This hotel was classically beautiful. I was blessed to get a corner room 1517! I loved the views. The bed was super comfortable and the whole style was top notch. Theo had some great eating options on site. Their cafe in the hotel was really good. And Theo pub was very cozy. I wasn't able to make it to the speakeasy but all and all I had no complaints.

My wife and I have such a wonderful history with this hotel. We got married here, and it was the best night of our lives! Every time we are in the city, we come and hangout in the beautiful lobby, even if it's to have a cup of coffee from the coffee shop or a drink from the lobby bar. They have a Prantl's Bakery opening soon, which is just another incredible amenity. We have attended a candlelight concert here in the Urban Room, and it was an incredible evening. We recently attended a friend's wedding here, and we told the front desk it was also close to our two-year wedding anniversary and that we got married at the hotel. They surprised us with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and flower petals on the bed. It's these gestures of Omni staff going the extra mile for us that make us come back again and again to capture the joy we've always felt here. The hotel is older, yet elegant. I've never had a bad stay here. If you get a chance, checkout the speakeasy and do a high tea in the Terrace Room. Both are great experiences!

Cirque & Sip is the newest pop up bar in town located inside the Omni William Penn Hotel! They did a fantastic job with the decor inside! I loved the detailed decorations, cute photo ops, and fun theme! The circus themed cocktails were really cute although a little too sweet for my taste and I like that they have crowd favorite snacks like mini corn dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy available. The pop up will be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday through Labor Day!

Wonderful hotel that is convenient to all the things in the city. Very historic and has loads of charm. Theres lots of dining and drinking options in the hotel. This hotel has been in existence since 1916 and the historic details are still there in all their glory. It is obvious that great care is taken in maintaining and honoring the heritage of this place. The lobbies, open public spaces, and the rooms are very well preserved and very clean. There's a coffee shop and several restaurants. There's also a gift shop that is open 7 days a week. There's also a Speak Easy which I highly recommend. The room itself was very spacious and clean. It was actually huge! Lots of space. We had a king sized bed and two separate bathrooms. One with a toilet and a vanity and the other with a toilet and a shower/tub. There were two closets, a desk, and a large window that was the length of the room and gave terrific views and light. There was a fridge, coffee maker, TV, and lots of outlets. The temperature was very comfortable and they even had a spare pillow and blanket in one of the closets. Everyone that works at this hotel is very friendly and pleasant. They were very accommodating and helpful. They do have valet for $45 per day or there's a garage across the street that you can park in for a daily fee. For sure would stay here again!

I attended the opening of Cirque & Sips, the newest pop up located at the Omni William Penn Hotel. They had circus decor and themed drinks and bites. My friends and I had a blast and definitely recommend checking out. The pop up will be open July 10th through Labor Day!

Candlelight concerts - Queen They offered candlelight, string quartet, & Queen. That is exactly what we got. Two of the quartet's English was so heavily accented, I had no idea what they were saying. An hour was more than enough. It left a sour taste in my mouth that the musicians had a tip jar outside the performance area. Two tickets were at least $80 - $176. The hotel's performance bar had Diet Coke for $5 in a glass tumbler, not a bottle. Beer was being sold in a bottle. Water was free by the cup.

They did a Valentines pop up bar and it was awesome! There was a bit of a line to get in but then once we did we were able to get a table. Drinks were strong but still tasty and the snacks we got really hit the spot. Not to mention - they have great ranch!! Super cute decorations & vibe inside.

I recently stayed here for a night while visiting Pittsburgh. The hotel is beautiful from the outside from the inside is where the issues begin. It is in desperate need of a remodel. the foundation of a once beautiful space with sweeping chandeliers in French windows is present, however, everything from the paint, the drapes and the carpet is it in the state of disrepair. Parking is also a huge issue as aside from $55 a day valet parking the hotel does not offer any on-site parking. There's a dingy garage across the street that you can use, again with no In-N-Out privileges. the rooms are at the level of a best Western, not very clean, and the bed in the room 1144 was not comfortable and sinking in the middle. The building is historic and I found it. A little disappointing that none of the staff I talk to could relate any of the history of the building to me. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Pros: Amber was very efficient and professional when she checked me in Ample meeting spaces and comfortable guest rooms Enjoyed reading about the history of this hotel Liked the light at the base of the nightstand that had a sensor Friendly, efficient staff Great downtown location Cons: Hotel fees are outrageous, but they have a captive audience $45 for valet parking $75 early check in fee Pro tip: Great location if walkability is important. Many restaurants are nearby.

Stunning and luxurious hotel!! So historic. Probably one of my favorite hotels in Pittsburgh. Beautiful. Definitely worth to stay a night or just to visit. They have wonderful bars too and currently have a Christmas pop up bar

Absolutely disgusting to see blood stains like this.

Haven't been since they were recovering from Covid. Has room service been reinstated? Is there Valet parking available and if so what hours? Hours of Doorman? Need to check in late and need it to be stress free. Thank you!

I checked in late and staff was present with no issues. No valet and doorman not visible. Bar was open until 2 am and rooms are nice all and all good stay.

I stayed here one night because I thought the trendy Bloomfield neighborhood would provide a nice change-of-pace from the more established downtown area. I was also planning to drive to upstate New York and thought this would be a convenient location for a faster getaway. Well, a sudden winter snowstorm forced me to cancel the side trip to New York, and I ended up spending very little time exploring Bloomfield because I took a long nap in my room after a sleepless night in the previous hotel. Even though it was bordering on pointless to shift to this hotel, I still enjoyed the studio I reserved for $152. There was a comfortable king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a corner sofa, and a 360-degree swivel flatscreen TV. It was a lot of amenities I didn't need, but hey, it was freezing cold, so the apartment set-up made it feel cozy. One other advantage was a sizable lot to park my rental SUV. Even though they offered a happy hour and continental breakfast, I skipped both. Instead I braved the cold and just strolled on Baum to find a decent greasy spoon for dinner and a quiet gay bar for a drink. Not a bad stay, and I'd consider a return to explore Bloomfield. When we pulled up to the hotel, we parked in an area that the front desk later confirmed was not valet parking and that we were fully permitted to use. Despite this, a man wearing a plain black shirt with no name tag, hotel logo, or other identification immediately approached us and aggressively demanded, "You need to give me your keys now." He never introduced himself, never identified himself as a hotel employee or valet attendant, and never welcomed us to the hotel. Instead, he immediately became confrontational. When I explained that I was not comfortable handing my vehicle keys to an unidentified stranger, he escalated the situation by repeatedly yelling, "Bro, bro, you're not going to disrespect me." We attempted to walk away and continue with check-in, but the harassment did not stop. After checking in, we returned outside to unload our luggage, and he immediately confronted us again. This time, he threatened that if I did not hand over my keys, "there would be consequences." No guest should ever be threatened simply for asking reasonable questions or wanting to verify the identity of someone requesting possession of their vehicle. The front desk staff later confirmed that we had parked in the correct location and acknowledged that this employee's behavior was inappropriate. While I appreciated their honesty, that did not change what had already occurred or the fact that the individual continued to work the front entrance. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened throughout the remainder of our stay. Every time we entered or exited the hotel, this valet employee continued making comments about my group to his coworkers. He would smirk, laugh, and make remarks within earshot of us, often in front of the front desk staff. Rather than feeling welcomed as paying guests, we felt uncomfortable and uneasy every time we walked through the lobby. The hostility that began upon our arrival never truly ended. As an IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member who spends more than 200 nights each year almost exclusively at IHG properties, I have always chosen IHG because of the professionalism, hospitality, and consistency I have experienced across its brands. Unfortunately, this stay was unlike anything I have ever encountered. In all my years of traveling, I have never felt so disrespected, singled out, isolated, or unwelcome at a hotel. IHG promotes its hotels as places where every guest should feel safe, respected, and valued. That was not my experience at this property. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, I felt that our concerns were dismissed, and the behavior of this employee created an environment where we no longer felt comfortable. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It has caused me to seriously reconsider my loyalty to IHG after spending hundreds of nights each year with the brand. I hope hotel management and IHG Corporate conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, address the conduct of the employee involved, and ensure that no future guest has to experience the same treatment we did.

The woman helping us was efficient, personable, and even gave us a walking map of the area. She also gave us two drink vouchers to use on house beer, wine, or a mocktail at the hotel bar. 2) Rooms: Our larger room was on the 4th floor with two queen sized beds. The room corridor was wide, making it look much larger. There are plenty of outlets everywhere, lights, a TV, a Keurig machine, a fridge, and more. The bathroom was spacious with a toilet room with a closing door inside, a large shower, and Le Labo shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The beds are semi comfy and come with lots of pillows. 3) Amenities: There's no pool, but there is a gym with machines and weights. There's also a small rooftop terrace with a view of the Cathedral of Learning, work areas, and more. There's valet parking and a cheaper parking garage not connected to the hotel across the street. One interesting aspect of the hotel is that it's on the site of the Syrian Mosque, a large music venue. A recording studio, guitar, etc. inside the hotel are all nods to the music venue. 4) Service: The staff were very friendly and helpful. After a day of exploring, our room had a nice card with chocolate, macarons, and raspberries, and nice water for us. My wife forgot her toothbrush and the front desk gave her a free one from behind the desk! 5) Neighborhood: It's next to a number of museums and monuments and the Cathedral of Learning, which is worth a tour to see their Nationality Rooms.

We ended up being 20 minutes driving from the venue instead of 10 minutes walking distance. I was already in a pretty terrible mood. Then, we landed and came in contact with the cyber security issue and everyone's systems were down. This could've made this hotel staff in a bitter mood dealing with angry guests. Instead, they were the NICEST people I have ever come in contact with in a hotel environment; so understanding, helpful, kind, and patient. The room was extremely simple; there is no microwave, no mini fridge, so do not expect to have leftovers for the next day. Breakfast is also not included with the room, which was a bummer. Because of the lack of amenities, this hotel receives 4 stars. We called for support from the front desk twice because our TV was being finicky and we were short on towels (cyber security made us extend our stay, which again, the staff were SO helpful with) and someone was up to our room in less than 5 minutes with help, what we needed, and a smile. The same staff were there my whole stay and were so personable when we arrived and left every time. We've had great experiences with other Hotel Indigos and we were willing to stay a bit outside of the city to stay at this trusting brand, but we were very sorry we did. While the hotel appears decent on the exterior the rooms are anything but clean. Our trip started with arriving to what appeared to be an okay room. The room/hall had a vague scent of mold but that as the least of our worries. When I went to put my water bottle in the fridge I noticed there was a McChicken from a previous guest. The fridge also smelled so it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Upon further inspection the room had multiple stains on our bedding as seen below. I travel often and I have never been in a hotel room so dirty. The floor had clearly not been swept in between guests as evidenced from a penny and some crumbs found near the trash can. In addition to the dirty interior the bathroom and shower were not cleaned. The shower had hair from a guest that was neither myself or my traveling partner. There were also cracks in the walls throughout the bathroom. In addition to the disgusting room the hotel also employs one person for the Valet. The lines to get your car were consistently long and for $32 per night it really didn't seem worth it. If this were a cheap hotel I would simply say you get what you pay for but it's not. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. While the area surrounding the hotel is decent, the hotel itself is not worth it. You can pay a similar amount for a hotel in a more central location with better cleanliness. The only reason the review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the AC worked very well and we were visiting during a heat wave. Overall, we will not be returning to this Hotel Indigo.

It's too bad that the cold reception at the bar overshadowed what would have otherwise been a fun nightcap.
