This company has been pulling unauthorized charges out of my account for 7 months! I called them very calmly and tried to resolve the problem.. they told me the dumpster was still on the property! It had been picked up 7 months prior! It would be pretty difficult to hide a dumpster! After the phone call they tell the they would be immediately putting the funds back and I would get a call back the next day, I call them again and they say it's got to go through a approval process but there was no one who I could speak with, I got another, we will call you back! Home trash pick up - Ever since the family sold this business it has gone from 5 star to 1. Drivers no longer seem to care about doing a decent job, cans are seldom completely emptied, almost never left on their wheels and generally there is trash left in the street that needs to be picked up. Twice in the last year the driver squeezed his load on our street leaving a disgusting smelly wet spot in front of every house on the block which didn't wash away for a couple months. These things never occurred before Willi Waste became a Casella company. Drivers used to be the absolute best, and office people were super nice. How are you going to come unannounced and remove a dumpster from my yard that we were not finished with ON the same day you started refusing to take my small garbage... then this morning at 7 am you sent men to come to actually remove my bin!!! The poor quality of this company can't even be given a one star. They are NEVER on time. They don't always pick up trash as scheduled. When you call to report they say it's not our fault, they won't reimburse for trash never picked up. My service went 3 weeks of "missed pick up" I LEFT IT ON THE CURB. They argued with me about pictures, which I reported I have pictures as well. My trash hasn't moved in almost a month. They are EXTREMELY unprofessional, kept arguing and that there's nothing they can do about it. They range from 1-2 hours off schedule. Never on time and they keep increasing the rates of trash service costs without improving quality of customer satisfaction or giving the slightest care to being a disservice to their customers. Customer service is not good. I kept receiving emails saying my card was going to expire and to either call them (no number in the email) or the change it online (no instructions). After tracking down the number, I left a message with my new billing information and never received a call back. The actual service has never been an issue, just the customer service part. read more

Where do I even begin. I set up an account with them 3 years ago and realized 6 months in that it was a big mistake. I had spent more money taking my own trash to the local dump after I saw the trash truck drive right by my house for weeks on end. I called and asked them if I had a past due balance and how much I owed. The lady told me I was paid up to date. Then my next question was "then why arent you picking up my trash?" Lady claimed it was a miscommunication and I decided to let it go. After 2 more years of the company deciding to gladly take my money but only pick up my trash when it was convenient i made the choice to cancel. When I canceled my service, they already went another 3 WEEKS with not taking my trash and taking my money. Customer service said in an email they will be emptying my can before it is taken away. That never happened. Now I have an email saying we didnt do that and sucks to be you, make sure the can is empty before we get it or we will charge you. Dont WASTE your money with these people. Go to CWPM. Also, this company can try to remove this review but I'll be posting it everywhere so good luck. P.s. When I started with this TRASH company the bill was paying $78. We've been customers for too long. I was led to believe we had no choice but to go with them. Now I know differently and just cut the cord, effective end of September which cannot come soon enough. So many times our cans go untouched, the prices have done nothing more than climb. Shame that when we lived elsewhere there wasn't a monopoly and simply put this is what it is. Luckily I noted a neighboring town offers out of towners to buy a yearly pass that saves me a TON of money and a lot of irritation. Good luck to those who continue with them. Have never had good service. Three times requested contract for weekly curbside pickup, and three weeks in a row they were a no-show. Rented dumpsters multiple times and never arrived on time, and only offered to extend the time I could keep it, rather than offering a partial refund for the shortened time I actually had to use it. Sadly, there are so few options around. read more

Hit my car during garbage collection, then drove off to leave the scene skipping my neighbor's garbage collection. Filed a police report. The company hasn't even been remotely empathetic, apologetic, or helpful in rectifying the situation. This company is disgusting and apparently run by the most unorganized and petty people now. DO NOT ORDER DUMPSTERS FROM HERE- they will KILL your on the cost after they add on all the "extra" charges. Also after paying for my 3 months I was greeted with them aggressively coming to get a large dumpster I had ordered to clean out my house and although we were very much so still using it- the company came and took it without letting us know- leaving the garbage all around the sides, PLUS on the same day they decided to leave my full town garbage & recycling full at the end of my driveway. Then today I wake up to two men from the company physically removing my garbage can!!! This is insane- we have paid faithfully for years and now I have to try to figure out how to get to the dump with my 3 year. You're a joke. read more

We've used this residential trash service for about 3 years. Their customer service is crappy. They raise rates without notifying you, frequently don't pick up your trash as scheduled, and have some pretty shady billing practices. We've moved and will not be using them at our new home. Absolutely horrible commercial service. We frequently have garbage blowing around the yard because they left the cover open and pinned into the ground so it could not be shut. I called numerous ties and asked them to make sure it is left closed when they empty. I recently spent 3 weeks trying to reach Victoria (commercial department) with no response before escalating to the owner. I plan on cancelling my service with them and would advise you not to even start it. read more

I have been a willimantic waste customer for years after Pratt Trucking gave up our neighborhood accounts to their control. Yes, they are horrible but have found if you call the office and are super nice they usually comply with administrative issues. This last year I have really been disappointed because the trash pick up is horrendous. Our driver picks and chooses what he wants to take. If something is loose he actually throws the item on our front lawn. I have witnessed it! Thank god I haven't run over any small bits with the lawn mower. This last week we had a few extra large cardboard boxes outside of the recycle bin and the lazy bastard left them to blow all over the lawn because he didn't want to get out of the truck to pick up. I'm actually scared to complain only thinking if I do the man will retaliate with worse service. I wish we could go with another company but, very little available here. We hauled our trash bin out in a snowstorm only to find the next morning it had been tipped over and the street had already been emptied. After picking up the stray items, I called Willi Waste to see if there was any way they could send another truck by as our bin was full and we had missed last week too. We had been away so suspended our service. On the day it was to resume they collected trash on the entire street but missed us. I called and less than 10 minutes later our trash was collected. Have always had awesome service from this company read more
