This hotel was classically beautiful. I was blessed to get a corner room 1517! I loved the views. The bed was super comfortable and the whole style was top notch. Theo had some great eating options on site. Their cafe in the hotel was really good. And Theo pub was very cozy. I wasn't able to make it to the speakeasy but all and all I had no complaints.

My wife and I have such a wonderful history with this hotel. We got married here, and it was the best night of our lives! Every time we are in the city, we come and hangout in the beautiful lobby, even if it's to have a cup of coffee from the coffee shop or a drink from the lobby bar. They have a Prantl's Bakery opening soon, which is just another incredible amenity. We have attended a candlelight concert here in the Urban Room, and it was an incredible evening. We recently attended a friend's wedding here, and we told the front desk it was also close to our two-year wedding anniversary and that we got married at the hotel. They surprised us with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and flower petals on the bed. It's these gestures of Omni staff going the extra mile for us that make us come back again and again to capture the joy we've always felt here. The hotel is older, yet elegant. I've never had a bad stay here. If you get a chance, checkout the speakeasy and do a high tea in the Terrace Room. Both are great experiences!

Cirque & Sip is the newest pop up bar in town located inside the Omni William Penn Hotel! They did a fantastic job with the decor inside! I loved the detailed decorations, cute photo ops, and fun theme! The circus themed cocktails were really cute although a little too sweet for my taste and I like that they have crowd favorite snacks like mini corn dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy available. The pop up will be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday through Labor Day!

Wonderful hotel that is convenient to all the things in the city. Very historic and has loads of charm. Theres lots of dining and drinking options in the hotel. This hotel has been in existence since 1916 and the historic details are still there in all their glory. It is obvious that great care is taken in maintaining and honoring the heritage of this place. The lobbies, open public spaces, and the rooms are very well preserved and very clean. There's a coffee shop and several restaurants. There's also a gift shop that is open 7 days a week. There's also a Speak Easy which I highly recommend. The room itself was very spacious and clean. It was actually huge! Lots of space. We had a king sized bed and two separate bathrooms. One with a toilet and a vanity and the other with a toilet and a shower/tub. There were two closets, a desk, and a large window that was the length of the room and gave terrific views and light. There was a fridge, coffee maker, TV, and lots of outlets. The temperature was very comfortable and they even had a spare pillow and blanket in one of the closets. Everyone that works at this hotel is very friendly and pleasant. They were very accommodating and helpful. They do have valet for $45 per day or there's a garage across the street that you can park in for a daily fee. For sure would stay here again!

I attended the opening of Cirque & Sips, the newest pop up located at the Omni William Penn Hotel. They had circus decor and themed drinks and bites. My friends and I had a blast and definitely recommend checking out. The pop up will be open July 10th through Labor Day!

They did a Valentines pop up bar and it was awesome! There was a bit of a line to get in but then once we did we were able to get a table. Drinks were strong but still tasty and the snacks we got really hit the spot. Not to mention - they have great ranch!! Super cute decorations & vibe inside.

Candlelight concerts - Queen They offered candlelight, string quartet, & Queen. That is exactly what we got. Two of the quartet's English was so heavily accented, I had no idea what they were saying. An hour was more than enough. It left a sour taste in my mouth that the musicians had a tip jar outside the performance area. Two tickets were at least $80 - $176. The hotel's performance bar had Diet Coke for $5 in a glass tumbler, not a bottle. Beer was being sold in a bottle. Water was free by the cup.

I recently stayed here for a night while visiting Pittsburgh. The hotel is beautiful from the outside from the inside is where the issues begin. It is in desperate need of a remodel. the foundation of a once beautiful space with sweeping chandeliers in French windows is present, however, everything from the paint, the drapes and the carpet is it in the state of disrepair. Parking is also a huge issue as aside from $55 a day valet parking the hotel does not offer any on-site parking. There's a dingy garage across the street that you can use, again with no In-N-Out privileges. the rooms are at the level of a best Western, not very clean, and the bed in the room 1144 was not comfortable and sinking in the middle. The building is historic and I found it. A little disappointing that none of the staff I talk to could relate any of the history of the building to me. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Stunning and luxurious hotel!! So historic. Probably one of my favorite hotels in Pittsburgh. Beautiful. Definitely worth to stay a night or just to visit. They have wonderful bars too and currently have a Christmas pop up bar

Absolutely disgusting to see blood stains like this.

First time staying at an Omni hotel--and easily the worst hotel experience I've had. Slippers took 1-2 hours to arrive after requesting them, and there were blood stains on the bed. Completely unacceptable and damaging to the Omni brand.

Haven't been since they were recovering from Covid. Has room service been reinstated? Is there Valet parking available and if so what hours? Hours of Doorman? Need to check in late and need it to be stress free. Thank you!

I checked in late and staff was present with no issues. No valet and doorman not visible. Bar was open until 2 am and rooms are nice all and all good stay.

I stayed here one night because I thought the trendy Bloomfield neighborhood would provide a nice change-of-pace from the more established downtown area. I was also planning to drive to upstate New York and thought this would be a convenient location for a faster getaway. Well, a sudden winter snowstorm forced me to cancel the side trip to New York, and I ended up spending very little time exploring Bloomfield because I took a long nap in my room after a sleepless night in the previous hotel. Even though it was bordering on pointless to shift to this hotel, I still enjoyed the studio I reserved for $152. There was a comfortable king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a corner sofa, and a 360-degree swivel flatscreen TV. It was a lot of amenities I didn't need, but hey, it was freezing cold, so the apartment set-up made it feel cozy. One other advantage was a sizable lot to park my rental SUV. Even though they offered a happy hour and continental breakfast, I skipped both. Instead I braved the cold and just strolled on Baum to find a decent greasy spoon for dinner and a quiet gay bar for a drink. Not a bad stay, and I'd consider a return to explore Bloomfield. The lobby area was really pretty and so much larger than it appears from outside. Free breakfast! The pool was nice and heated. We had it to ourselves both times we went in it during our stay. The hotel is located is a great area. Cons: It seems like the furniture was poor quality. Multiple times during the stay there was a panel that kept falling off the table in the kitchen area. The parking is pricey. I absolutely hate paying for parking. I wish this came with the hotel stay as it was also already priced on the higher end. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I would probably pick a day that didn't fall on a holiday weekend for a less expensive stay.

This past weekend (checking in Friday, June 12; checking out Sunday, June 14) was the end. When I checked in, another guest was at the front desk requesting a fan. The person checking me in seemed involved with that, so they didn't seem concerned with filling me in. It turned out, however, that the air-conditioning was broken for the entire hotel. After around a half-hour, I really started to notice the heat and humidity in my room. My wife was arriving later (after a difficult air-travel day), so I went back to the front counter to inquire about the AC. This time, there was one couple checking in with the person I had spoken to. and that couple was given extensive detail about the AC issue. When it was my turn, I noted that I had just checked in and got none of that detail. She told me then that there was no way of knowing when the AC would be fixed, but if it wasn't fixed by 6 p.m., there would be a discount; or, if we chose to leave, there would be no charge. Something, at least. A little while later, the AC kicked on. Excellent! I set the AC as low as possible to cool things off. The AC was actually set to 62 degrees from Friday evening to Sunday morning. Despite that, the coolest it got was 68 degrees on Sunday morning. Midway through the day on Saturday afternoon, it was around 77 as we were trying to get dressed for a wedding. (There were actually two wedding parties staying at the hotel for the weekend, all dealing with poor AC at a supposedly "luxury" hotel). We called back to the front desk about 1 p.m. Saturday, and they expressed shock that our room was not cooler because the AC had been fixed. A few minutes after our call, the room began to cool to a reasonable temp (though, again, never anywhere near the actual temp it was set to). My wife decided the hotel was intentionally turning off the AC to try to save money. I decided that they weren't being intentionally malevolent, but rather they were just inept. Either way, the hotel absolutely failed to live up to what it had once been. We won't be recommending or returning again. Also of note: - The hotel website notes its Spirits and Tales restaurant is open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. But don't be fooled into thinking that means you can order lunch on Saturday; they only have their brunch menu (which is almost identical to their breakfast menu. The salads and sandwiches on their lunch menu are not available.) That said, at least we could get into the restaurant this time. On a previous stay, we arrived to discover the entire restaurant and bar had been booked by another party, so we had to go elsewhere for a drink. - The hotel's other restaurant, Cork and Crust, is also not open for lunch on Saturday or Sunday. So if you do want lunch on the weekend, don't expect to get it at this hotel. (The pizza I purchased Friday night was fine; I wasn't a big fan of the non-traditional Margherita pizza (with pesto and slices of garlic), but I'm picky about pizza.) - The carpet in our room was fraying. The mini-bar refrigerator was empty. - Apparently, the hotel was used as an overflow space for students from the University of Pittsburgh in recent times. That may explain why things are a little worn. But the idea that I'm paying luxury hotel prices for a glorified dormitory is a little much for me. The one positive is the man working the desk downstairs at the Lower Lobby. He's been there for a number of years, and he always remembers my wife and I (even if it's been a while since we were last there). He's kind, friendly, and helpful. The parking valets are always fast and friendly too, but the main guy at the desk really does an excellent job.
