When my mom got to where there was nothing more the hospital could medically treat yet she needed constant care we had a hard choice o make. We went with This place because we knew nothing about these places and this was where the hospital recommended which I would also like to work on getting the hospital to stop referring patients here. Especially people go with it because they think they can trust their recommendations! My mom clearly received not even subpar care but awful care if you can even use "care" After a stay there they had to transport her back to the hospital because she had been running a fever and wasn't lucid and was very lethargic. Which is funny because the nurse just told my dad the say before that my mom was doing the same as usual. It makes me very angry because due to Covid protocol absolutely no Visitors and because my mom was incapable of talking con the phone, we had no information beside what the nurses told us. When she was back at the hospital the neglect was clear. She had an infection so severe that it was obvious she hadn't been getting her medication. That was bad enough but the worst was getting the news she tested positive for Covid. She had to have gotten it at Medilodge because she was negative when she went in and seeing as they didn't allow any visitors there's no other explanation. That makes me very angry since we lost that time with my mom so they could "kept everyone safe" yet their staff clearly wasn't following protocols themselves!! Sadly my mom passed only 3 rage after being taken back to the hospital. Who knows how long she ACTUALLY had symptoms before they took action. Due to the level of neglect my mom showed they have no credibility IMO! I wasn't going to write a review on this because not only is it painful, I'm also very angry and didn't want my review to sound like sour grapes. What changed my mind is thinking of all the patients still there who are at the mercy of this awful place! With the Covid protocols not allowing any visitors they have zero accountability! I just pray that no one else has to lose a loved one due to the gross negligence of this place

Rooms are spacious, very clean and homey. Lots of activities to participate in and friends to meet. I love it here and am very happy and pleased. In house dialysis is fantastic to have.

A year ago he was happy , And I spend a fantastic day with him, the head of Maintenance even sat and asked if there were any concerns and offered us candy bars, where did that guy go ? I dont know what changed, but he also told me he doesnt get to do activities as much because noone gets him into his wheelchair. When I questioned this the Nurse told me the Activities Director was lazy and walked away from me. I seen no supporting staff, the janitors were sitting in the t.v. room the entire 2 hours I was there, the nurse's aids or cna's or whoever they are took 20 minutes to answer the nurse's call button and advised me not to use it so much after my first attempt. I wouldnt put a homeless dog here for the weekend, I spoke with my friends family and they are making plans to get him out of there. Im unsure of what changed over the last year, but that medilodge has gone to hell. Never have I seen a bigger group of unhappy, un motivated group of complaining workers.
