There's always a wide variety of items from tools, furniture cabinet, flooring, and many other things I available for purchase a lot of times especially on days where they're running a really good sale. The fact that they run sales on items that are already discounted makes me come back and the quality of the good so you are inspected before being put on the floor so you don't have to wonder if it works or not. But if you're buying something electrical, you can always check to make sure before you buy which I appreciate.

My family and I have tried out a variety of Christmas tree farms within driving distance of…read morenorthern Virginia over the years and this one has been our favorite for about five years running. The staff are incredibly pleasant, the prices are quite fair, and we have been happy with the trees we've cut here. It's a bit of a drive for those near DC, though it is absolutely worth the trip if cutting down a tree is part of your Christmas traditions. We came here shortly after Thanksgiving to cut a tree and found plenty of parking in their private lot. After consulting their "tree map", we determined there were about four spots where you could find White Pines, though only two that had ones taller than 6 feet. We grabbed one of their transport wagons (no hay rides here, sadly) and walked out to the indicated spots. The selection was admittedly pretty limited despite being relatively early in the season, though we did find three trees we really liked and ultimately chose the one with the best branches. While we were happy with what we found, it might be difficult for those coming later this season, and there will likely only be one area with suitable trees for us next year. Guess the lesson is that the early bird gets the tree! Once we cut it down and carted it back to the checkout area, one of the attendants came over to greet us and take the tree to the baler for us. Less than a minute later, we had a fully-baled tree and had finished paying ($60 for a 6ft tree, not too bad these days). We stopped by the gift shop as well and enjoyed some of their complimentary hot cider and purchased a few decorative items they had on sale which were all fairly-priced. We set up our tree when we got home and it's still quite beautiful as I write this review. If you need a blue spruce, a smaller tree, or are coming early in the season, this farm will suit you well. However, if you are looking for a taller white pine like we were, you may find your options limited. We hope they keep up the planting so this farm will still be around for years to come! Overall: 4.0 stars ---- Pros: - Great prices for healthy trees! - Very pleasant and helpful staff make this an enjoyable experience. - Nicely decorated for the season. - Free hot cider and reasonably-priced decor in their gift shop. Cons: - Their tree selection was running a bit thin when we visited, though they do appear to still be planting new trees so hopefully they will have what you need when you need it. - No hay ride or other activities for kids due to the small-ish size of the farm, so don't expect youngsters to stay entertained for too long.
