They called me and said they wanted to take the oil pan off to make sure, but if they were wrong, they would pay for it. This wasted two days. It was a timing component as I told them; I used my stethoscope to hear it. They wasted time. Then they told me they ordered the wrong parts and would charge me $200 more because the part kit was more expensive. Then this last week, I lost two days because their employees called off. So I had to wait even longer. They also charged me for a serpentine belt, which I replaced a year or two ago and should have been fine. I did not consent to this. I told them it was recently replaced and had a warranty. My original price was under $1,500. Now they're charging me $1,900. They gave me a miniscule discount, but it should have been the original price, not the discounted price they tried to give me at $1,800. They were nice in person, but they lack customer service skills. Instead of excuses, how about more customer service if you want any customers at all? As a minor inconvenience, they also forgot to put my oil sticker in the window.

They didn't call and tell me the price had changed until the fix was done. They also called at 4:30 PM to tell me the car was ready and that if I payed by card they would add a 2.5% fee. So I had less than half an hour and no car to try to somehow get over $900 in cash or pay an extra $25. Really felt like they were trying to make a buck there. If they had told me when I called to make the appointment or two days later, when I dropped it off, I wouldn't have batted an eye. But to do it with so little time was really irritating. I also told them that I don't use my air conditioner and wasn't worried that it wasn't working when they said they found it was out of Freon. They filled it with Freon anyway and charged me $40 for it. I won't be back.
