When placing the pallet expander my son was anxious due to the whole new experience. The team at Adventure were patient with him and took the time to give him transitions, talk with him about his interests, explain everything they were going to do. There were multiple appointments to get the lower lingual arch placed. Each appointment the team member would explain what was going to happen and were patient when he was struggling. Dr. Mooso's office is the antithesis of anything scary or intimidating. Not only is the design of their office space & waiting area clean and welcoming, but their office staff is great as well. The building has a new/modern feel but still gives a comforting vibe. They've got comfortable couches and chairs, lots of magazines to choose from while you wait & they've even got a tot playroom for little siblings who might otherwise be a distraction while any procedures are taking place. When we first made the appointment, Dr. Mooso called us personally to walk through the process and to answer any questions we might have. Having a Dr. who is approachable and accessible is a huge plus for us. I can't say that I'm overly thrilled that one of our boys has to have braces, but I am thankful that we discovered Dr. Mooso.

They wanted to do a deep cleaning, I asked if it was covered and they said yes. I then got a bill for $700 a month later. I called my insurance and they said I could only get deep cleaning every 2 years and that it would be covered in 2 months . They told me I was responsible for the bill because I'm supposed to ask for the dentist to pre authorize everything. I told them that the dentist office said they did, but apparently they didn't because my husband and I are stuck with an unnecessary bill. They will be losing a lot of new business because my friends and family were going to come here since we all just moved to the area. We canceled future appointments and will be looking elsewhere. They seem to just want the money. When I told the office staff my concern and how it should have been covered and would have been covered if they waited 2 months for the procedure. They offered a payment plan as a solution to their negligence. Poor customer service.

When I had implant failures (likely due to my own medical issues, not anything they did wrong), Dr. Barney made himself available right away.
