Beautiful course, perfectly maintained bent grass fairways and white sand bunkers. However, a five and a half hour round is not what I expected for a course such as this... Didn't see a single marshal the entire day. We, a threesome, were stuck behind three foursomes all day who were easily 20+ handicappers. Extremely disappointed by the pace of play, and pretty much ruined what should have been a serene golfing experience.

The Cape Club is a must if you are in Falmouth or anywhere on Cape Cod! The staff's great in every area of the Club from the pro golf shop & the driving range to The Cape Grille restaurant! The driving range is absolutely beautiful. We went to The Cape Grille after hitting balls at the range. The food was the best we've ever had on the Cape! The steak was cooked to perfection! The desserts were unbelievable! The cheesecake melted in your mouth! Everything was perfect!

First and foremost this is a spectacular golf course (design, conditions, range, putting green, extra comfortable carts with GPS). However... The GPS in the cart was "off" for the pin positions on several holes; thank goodness for my range finder. (Also, my GPS watch was off by a lot a few times - so I just stopped using it.) I had a confirmed 8 AM tee time (as a single) and checked in early with the pro shop; no problem. After hitting a few balls I politely asked a couple of other guys "are you at 8 AM" and they say "yes" and I say "great I look forward to playing with you, I'm going to go putt for a minute." So one guy introduces himself on the putting green and says "I like to walk so I'm going to get a head start on the other guys." I think "cool maybe I'll walk also if the course layout is reasonable for that." Then things get weird. Starter says "Mr. X always has the 8 AM tee time" and "we've got you down for 9 AM" (which I contest - and had an email printout to prove it) and it looks like maybe they have a foursome but there are openings behind so I say "okay no worries." Then over the next 5-10 minutes I am told "you have to ride" as I notice a single ahead of a threesome (2 guys in a cart and the guy that introduced himself on putting green walking). I get pretty irate at this point. If I'm going to be made to ride (as a non-member) why not let me out ahead of the threesome (from the start) or really much more common why aren't I invited to join the threesome. Anyway the threesome waves me through them on 2-3 and I never do see the single ahead of them - though I do see his footprints and putt lines in the dew on the front nine greens. (Kudos to him - because I finished in about 2 hrs & 15 mins.) Bottom line: The fiasco on the first tee spoiled what should have been a really special golf experience. P.S. - Cart had bottles for divot repairs - but they were both empty. - Didn't see water (to drink) anywhere during round. - Many of the cart paths were not paved and were pretty bumpy rides.

Great staff (extremely accommodating) and super layout. With multiple tee boxes it's the perfect fit for all levels. Will be back again.

what an awesome course. and i'm not just saying that because i dropped a 70' putt for birdie on…read morethe 460 yard par 5. ok, maybe i am just a little bit. the lady and i were able to take advantage of a groupon - $40 for 18 and a cart - and drove down for a spot of golf on a cool, windy sundy afternoon. although it's on the cape, it only took us about an hour to get here from the q, so you can definitely do a day trip here. the set up here is great. the course feels really long, but maybe that's just because i'm used to playing par 3 courses - a trend which may have happily ended. i played the white tees while the lady enjoyed a significant distance advantage from a majority of the reds. the par 3's are extremely tight and challenging, the 4's require some thinking, and the 5's are long and wide open. grip it n' rip it, baby!! the par 3 9th has the only water you run into on the course and is probably the signature hole. you can find the sand as well on many holes, but the real challenge here is the change of elevation. it is not uncommon to have to pitch *up* 30 or 50 feet to the green from 100 yards out. to practice, i recommend trying to hit your 9 iron through a 4th floor window. or something. quick practical note - the address here is 48 theatre drive, east falmouth. the course's website lists the town as "hatchville," but east falmouth worked in my nav.

Honestly so tough to have to leave this I was looking for a way to add a review through google so…read moremore see this but I can't. Book a nice outing for me and my friends couple first time golfers. After a good first 9 proceeding in under general pace of play time we were approached on hole 14 by a ranger. Guy was freaking pissed. Clearly didn't like that a group of young men were playing a nice round with a couple of first timer comes over to us and starts busting our chops about pace of play. This is the first time we saw or talked to this individual and he just came at us firing. What started as a very normal conversation to just pick up the pace, escalated into somewhat of a threat from this loser who clearly didn't get his frustrations out within the first couple words he said. We carried on and then our nice kind ranger buddy that we met before shows up again the next hole . What does he expect for something to change after 1 hole. Eventually he came back on the 16th hole and started clapping at us, something that I felt was incredibly disrespectful especially on the golf course acting like we're a bunch of lost sheep that he needs to heard in. At this point I was so sick of this tool that I honestly started playing slower just out of pure frustration. Guy doesn't have an ounce of grace in his body and even if he did certainly not for us. Wish I took his name because I would be dropping it in full fashion right now and honestly I would hope the course would see this. I give it 2 stars because it's a nice course for pretty cheap but if you want to be respected or have a nice time with your group apparently this isn't the place for you. Only way i'll ever go back is if I get to give that bozo a piece of my mind. Childish behavior, maybe don't send out 6 groups within 3 tee blocks of time and you won't hit a backup. Embarrassing
