We stood our ground as that's just not something we are interested in doing. Upon arriving to the building we were staying in there was a pile of trash outside the door that remained for the rest of our stay. The smell of the hallways and the units were a bit off putting, and you can tell by certain quirks that the units aren't deeply cleaned. Such as residues in the sinks and walls and finding food behind the tv stand. The units are certainly dated, but they are a decent size for the price, two full size bathrooms, a living/dining area, a bedroom (with a really comfy bed) , a patio and a kitchen with pretty much everything you need (we asked the front desk for a baking sheet and they had one that we could use). The customer service was great through our entire stay, and what really made this review a 3 star instead of 2. This place really needs some updates if they want to keep charging the prices they do. To be fair we came in the winter so we weren't able to utilize all the other amenities such as the mini golf, but I'm not sure that would make a difference for me.

Oceanfront with private beaches. Next, the houses range from modest cottages that sleep 4, to huge homes. Something in everyone's price range. The houses are clean and well-stocked with all the necessities. You can bring your own linens or you can rent anything you can't (or don't want to) bring. And finally, the fun as well as the peace and quiet! Beach Realty enforces the occupancy limit so if you are looking to rent a party house and cram a lot of people into it, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a house, large or small, to share with family and friends, it's a perfect area. Lots to do including kayaking, swimming, boating, shopping, or just hanging out on your very private beachfront. Love them!

This was the first summer we used Del Mar Vacations, and it was great. We were located in Wellfleet…read moreon the pier, directly across Mayo Beach, to be specific. There are several locations to choose from and different layouts in each house. The one we stayed in was pretty small and cramped, with an attached living room and kitchen, a bathroom, a master bedroom, and a bunk bed in another room. The bedding was no issue for us, as it was comfy. The room was clean, and the air conditioning flowed smoothly and was well organized. A lock is on top of the door for the bathroom, which is a hook. Outside is a table and even a walkway to view the complex. There is plenty to do, with the bay directly across and Wellfleet Center not far away. Our only minor complaint is the parking, which is very cramped and close to the road. Widening it would be an improvement. Regarding the price and stay, we are willing to use Del Mar Vacations in the future.

This property is outdated and I didn't feel secure as the front door lock was minimal, to say the…read moreleast. The complex laundry facilities were under our unit, like in the basement. There was a separate entrance, but people going in and coming out earlier and later were very annoying as the door slammed and we could hear the equipment running. As someone else mentioned, the appliances were older and there were only ice cube trays. There was what looked to me like mold in the shower. The management later told me it was only discoloration. Since it wasn't tested in any way, it is my opinion it as black mold. At the end of our stay, we were expected to wash the dishes, clean up in general AND take out the trash and recycle, which were in two different locations in the complex. They are affiliated with Wyndham and Wyndham should be ashamed to be connected in anyway with such a place. I would never stay here again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

I was in the shop getting ice cream for my children and two boys were basically asking me to buy them things in the store...it was sad! The staff told them they can not ask people to buy things for them. We will never go there again.
