The prices are a little high for me (they sometimes come with more the 3 records) but the selection is amazing. This is a place I will be stopping in once a month for new vinyls.

He ignored us and the other fellow in the store so he could play cards on his computer. As for the store, the books are overpriced, and the shop is unorganized--I saw John Sandford paperbacks shelved in 3 different places. To sum it up, miserable customer service, inflated prices, and an unorganized store. We won't be back, we'll head to the bookstore across the street and up a block where the staff is very nice, the books are organized, and the prices are reasonable--great prices even, on the clearance books by the door.

We spent one of our days casually strolling the downtown part of Mendocino, and searched for businesses we just had to check out. Of course, this means finding a good bookshop. And, this one did not disappoint! Such a fantastic selection of diverse books. Such fun gift ideas and home decor knick knacks and merch stuff, too. We are so loaded up on books (think stacks on stacks on stacks), but we wanted to support this business, so we bought a big candle and some fun stickers. I highly recommend Gallery Bookshop, and I'll definitely plan to return next time we're in the area.

I love browsing bookstores. I will never read all the books, but I love seeing new titles and…read moreclassics alike. This one was fun to browse because there were different sections. The section in the back with the artsy stuff was most fun for me. They have stickers, journals, greeting cards, "how to" books, etc. Come while they're open! Parking is free on the street.
