Will's is a convenient place to go if you live close by or have to drive down W. Charlotte Ave. The problem isn't the service there, it's all of the shady ass characters you run in to. It doesn't matter what time of the day or evening, there's always something shady going on. People aren't even discreet about it. I've literally heard someone yell out in the line, I got a blunt, anyone wanna smoke it with me? Needless to say, there were quite a few takers, so when she decided on one the line kept moving. The closest option with the most reasonable gas prices in the Mt. Holly area. Thankfully, the storm flooded the store because it was in desperate need of being completely washed down. Hot foods like hot dogs, popcorn and boiled peanuts are the norm. Health score when last checked was a 95.8. The inspector must have come on a day where they weren't smoking inside. i am a regular in this store that is why i hate to leave this review!! i love this store i come in quite often i am always comfy and love the staff but i hate coming in and hearing the staff talk about the owner and managers like they are horrible people, if they are so horrible to you why are you still their and why are they allowing you to stay their when you are telling customers the store is being run poorly. the one incident i am talking about was i came in and the bigger girl who works their i am pretty sure her name was Tiffany was telling a customer and myself that the manager gives herself more hours than needed. she also was saying to us that Will (the owner) never checks in on things and doesn't know how to choose his staff (funny shes a staff member and said that) she was just steady talking about the staff she works with and it made me feel very uncomfortable. that is not very professional. i just think something should be said cause wills is a nice family store and should not be made out to be a poorly run place especially by the staff. read more
