Said majority is labor and to be honest hed wait to fix till something else is wrong and they are already in the module. Ok great. Hes highly recomended. Well than driving down hwy car shuts off, like i said months later. Every light, heat ect...off but still drives. Luckily finished drive to work, its a safety mechanism on the car, to work till you shut it off. Called nate. He picked up car by tow. Couldnt get to it right away, totally fine, but no communication till i call him, a few days later. Said he bad people with apointments he didnt get to it for awhile again would have been just fine if he said that. He said it had a mouse, not alternator like he thought. He needed to go wire by wire to find damage. No damage found, again no communication. I call him again few days later and now its not a mouse but the module in back now all of a sudden giving a code and as long as hes back there he might as well fix the side mirror part. Hes stopping for a few days and waiting for the part to arrive friday, hopefully. No communication. Called him tuesday. He said part just got in monday and they are right than working on it. Ok great. Get call, part only fixed "a few of the codes". Started once but doesnt even run or start. So hes gotta keep looking wire by wire. I talk to my husband. We are getting nervous and decide to go to a dealership as he quoted me $1,200 if the part worked! It didnt! And we are done with this keep searching, for weeks! I called him wednesday. He says dealer wouldnt give me anything as is, as i told him the dealership told me they'd come get it and i need to cut my losses. He said he had my car tore aprt fixing a sensor that is giving a code now. And if he stopped now he couldnt charge me for hours worked. I said no i dont want anything else fixed. Never did i give ok to fix a sensor. And i said weve put enough money and time into it and its been 2 weeks. We have to borrow a car. He argued it wasnt 2 weeks. Ok sorry a week and 6 days with no end in site as he has no clue. Dealer came and got car friday. They call us the next week, they did tell us it would take a few days to get in. Communication! They have it in shop. A few hours later i get a call. The module did not need replaced and is actually bringing up a code! AND the part he said hed fix while he was in there, he didnt fix! There is no mouse, he assumed by very few droppings and it is the side mirror problem that shut my car off and essentially crashed it. So once he tells me he could advise me to not fix it and the next time hes got it tore apart and didnt fix the part that needed fixed and kept "searching". I tell dealership that i was told it was ok to not fix it at the time, a couple months ago or so. She says no way! Its a computer issue. Not mechanical so if the computer cant communicate completely over a period of time it will, or can, shut off...as it did in my situation. Dealer calls this person to question why he says that, he says, as he said to me when i reached out to him, that he has a hand fill of cars with the same issue in his lot and none of them shut down! $1,100 for nothing! $350ish for 1 part. Rest labor. He should have said i needed to take it to a dealer when he realized he had no clue. Not convince me to go wire by wire charging hourly as i hated the inconvience of another tow fee and more $. He even argued when i tell him id like to move it but did say he cant tell me what to do though. Another $1,200 to fix the part that actually needed fixed, and fixing what was done wrong, and a few days.. and we were good to go. Very unprofessional. Bad experience. Im sure for both of us. Only thing hed admit is the code for the back module is because its still not fully working and thats $100 of the $1200 quote from dealership to finish setting it up. Didnt tell me that part.

Recently had my vehicle serviced by moline transmission. This all started when I had called them…read moreand wanted to get information on replacing a slave cylinder on my vehicle. I would provide the parts and everything needed to install on the vehicle. I was quoted 7hours since the transmission needed to be removed to install a new slave cylinder. I called on October 27th and they stated they had about a week worth of work to complete before they would be able to pick up additional jobs. I had no problem with this as I decided to make the appointment for November 13th (17days from appointment call). Time comes to have my vehicle towed and it's dropped off early morning Monday November 13th. I figured I'd give them time and let them work to complete the job. Friday November 17th comes and I hadn't heard anything from them so I call and receive an update. Moline transmission stated they had a couple call ins during the week and they hadn't touched my car. Not a horrible issue but I figured they had plenty of time to finish. I understand things happen. Following week of November 20th, they begin the work. Once again I figure 7hrs at a leisure pace the job should be done right in time for me to have the car before Thursday thanksgiving. I decide to call on Wednesday afternoon and ask for an update. Moline transmission stated they're tidying everything up and they're doing their best to have it done by close of business day 5pm as they are closed for thanksgiving. 5pm comes around and I never hear anything. At this point I figure I'll go to the shop on Friday to see what the delay is. I go to shop Friday morning and they have a sign saying they are closed both Thursday and Friday as well as the weekend as they only work Monday-Friday. At this point I'm disappointed, I believed I could have a reputable shop complete the work in a timely manner as I would have believed they had sufficient time. (Let it be noted there was a hiccup in parts provided yet that was quickly resolved in less than 1hr) I was told because of this they needed to move on to another vehicle and put my car on hold. Monday November 27th I call again for an update and they once again state they're still working on the car and should have it done today. More time passes on and no call. Finally, Wednesday November 29th I am frustrated because I haven't received my car , I was told 2 times on separate days they should have the car done by end of business but yet they continued to work on it. The update for today was they are letting it sit as it has been bled and will be test driven later in the day to ensure the work was done properly. The car had been sitting at the shop since November 13th and the job was finally completed November 29th. I had my car in storage and placed the vehicle back on full coverage insurance because it was going to be driven publicly again. Due to the excessive length of time it was being worked on I felt as if I needed to place the vehicle back on storage insurance as it seemed that's what I was paying for. I gave moline transmission a 17day notice of my car being dropped off. They had the car for 16/17 days from drop off. The job was quoted 7hrs, moline transmission stated they worked on the car much longer than 7hrs and the job wasn't going the way they would have liked but only were going to charge me the 7hrs. I believe they understood this isn't the service they want to provide. In the end the job itself was completed well as my car returned to proper function. The timeliness to complete my car was very poor. If you are able to be without your car for over half a month then they'll work with you. If you have a timeline seek other options. This was my experience and I understand others have better/worse experiences.

Fast forward, I picked up my vehicle expecting the issue to be resolved, the next work week I went to start my car and it immediately was overheating. The coolant was full and I've never had this issue before so it was obviously an error on their part as this was my first time handling the car since pickup. I called about the issue they demanded I have it towed to them on my own dollar and even if they found out the issue was due to them they would not cover towing. The lady on the phone even went as far to blame me for the issue. Very disappointed with the service at this point I decided to just bite the bullet and cover the towing in hopes of them fixing the issue they caused free of charge vs another business that would surely charge me as they did not service the car originally. Unfortunately that was not the case they continued to blame me for the new overheating issue while coolant was full on me and insisted on charging me again for their mistake. This business was extremely unprofessional from the receptionist to the service providers, I would highly recommend spending your hard earned $$ at a more understandable and less money hungry small business!!

Even let me borrow a loaner car because I was in a jam. Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced in any genre of service. They also warned me of some other potential mechanical issues that may be developing, but in no way tried to force other repairs on me...said it could wait until I got back home. Price for the new water pump was under what I should have paid. I even saw the staff hugging another lady on my way out the door due to her being so thankful for these guys. Due to a shortage of parts and inventory due to the COVID fallout, I had to be put on an allocation list with a fully refundable $500 deposit. Jeff explained exactly how it worked and would keep me up to date monthly as to how things were going. Jeff did as he said he would. He contacted me monthly to let me know where I was on the allocation list. The one thing I appreciated was that Jeff did not try to push another model on me just to make the sale. After about five months, I received my first call from Jeff letting me know that they had an allocation of the model I wanted but the car did not have the exact extra's I wanted. Over the next two months, I would receive three more calls for new allocations and that I was finally #1 on the list for the model I requested. I still passed because I had already waited this long so I might as well wait until the vehicle I specifically wanted was available. In month eight, I received the call that the exact car I wanted with all of the correct upgrades was available and I was given a build date. Three weeks after the build date, the car was at the dealership. I showed up a few days later to pick it up. Jeff met me and we went through all of the necessary details along with a test drive of the vehicle in question. After the test drive, I met with the financial officer and negotiated my loan in addition to just a few optional upsells options. Tip..... the extended warranty is negotiable. Soon after I met with Jeff again and I was on my way home with my new car. All of the staff I came across while I was there were nice and accommodating. Nobody is pushy. The experience was excellent and should I ever buy a new Toyota again, I will definitely come to this dealership first.
