Working with Dawn, the event coordinator was such a wonderful experience. The WLYC sits right on Wequaquet Lake, making it a dreamy backdrop for all of our pictures. Every single person we interacted with (especially Dawn) at WLYC was genuinely kind and helpful throughout the entire process, we never felt like we were just another wedding. We were able to bring in our own catering and use their kitchen. Part of their contract is to use their bar and bartenders (who were amazing, our guests raved about them!), fortunately their alcohol was very reasonably priced. The whole dining room faces the lake and large windows run the length of the room, there was plenty of space for all of our (17) tables and still room for dancing! They done a number of renovations over the past few years, giving the dining and entry rooms a beautiful facelift (and a higher ceiling) without losing any of the Cape yacht club charm. This venue is amazing whether or not you're planning your event on a budget (but especially if you are). Check it out, talk to Dawn, you will not regret it!

First and foremost, Nicole, our Event Coordinator was absolutely amazing!! Nicole was so caring and kind, super helpful and a pleasure to work with!! Meeting her in 2019, we felt right at home with her, like she was family or as if we had known her for years! She made sure our planning was stress-free and had our back 1000% along the way! I cannot express the gratitude we have for her!! We booked our 2021 wedding long before the pandemic hit, so the months leading up to our big day had us biting our nails! But nevertheless, Nicole made sure we were informed of any updates along the way and she left everything completely transparent. Fast forward to last month, we had our big day on July 24! Everything was executed BETTER than I ever could have imagined. It was absolutely beautiful! The lighting inside the hall was so bright, and gave such a warm and happy vibe. The space was so inviting and we could not have been any happier. The Salerno's staff was top notch! All of the waitstaff, bartenders, and service workers were on top of their game!! All were so attentive and friendly! They did such an amazing job!! Almost every single guest we have talked to since the wedding has said that it was the BEST wedding they have ever attended! We stood our ground as that's just not something we are interested in doing. Upon arriving to the building we were staying in there was a pile of trash outside the door that remained for the rest of our stay. The smell of the hallways and the units were a bit off putting, and you can tell by certain quirks that the units aren't deeply cleaned. Such as residues in the sinks and walls and finding food behind the tv stand. The units are certainly dated, but they are a decent size for the price, two full size bathrooms, a living/dining area, a bedroom (with a really comfy bed) , a patio and a kitchen with pretty much everything you need (we asked the front desk for a baking sheet and they had one that we could use). The customer service was great through our entire stay, and what really made this review a 3 star instead of 2. This place really needs some updates if they want to keep charging the prices they do. To be fair we came in the winter so we weren't able to utilize all the other amenities such as the mini golf, but I'm not sure that would make a difference for me.
