This was done in an offhand manner (i.e., not expecting a referral fee). I am impressed by Dr. Atwood's competence as well as his staff's competence. I have been impressed by everyone. I have worked the closest with Dr. Atwood, Denise, Natalie, and Madison. I am a medical doctor and work with dentists who hand off patients to me after surgeries. Thus, I feel I have some basis to judge the competence of dentists. I often talk shop with Dr. Atwood and feel like his explanations sound scientifically plausible. His hygienists are well-trained. I am under the impression his billing specialist has decades of experienced. I have never caught an error in billing. Today, I went in for a procedure. I was fit in quickly. The office volunteered to me I qualified for a warranty on a product, despite my openly admitting fault breaking it. I was fit inn quickly for a free service, despite the office's not making any money. Disclosure: I was a customer, and I have no known conflicts of interest. Mere hours before my appointment, the office called to reschedule my appointment, for another month out. This happened a 2nd time and my appointment was postponed for yet another month. My appointment was supposed to be tomorrow. The office called 2 days ago and left a voice mail. They canceled my appointment because they're not accepting any more new patients. It takes my husband several tries to get into his appointments. They keep calling and rescheduling. If you can avoid going to this practice, I'd highly suggest it. You'll get better care and a more professional staff elsewhere.
