Hubby & I looking for a spot to have our weekend walks along the water & he found this one. Beautiful views of the river, tranquil & not crowded at all. The place looks well maintained, with benches & gazebo. No parking in the park but we found empty spots on the streets. Lots of what looks like locals are walking their dogs. They don't look friendly, maybe they could tell we are not from there. I assume they are more strict during the warmer months. So if you are not from westchester like us, i recommend visiting in the winter or maybe fall. read more

Wow! How lucky are the locals who live within walking distance of Larchmont Manor Park & Beach. It is beautiful and offers gorgeous views. I visited during a recent trip to Westchester County. I parked nearby and walked over. This is a private park and there isn't public parking for visitors. Within the park is a yacht club. Nice paths where you can walk and take in views of the water. Also lots of benches where you can sit and rest. read more

Often here for a stroll or just to relax and sit in one of the gazebos. The park is on the Sound with views looking south of sail boats and Port Washington in the distance. Peaceful and tranquil. The town did a great job of refreshing the paths and blending the stone and masonry to compliment nature. read more

The views are nice but the reviews here are a little over the top. It's just a regular ordinary park. Grass wasn't manicured that well, paths are just normal and the people are a bit pretentious. The negatives: We literally got a stern talking to for having a bag of crackers. Apparently there's no eating allowed in the park. Additionally you're not allowed to sit on the grass (it wasn't grass it was moss where we were). Also it's very small compared to many other parks in the area. read more

Beautiful on summer nights, lovely atmosphere and view of the Sound and the boats. The Gazebo is a lovely place. When you daydream while you see the full moon, consider how Einstein used to gaze at that same moon. Pretty cool. Ridiculous monitoring of sitting on the grass just like one of the previous comments mention. Pedestrian Karens will literally walk up to you and tell u there is no sitting on the grass. I had a women even comment "security still hasn't come around?" after she passively aggressively told me to read the park rules. Even the men in the neighborhood will stand next to you trying to intimidate you to get up and leave, while looking around for security. Don't call it a PARK if we can't even sit on the grass; it's not like it's immaculately kept grass in the fist place. Give me a break Larchmont. What a joke. read more

Great place to walk near the water for sunset and to see the boats on the dock! You can also walk your dog here or have a picnic with friends or family. There are several gazebos you can sit and fish or just have a meal. read more

I was staying nearby visiting NY and I came across this beautiful park/beach. There were plenty of free side street parking. A part of this beach is private for members. I wish there was a public beach with sand too but I only saw one marked as private. There is a nice walking path to a gazebo overlooking the waters. All in all, a nice place to visit and chill while watching the water and many boats. read more

If you are local, and never been to Larchmont Manor Park & Beach, you should come here. If yo are not local, come anyway. The park is gorgeous. The mix of the ocean and the rocks is something I can stare at for hours. No need to wait to wait for the spring or summer, beauty is there all the time. Any season. Simply a beautiful place. But if you can, sunset. The colors will amaze you. So far for the good part which is the park. The down side: Seems like every year they add more and more restrictions and rules that prevent from the visitors to fully enjoy it. I mean I get rules and restrictions to protect the place. But I have an idea for you who make the rules: Close the park, I am sure it will save the place... Amazing place. Worth coming to even from far away. read more

Pretty area but if you're not a local don't bother going. (Unless being around a bunch of stuck up snobs is your thing) And park "security" are a bunch of jerks as well. Took my father who is recovering from a stroke to enjoy the water and a sandwich on a bench away from the main walk way and you would think we set the place on fire the way we were glared at and approached by security. I'm sure this review won't make a difference as the locals probably don't want outsiders in the area anyway but thought the rudeness and hostility should be called out. read more

Amazing place. I have great memories of this place as I used to go there all the time in the summer (probably everyday!) I highly recommend. However, the last time I went to the beach part (I go to the park for a walk sometimes) was in 2013, so I am not sure if they changed much. read more

Incredible place and practically unknown to most people. Hope it stays that way. Stunning views of the sound, gazebos with panoramic water views, a yacht club and a neighborhood opulence that's unparalleled. As for the moron that left a negative review because they attempted to picnic and blamed "whiteness"...unbelievable. IGNORE IT. Signs at the entrance, online and throughout the park. I've been coming here for 25+ years and NEVER saw a person even attempt to picnic. Enjoy Harbor Park. As soon as we approached to the park, a security told me that we're not allowed to eat at the park. Then we sat down on the rock and we didn't eat or drink at all and wanted to enjoy the beautiful view. However again the security approached us and he was very mean and nasty to us. There're other people who were drinking but he kept warning us. I don't know why. Then he didn't wear a mask and I asked him to wear a mask but he said he can wear a mask whenever he wants. Also he used F words and threatened us that "I can punch you". It was unacceptable and we left there. It was very disappointing even though the view was very nice but the security ruined our time. read more

A wonderful time. Went there for a a little while to snap some photos on a Saturday afternoon. Getting there was a cinch. Parking was a bit of a pain. According to the website, the park is privately owned collectively by the residents of Larchmont, and there are a few rules to be followed. There was nothing too restrictive. Since there is no lot, parking is on the residential streets which have some limitations. On a nice Saturday afternoon, I found legal street parking about 4 blocks away or so, which isnt bad at all. The views there are spectacular. The park is extremely well kept. Some of the parks of Westchester County require a fee or proof of residency, but not this one. This park is truly a great gift by the people of the town. I recommend all to visit to take in the lovely views...though be sure to follow the rules :) read more

As many others mentioned beautiful park but the security who are unmarked cars and plane clothes are very aggressive - it can be confusing and frightening when they approach. Our girls were sitting on half folded blanket in front of a bench I was on with the baby because the ground was cold. Not even a picnic of any kind. Apparently no blankets or towels of any kind can be on the floor. Seems bizarre for a park. Security was aggressive and asks you to leave. I love the view but will never go back. read more

I was a party of four, I ordered the French onion soup for an appetizer, the cheese was crispy and the soup was tasty. I Had the lamb chop special for dinner which was cooked exactly the way I ordered them, they were sourced over beans with spinach. The service was as expected, food was delivered promptly. Food was good. I ordered a cappuccino and chocolate ice cream for desert. The cappuccino was good, I definitely recommend getting one. The only downfall was there was a lot of fish dishes on the menu. Overall a nice experience and I would return for dinner. read more

What a lovely place to watch the fourth of July fireworks! It was easy to find a good spot on the grass to listen to the music under the trees and still see the barge where the fireworks launch from through the clearing on the beach side. The works themselves were only 10-15 minutes and nice, but not too extravagant. A friend was disappointed, but I liked it. Parking can be a bit tricky, but if you don't mind walking a bit you'll definitely find something. The crowd was a mix of ages and races, with people saying hello to their neighbors. Even the Mayor was walking around saying hello to people. Really enjoyed it here. Good work, Larchmont! read more

Perfect place for a picnic!(one would imagine) shortly after we set up our blanketed picnic with meat, cheese, some seltzers and our small pup we were alerted by a security guard. NO BLANKETS & NO FOOD. I kindly asked, "why no blankets?" His response "M'am, I don't make the rules." Well sir, this is your job--know why the rules are made. A. The blanket was half on a rock, we were not disturbing the(yellow unkempt)grass B. What kind of park does not allow blankets? C. This park screamed WHITENESS. be diverse, be accepting of young folk, re evaluate your park "rules". Gorgeous park! Sat by a pretty gazebo near a rocky area looking over the harbor. So relaxing and smells like the beach in Maine. Was there on a weekday morning so there weren't too many people around, a few runners and bikers. I'm not a member of the beach but it looks good for kids. Not positive I parked in a legal spot but no ticket! Maybe next time I'll try to scope out the parking better. read more

Best Place in the world. The park is beautiful. (Follow the rules or you will be booted out by park police) The beach is a lot of fun. I went there for a visit since I cannot join since I do not live in the 10538 zip code. My friend is a member and told me her daughter learned to swim in less then a week! And in the sound. Wow! I heard you can see the fireworks there on the 4th of July and Friday nights can be a lot of fun for families. I got to make it over there one Friday this coming summer. read more
