixed. They also noticed our chimney needed repaired and said they would send a quote shortly thereafter. We never received the quote and no calls or emails were returned. read more

I paid Williford Roofing $3,000 to fix a leak in my roof over a year ago. As of today, the roof is still leaking into my living room. They have been out 5-6 times over the past year to attempt to fix the problem unsuccessfully. I have had to replace my drywall ceiling 5-6 times (after any heavy rain event). They have refused to return to my home, will not speak with me directly and have referred me to their lawyer. I am going to have to sue Williford Roofing over a simple leak. The customer service is terrible and they have shirked responsibility for their repairs although they advertise a 15 year guarantee on all roofing work. Read the BBB and Facebook reviews before using Williford. read more

WARNING! After receiving a contractor recommendation, I contacted Williford roofing, received a quote and paid a deposit. The deposit check was cashed the next day, but a week later I still had not heard from Williford to schedule the job. I called the office, they said Daniel Sinclair should have contacted me. When Mr. Sinclair finally called me he blamed the Williford Office for not notifying him. I was concerned, discussed my hesitation and Mr. Sinclair promised me his best crew would start the following week, 8:00 AM. The crew didn't show and I called Mr. Sinclair to understand why not. He indicated the crew was not allowed inside the gate, but he would have the problem remedied by the next day. Day 2, same story, no crew on site. but a different excuse. I did receive a refund check 5 days after Mr. Sinclair promised the check would be delivered. Nothing Williford or Mr. Sinclair said was truthful, sadly this review cannot characterize the work that would have been completed because Williford couldn't begin the job. read more

I have used Williford for a new roof on an old house. I had called 6 different companies. They were by far the most professional and gave me a quote right away and did a great job! I used them for repairs before I moved into my new house and they responded right away and did about $2500 worth of repairs. When I needed another repair to the roof, I called them. We had a little communication issue and I felt that I had made a mistake putting my trust in them (as like most non-roofers, I know nothing about roof repairs), but then James explained what the problem was to me in a way that I could understand and made sense. My trust is restored and I will fully recommend them to others needing a new roof or repairs. I know there are a lot of roofers to choose from, but I definitely recommend this company! read more

One star is too generous. I needed a professional to come out and evaluate the cause of why water was coming into my living room. Williford came and within 5 minutes (no water tests, no getting on the roof) diagnosed the problem as bad flashing around the chimney at a cost of $850. They performed the work (very messy flashing job). The next rain, water was still coming in the house. Williford came back and now said it wasn't the flashing but one side of the roof needed new shingles, cost $700. Work was performed and water was still coming in the house. They came back and now said it wasn't a problem with the roof but rather the chimney. Do NOT use Williford. Now dealing with them in small claims court. Williford does not respond and customer service is the least of their concern. read more

Called Tuesday to ask someone to check our roof for leak. I was told someone would call me as soon as possible. Never heard a word after giving them email and phone numbers. Called Friday. Spoke with someone else. They asked for the same information - told me "the office is very busy right now". I have called 5 times since Tuesday and no one has returned my calls. The advertisements on radio and TV that rave about how professional are not what I have experienced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
