The place looks well maintained, with benches & gazebo. No parking in the park but we found empty spots on the streets. Lots of what looks like locals are walking their dogs. They don't look friendly, maybe they could tell we are not from there. I assume they are more strict during the warmer months. So if you are not from westchester like us, i recommend visiting in the winter or maybe fall.

My church held its annual family day cookout on a beautiful Saturday morning and afternoon. The park ingress and egress demand good bus drivers at a few tight corners within and just outside the park. Tibbetts has plenty of parking to accommodate a large number of visitors and the bathhouse is as much a draw as the rest of the park. The pool features a few sections with different tiers outside the pool for lounging and families gathering. It's not all concrete, rather many of the lounge areas are covered in AstroTurf, which makes for a more relaxed and comfortable surface upon which to lay towels and blankets. The restrooms are kept clean, but they have a rather heavy duty check-in for access to the bathhouse. They are controlled by park employees and park police. The pool access fee is $12pp for non-Yonkers residents, even if you think you have a different understanding for group access. Many of our church members were turned away, unless they paid the individual fee. The park employees regularly removed the trash in the vicinity of our family day outing and wherever other groups gathered. They are setup well to handle large groups at Tibbetts Brooks Park. 3.8 stars!

His vision was of a theatrical, magnificent landscape blending Indo-Persian, ancient Greek, Roman, and Italian Renaissance designs. When I was last here in 2013, the Untermyer gardens looked sadly desolate and neglected. Today, the gardens have been restored to their true remarkable glory thanks 100% to generous donations in the millions. We could not have chosen a more perfect day to visit the celebrated historical Untermyer Gardens overlooking the Hudson on this glorious Labor Day Monday. I took many photos which do not do justice to the gorgeous scope and details of the beautiful manicured 43 acres. ***Open 7AM to 7PM - seasonally.*** There's more information on their website and QR codes at the entrance with rules to respect the environment. Admission is completely free, although donations are accepted to help preserve this incredible place--which is amazing considering how well maintained it is. It's the perfect destination to spend about two hours, whether you want to enjoy a peaceful stroll, take plenty of photos, or do a little of both. The breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Palisades make the visit even more memorable. There's also plenty of free parking, which makes getting there easy. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that it can get fairly crowded on beautiful weekends, but it's absolutely worth visiting and returning to throughout the year.

Open to non residents & we got to pay 10bucks only which is worth it. Love the water views, trails & the serene atmosphere of this park. It has a small beach for sunbathing too. Saw a group paddle boarding & kayaking . I inquired & the lady said 40 bucks for an hour in the water. We are sure to come back!

Additionally, it's kept more private, but not there's not tons of eateries so you have to bring your own food, but the bathrooms are amazing. Kept beautifully clean with changing rooms galore. It's an easy walk to the beach plenty of parking outside and people do go to the park outside, so it's wonderful there as well. Life preserves are given freely to those who cannot swim and encouraged, which is totally a plus as well. We sat there on the beach, waiting for the tide to come in. Had our food played some games with their hours and everyone was pleasant and nice too that came around. I actually would like to do this next year. I'm sorry I found out about this place this year at the end of the summer.
