The MD VIP membership nearly doubled with no notice from $2,400 a year to over $4,000...for, as I said, nothing more than to be a part of the club. His unpleasant front desk staff let me know he was the only one in the practice doubling his rates and that many of his patients were as upset with this. So on principle alone, we are both starting out the new year in search of new doctors. Good doctor, very disappointing that he is weeding out patients based on financial status. Not sure where that sentiment is in the Hippocratic Oath but...whatever. Surprised he turned out to be so Trumpy.

We were greeted and welcomed into the facility. The doc called us back we'll before our time. The staff were very thorough and polite. Dr Shah is a very skilled surgeon and above all a warm human being. A "Mench". He has done everything possible to make this surgery a full success with the most minimal after effects. I had no leaking problems what so ever. The healing went smoothly and after 2 weeks I felt the same as before the surgery. If not for wife - who reminded me to take it easy and to watch myself - I could have resumed all my activities. After 7 weeks my PSA has shown less than 0.1 and once I had the follow up with Dr Shah - I was assured of what has been done and how to continue to make my healing a complete success.
