The golf course was in excellent shape in June 2026! Tee boxes, greens, and fairways all well maintained. Regrettably, there are some golfers that can't seem to get with the program and repair their divots, fix ball marks, or put their cigarette butts in the trash. Went to the Cape Club for dinner with my family and had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was very attentive, live music on the back deck was great, and the food was 10/10. Can't wait to go back, and will be telling friends to go as well. Plus the sunset view was a nice touch. read more

I've been going well before PreCovid and love the place, both the restaurant and the course. Although the course is beautiful and the golf carts are very nice, the cart paths need major work. They are in the worst shape on the dirt paths. Ya, you bounce around but what takes the real beating is the nice new golf carts. Secondly, a big disappointment was the lunch. BLT with chicken and chowder. 1) I always thought the chowder 'was' one of the best around. Don't know what happened, but it went from best to worst. Being presented in the smallest cappuccino cup they could find, it was terrible. Tasted like warm milk. The 'broth' had no flavor at all. Truly not what they served pre Covid. 2) The BLT had the hardest stick like burnt bacon as well as the chicken, you can tell the chicken had been sitting around quit a while and was the dryest chicken ever. Don't know if the cook staff is the same as pre Covid, but I tend to think not. I use to go for dinner as well, but after this simple lunch turned ugly, I'll look around for a better place for dinner. Sorry, a big disappointment. read more

Beautiful course, perfectly maintained bent grass fairways and white sand bunkers. However, a five and a half hour round is not what I expected for a course such as this... Didn't see a single marshal the entire day. We, a threesome, were stuck behind three foursomes all day who were easily 20+ handicappers. Extremely disappointed by the pace of play, and pretty much ruined what should have been a serene golfing experience. read more

We played this course as guests last year 2020 with our friend that were members. We liked the course except for the carts paths which were terrible. We joined our selves this year. The course itself is good. Conditions very alot and often quite wet. The restaurant has been a travesty this year. Inconsistent way over priced and often closed, really sad and either the staff doesn't care or their hands are tied. Now to renew member ships for 2022 the club is asking for what amounts to over a 40% increase. They have censured their app from allowing members to comment. Will not be renewing at this time. Don't buy a condominium at the Cape Club Sharon unless you like loud noise all day long. They use the loudest leaf/grass blower in the world. It's as loud or louder than a jet engine. It's terrible! read more

If you're buying a house in cape club, you may want to read this. I bought a house 11 months ago in Cape club from Alan Porretti. I have so many issues that are on the punchlist including water in the basement cracked window stained hardwood floors.and many more. So far all I have got is a lot of empty promises to fix and nothing being done with the major problems.I realize they pay attention to the men (new owners )in the neighborhood, but not to a single woman who has also invested in the place. At this point I am tired of the lipservice and the excuses not to show up for this work. I've tried being nice and patient during Covid. After paying so much extra for hardwood floors and other upgrades I certainly did not expect this type of behavio. I guess making ongoing large commissions, is all that matters and not looking back, is how they stand behind their work. It should not be my job to track down who is responsible for each item as Alan P.is the go in between builders workmen and me. read more

Shouldn't even be considered for a star but that wasn't an option! To begin I thank the previous reviewer related to building at the Cape Club of Falmouth. The review validated why I needed to get out of my deal. I gave a deposit on lot # 3 at the Cape Club of Falmouth in May 2021 and as of April, 2022 , have a partially framed structure (not built according to the plans), two windows and a front door. Needless to say the first P & S expired after its 60 day extension , The builder agreed to an extension, but was unwilling to negotiate any type of penalty and gave an unachievable completion date. Michael Intoccia, the developer, was full of empty promises and very quick to blame anyone but himself for his mismanagement and failure throughout the process. I have built two previous homes and never have I been involved in such a nightmare or with such an unaccountable, irresponsible businessman. I would advise anyone interested in purchasing property at the Cape Club of Falmouth to do their homework and check out Mr. Intoccia's track record. read more

First the good news. The golf course was excellent, a marked improvement from the old Ballymeade. We stayed for dinner and had an excellent burger at the bar at reasonable pricing. However, they bill themselves as a "Country Club for a Day" . There is some work to be done here. Start with the disinterested woman behind the desk who didn't greet us, even say "hello" just "how many are you, etc. What Country Club makes you buy range balls to warm up with? What Country Club makes you hit off mats looking at a perfect tee in front of you. What club sends you out in a cart with a warm bottle of water, no ice, no divot mix. They have no refreshments on the course -no water anywhere. The cart girl quit before 5, zoomed by, driving across a tee when one of our group was teeing off! She never asked if we wanted anything or gave us a clue she was done for the day. Finally if you drive in some areas of the course where it is not allowed although not marked as such, it says"your cart is locked- get on the cart path immediately. Not friendly. The guys at the cart barn were very helpful and did a good job on our return. In short, lots of potential, but a lot of work to do with their operation. read more

First and foremost this is a spectacular golf course (design, conditions, range, putting green, extra comfortable carts with GPS). However... The GPS in the cart was "off" for the pin positions on several holes; thank goodness for my range finder. (Also, my GPS watch was off by a lot a few times - so I just stopped using it.) I had a confirmed 8 AM tee time (as a single) and checked in early with the pro shop; no problem. After hitting a few balls I politely asked a couple of other guys "are you at 8 AM" and they say "yes" and I say "great I look forward to playing with you, I'm going to go putt for a minute." So one guy introduces himself on the putting green and says "I like to walk so I'm going to get a head start on the other guys." I think "cool maybe I'll walk also if the course layout is reasonable for that." Then things get weird. Starter says "Mr. X always has the 8 AM tee time" and "we've got you down for 9 AM" (which I contest - and had an email printout to prove it) and it looks like maybe they have a foursome but there are openings behind so I say "okay no worries." Then over the next 5-10 minutes I am told "you have to ride" as I notice a single ahead of a threesome (2 guys in a cart and the guy that introduced himself on putting green walking). I get pretty irate at this point. If I'm going to be made to ride (as a non-member) why not let me out ahead of the threesome (from the start) or really much more common why aren't I invited to join the threesome. Anyway the threesome waves me through them on 2-3 and I never do see the single ahead of them - though I do see his footprints and putt lines in the dew on the front nine greens. (Kudos to him - because I finished in about 2 hrs & 15 mins.) Bottom line: The fiasco on the first tee spoiled what should have been a really special golf experience. P.S. - Cart had bottles for divot repairs - but they were both empty. - Didn't see water (to drink) anywhere during round. - Many of the cart paths were not paved and were pretty bumpy rides. read more

The golf course is an improvement over Ballymeade as far as layout and conditions are concerned, but there are clearly many details to be worked out. For $125/round, I would expect to not have to pay $8 for a bucket of range balls. Furthermore, there were absolutely no food options available at the turn. We drove up to the cape grille and it was a ghost town at 11:20. Someone in the kitchen informed us that they don't open until 11:30 and food couldn't be available until noon. I expect a whole lot more for this price, especially a course managed by Troon. read more

Played 18 and was impressed by the course. Well maintained and beautiful. After the front 9 we stopped at the club house and I ordered the cheeseburger. The service was great and the burger blew me away. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I guess I have become accustomed to regular subpar burgers, but this one was so good I had to write a review. I would absolutely recommend it, even if you aren't golfing it is worth the trip. read more

My wife and I hired the Cape Club to host our wedding. The entire process including planning and executing went very smoothly. The building itself has a great lay out and was recently renovated. I've been to the Cape Club twice for dinner with friends. It's a nice clubhouse with a restaurant open to the public. Dress is a mix of golf wear and dressy casual on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is comfortable and exactly what you'd expect at a golf club. The wine list is a bit limited but the bar is fully stocked. The food is very good. We've had short ribs, filet, salmon, haddock and cod. Consistently great. Portion size is perfect and they are very accommodating when we've asked for substitutions. We also love the crisps in the breadbasket. Haven't tried the desserts yet. The downside is the incredibly long wait for food from the kitchen. We though it was an off night the first time but had the same experience each time. The wait staff is good but seems a bit stretched. I hope they figure it out. read more

Cape Club Team did not meet expectations. I was part of a golf tournament of ~100 players a few days ago and felt unwelcome by Tournament Director, Ranger and post tournament buffet ran out of food. I understand the Club has rules for the benefit of the course and all participants but the Tournament Director and Ranger team clearly did not either want us there did not want us to return. Yelling at 60 and 70 year old guests in the parking lot, over the PA system and on the course shows me the Team does not understand what Troon Golf is trying to accomplish with this new course and beautiful venue. How does addressing Tournament players with threats of being "Kicked off the Course" and "Removed from the Course" (multiple times) for not following the rules align with Troon's mission of "Services at the Cape Club will be centered on "member for a day" foundation". 90 degree rule was in effect and multiple players noting the Rangers loud voice stating 'get on the cart path' during play. During the post tournament buffet over two full tables (16+ people) did not have any protein. When the person in charge was ask about the main dish and additional trays the initial response was 'I didn't plan this'. After a return from the kitchen an apology was then offered followed by protein 20+ min later. Overall I believe the team was inexperienced and hope they can learn from, what even they believe was, a poor "member for a day" performance. For all future users of this venue, it's up to you to set expectation for the entire experience. read more

The Cape Grill which is the restaurant part of the club. They have great food, the dining room and bar are beautifully done and a very personable staff. The improvements to the building look great and the golf course has now been completely redone and I awesome. My daughter is having her wedding there on the 10 of September and we have worked very closely with the event staff and they have been exemplary and the entire event level, the bridal room and the grooms room are impeccably done.
