The certificate came with a 3-year expiration date, which was great. Even better news, when I initially spoke with Revive (I actually had a second certificate so I was booking an appointment) I was told that, despite the date on the certificate, mine was actually valid for 6 years. Awesome, right? Well, after looking at the calendar and deciding to finally treat myself to a "Me Day", I called to book the appointment, only to be told that my certificate had expired after *five* years (two months prior). I asked whether they were making any sort of exceptions due to COVID (which was the entire reason that I had waited so long to use mine in the first place), and her response was "no", since their location had "only been shut down for one month during the pandemic". Just as I finally felt comfortable venturing out for something that was relaxing/"just for me", after working in healthcare during the pandemic, I learned that they were offering no grace, nor understanding, for the various situations people might recently have been in. A very frustrating situation for a person who has supported local businesses as much as possible throughout the past two years, only to feel that Revive did not feel the same loyalty towards its customers.
