Avoid at all costs. I hired Mr. Willis over SEVEN years ago to handle the probate of my father's will. I paid $5,000 up front and was assured the process would be handled professionally and in a timely manner. Since then, I've received no meaningful updates, no completed work, and no indication that anything has been done on my case. Despite repeated attempts to get answers, I've been met with silence or vague excuses. Seven years is beyond unacceptable for what should have been a straightforward probate case. It has been a while, but was attempting to get documents formulated for my mom whom was in assisted living, the documents had a couple of errors in terminology that needed correction. On 11/10/2017 I received a citation of 49 in a 40. No defensive driving course is allowed since I have a CDL. Took to Mr. Willis on 11/17/2017. He never spoke to me and never answered my emails. Citation resolved on 10/2/2018 and was told by the para legal that all had been taken care of. Upon renewal of insurance, the premium increased by $1000. Come to find out a guilty plea was entered by Mr. Willis and this was the cause of the citation on my record. I left numerous phone calls to Mr. Willis and still no contact. Do not hire this lawyer. Paid $250 to him and $150 dollars to the court. I could have went thru the drive thru at Pasadena, Texas and done this for $185. read more

After years of using Mr. Willis as our family lawyer for probating wills or other minor legal issues, we decided to hire him to 'represent' us during a very bitter divorce and settlement. What a mistake!! Mr. Willis made absolutely very little effort to advocate for me as his client. After providing him with many pages of evidence of wrongdoing by my ex spouse he never even mentioned these things during our mediation process. I really needed and expected a lawyer who could effectively communicate my needs and wants while navigating me through the legal system. Mr. R. T. Didn't feel he was aggressive with my case. Had to call numerous times, leave messages to get updates and never was able to speak with him personally. Very disappointed with the entire experience at his law firm. ALSO he did not properly notify everyone in court and court had reschedule for lack of notification AND CHARGED ME FOR THAT.
