The directors are always developing new programs and bringing in the latest activities for campers of all ages. One of the newest additions to the camp is the climbing wall and zip line. My kids could not get enough of them. My kids are also huge fans of animals and the fact that Deerkill has a pony, and a couple of friendly alpacas is a great plus. Overall, I would recommend Deerkill to anyone that would like to provide their kids with the opportunity to have summers they will never forget making life long friends along the way. We go up this time... no horses, new fence, one barn is missing and all I see are sheep. What the frig Ricky?! So I search for other farms and find Lucky C Stables. We randomly drive to this place and just ask out the window if we could feed some horses... to our surprise we were met with smiling faces and even given a tour of the barns!! It was so enjoyable and we met, pet and fed so many cool horse buddies, that I would love to come back and book a trail ride or lesson next time I am around. I was told I had to join in order to reserve the court. The courts were horrible and there was a clinic for young children going on so the noise was outrageous. It was a painful experience to play there. The desk was too busy on my way out and I forgot to end my membership. I had it on automatic pay. I called eventually and was told I had to write and email in order to cancel. I did so, and now I receive another monthly charge. I know I was stupid in signing up in the first place. Just know that this is not a place to play tennis and that there is a hard sales pitch to join.

From the very beginning, the staff at Prime Time made that transition so much easier for me. They showed such genuine kindness and patience with both me and my baby. As a new mom, I had a lot of worries--especially when she was having trouble eating at first. Instead of brushing off my concerns, they were incredibly attentive and reassuring. They kept a close eye on her, communicated with me throughout the day, and worked with me to make sure she was comfortable and getting what she needed. Their level of care and understanding meant the world to me during a time when I was already feeling emotional about being away from her. Knowing that she was with people who were nurturing, patient, and truly cared about her well-being gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. They created a warm, supportive environment not just for the babies, but for the parents too. I'm so grateful for the love and attention they gave my daughter during such an important stage of her life. Yes,…read moreRocking Horse Ranch is more expensive but there is an endless amount of activities for the kids to do. We came on the coldest weekend of the year but my kids had a blast skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, pony rides, arcade, game room, playing laser tag, swimming in the pool, the outdoor hot tub, and the nightly shows. Food is included in the price and it is buffet style for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not but you are more than welcome to order more and take things to go. There's snacks available between lunch and dinner but there's also hot chocolate/coffee available all day long with some pastries. The only downside were the rooms. They are connected so if you have loud neighbors, you won't be getting good sleep. Overall, my kids loved the place and want to go back soon. I guess we'll have to wait for another Black Friday deal.

It was so fun to get to ride horses through the beautiful wintry woods. The ranch staff were incredibly knowledgeable and clearly cared for the horses with pride. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was kid friendly, but also fresh with lots of offerings for health and adult pallets. It was nice to have everything included and not worry about bringing a wallet or thinking about how much you're spending every day (aside from arcade and alcoholic beverages). It was also laid out really well and felt very safe so our 12-year-old could adventure out on her own and we felt completely comfortable with that. We would love to make it back!
