Someone cheated in this store, taking all the Pokémon packs that had good cards and selling only…read morethe ones with garbage cards for $5.50 each. We bought 5 packs of Pokémon Astral Radiance in late May 2022. There were zero good cards. With a 50% hit rate, going 0 for 5 is exceedingly rare. Ok fine. We got unlucky. But then we have a friend who bought 7 packs and nothing. And another friend who bought 10 packs (5 packs twice). Nothing nothing nothing. Now that is mathematically impossible. We go online and see that if you have a gram scale, you can weigh each Pokémon pack. The packs with good cards are 22.5-22.8 grams. The ones without are 22.1-22.4 grams. Impossible to tell the difference without a gram scale. I went to the store and explained. The owner, a 60-something Korean man - just says "no no. No no". I explain again and he says "sometimes Pokémon cards are fake". I asked if he was selling fake cards? "No no. No no". I know I am not the only one to complain about this. I gave the owner a chance to respond before posting this bad review. He denied everything and was dismissive. Check my prior reviews. I have never given such a bad review to anyone. Never. I will not be patronizing this store for anything anymore.

Fluence is the new pop-up (manager[?] hopes for permanency) on Harwood Court in Scarsdale aiming at dressing up homes and offices with essential oils and diffusers. Jaime was all smiles (yes...I felt it even with her mask on) and talked about oil blends used in their products. The interesting diffuser collection varies depending on the room's square footage you're using it in. My sleek portable diffuser is enough for my bedroom (primarily)- but I can easily move it to our home office, living room, my vanity room, walk-in closet or any other area of the house with ease. Plus I can also gauge how strong or how long I want the oils to diffuse. I've been enjoying diffusing my Sage+Vanilla (and Lavender I think) oil blend before bedtime to help quiet my mind, relax my body and get me into a restful state so that I can fall asleep more easily especially- during these challenging times. This is an excellent addition in chic Scarsdale and a much needed one at that. My home is my sanctuary and I'm sure yours is too. You can use sprays...but why would you want all those harmful ingredients around you when you can destress with some aromatherapy?

I was curious since I couldn't imagine a store that only sold "scents'. While walking on Harwood Court, I saw the store and a stranger walked up to me and said, "you should check out that new store, it smells incredible". I decided to go inside and as soon as I walked in the door I felt like I was being seduced by the most incredible fragrances. I realized that Scents and Fluence might be the best remedy to staying at home during our ongoing pandemic. You can have the most stimulating scents or aromatic ones pumped into your home via your heating and air-conditioning systems. You might choose to buy individual room "scenters" that can give off little blasts of fragrances that might stimulate your teenagers to be more motivated as they zoom with their classmates. I ended up buying some amazing hand sanitizers with fragrances that came in both masculine and feminine scents. For me, I bought a Bamboo hand sanitizer that came in a cool little bottle for $6. I put some on when I got into my car and I was astonished by how the aroma filled the vehicle; I inhaled and felt almost giddy. The owner, Caroline Fabrigas, was kind enough to explain all the unique features of her store and how these scents can enhance your home or office. I would urge you to visit her store and explore how you can improve your lives and those of the members of your family. As soon as I tried my Bamboo hand sanitizer I began to call some of my friends and urged them to plan on visiting Scents & Fluence. I don't normally get so excited about a new store, let alone one that sells " fragrances " but as we are often stuck at home and with the prospects of another shutdown looming, I think Scents & Fluence might help make staying hone more pleasant and possibly even more inviting.

Both their invitations and favors are of high quality for reasonable prices. Gabriella and her mother work with you with your budget and are incredibly sweet and patient even if you are on a time crunch. I got my wedding invites and favors all ready to go. No wrapping, tying or taping. For the invites I just put them in the envelope that was already pre printed and stuck a stamp on them. Best of all the invites and favors were 3 times less expensive and less work then if I did it online. This is my new invitation/favor spot.

I wasn't impressed with my Valentine's bouquet from this florists for a few reasons…read more Firstly, the bouquet that I was to receive was meant to be a surprise and despite this, someone from the florist shop called me to ask if I had received a delivery. Very tacky. As a business, I'd like to think there was more communication between the delivery driver and the staff at the shop. After, I worked out that the delivery was made to my neighbor accidentally. Secondly, the bouquet itself was lackluster. No baby's breath as filler or anything. For the premium price being paid, especially on Valentine's Day. Both I and the sender were a little disappointed. Lastly, the water in the vase is filthy! It seems as though the flowers were just pushed into the vase with twigs, dirt and everything else. I have never seen anything like this. Of course the water is meant to be changed frequently but presentation just wasn't there. With so many other florists in the area, I'd skip this one in future.
