The caller had a thick accent and I asked where she was calling from, she would only say she was working remotely. I point blank asked her if she was in India, she said "yes". I asked her if she had my date of birth, she had my correct date of birth. The terrible part. The urgent care I visited last year, Northlake Urgent Care, located at 4060 Lavista Road is also SnapCare Clinic. This business has sent my personal information overseas to a call center in India. My name, address, social security number, date of birth, and phone number are all being traded in a foreign country known for identity fraud and scam calls. Now they are trading my personal information amongst themselves. Five minutes after I began to write this review, my wife called me and told me she had received the same call from the same person. She visited that same location before I visited. The only reason I gave a one star rating is because there is not a rating below one star. DO NOT do business with these people. They are providing your personal information to foreign entities that can do anything they wish with it, without consequence.

I wanted a doctor who was located near my home and whose practice wasn't excessively large. I discovered Dr. Lee on the list provided by my insurance company. After checking her online info I called to schedule my appointment. On Friday I arrived a few minutes with the anticipation that I'd have to complete new patient paperwork. Dr. Lee is located off Wesley Chapel on Snapfinger. Outside the office is rather unassuming and there was plenty of parking within a few steps of her door. I was greeted by the receptionist/front office person.. Linda. Then I spent a few minutes completing my paperwork. Afterwards my vitals were taken in an examination room and Dr. Lee came in for my appointment. Our visit was great! Really personable and professional. I felt comfortable in sharing my concerns and Dr. Lee offered a few treatment options. Although I don't see a primary physician often, I'm please with my selection.

However, the front office staff and office policies have not been a good experience. I recently moved out of state and attempted to access my records via the patient portal and could not access them. Per an email request, I received a phone call saying I could complete a form for my new physician (I've already done this) and if I wanted my records I could PAY A FEE for them to be provided via CD. I have two overwhelming concerns: 1) I and/or my insurance company have paid through the nose for medical care for the past 8 years; and 2) who uses CDs anymore-- new computers don't come with a CD drive! What century are you in? Everything is cloud-based now and precisely why I should be able to access my records via the portal. As an example, I can access my Emory and Mayo Clinic records today (some are over 2 decades old and others over a decade old). This is a terrible business practice and nothing but a MONEY MAKER for this practice. I'm hugely disappointed in this nonsensical practice. And, I would also be concerned about a medical office SNAIL MAILING private, medical records. Isn't this a HIPAA privacy concern?

They rarely return phone calls. Physician: Dr. Waters no longer sees my family member, she passed my family member off to a Nurse Practitioner, the NP is professional and friendly and so far I haven't had any issues with her care, but she isn't a MD. Office: Office is not too small and nothing special. The last time I went inside the television was off? I'm not sure if they had enough money to purchase Netflix, Hulu or Cable? Parking: Parking area is sufficient, but the office has moved into an area that is not as nice as her previous office. Additional: Dr. Water's office nickels and dimes the patients now. I'm not sure if it's because she's hurting financially (see TV comment above) or what the reason is, but my family member went to a scheduled appointment and asked them to fill out a form for work; they wanted to charge an extra $25 fee to fill out a paper for her job. That should be part of the office visit. I consider that unacceptable and very poor customer service. This medical office has gone from being one of the best in Atlanta to being just like all the others, not very good. Summary: Overall, because it's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone or get return phone calls, because they want to nickel and dime you for every single thing and because they have to send patients out for many things now, I would definitely not suggest Dr. Waters anymore. Perhaps if she addresses these problems and returns to the way she did business before I would change my review, but as of now I can't recommend her to anyone. Pros: 1. Let me just say thank God they didn't have the "you-can't-see-a- different-physician-in-our-practice" policy like another medical practice I used to go to. Both Dr Moore-Waters and Dr. D'Souza are great doctors, hands down!! Absolutely no complaints there. Very thorough, friendly and very informative. It's hard to find great physicians like them these days. Now here comes the minor negative.....and I really mean minor negative.... No x-ray facility so if you needed a chest or spinal x-ray, you'd have to trek to Dekalb Medical Center. The clerical staff seemed absent minded at times. I'd call to ask a question and get transferred around sometimes. It wasn't a constant thing but it certainly happened here and there and was frustrating. Now here is why I've taken a one star deduction. I called to make an appointment last month and not only was I informed Dr. D'Souza was no longer with the practice but I was also informed the practice had moved to Tucker, GA. I was shocked because I wasn't notified about any of this and really felt left out in the cold. At this point I feel like I'm at a crossroads. Tucker is not terribly far but I feel like the carpet has been pulled out from under me. I heard about Dr. Owen at Whole Family Medicine from a coworker who had been through the same ordeal as I. She said Dr. Owen was the one who pinpointed the issue and set her onto a road of recovery. With some hope that I scraped from the bottom of the barrel, in regards to doctors, I went to see Dr. Owen. I wept on the sofa in her office and laid it all out there. She took a deep breath and began that day to set me on my road to recovery! I'm feeling better every day under her care. She understands my apprehensions with western medicine and works around that. She finds the treatments that I am comfortable doing. She has a very optimistic attitude and a matter of fact way about her that makes me feel safe. But... personality aside (I've had several personality plus doctors who had no clue about healing people) Dr. Owen KNOWS HER STUFF! And...if she doesn't know something she will figure it out. She is open to all sorts of treatments and doesn't judge or cringe when a patient brings in their own idea of treatment. Like she said the first time I met her, " If the crud on the bottom of a pond heals you and makes you feel better, then take the crud off the bottom of the pond!!! I don't need to know how it works but that it works!" She doesn't judge her patients. She actually has compassion for them and is curious about these treatments we want to try. I know. I'm one of them. There is a difference between a doctor who practices medicine and a doctor who practices healing. She is the latter. I'm thankful every day for this woman.

I called today to try to schedule a new patient in October because that's when she starts taking new appointments. They were no help. They said I had to call back in October to set up an appointment. If you know you'll start taking appointments in October, why in the hell can't I book an appointment today? Dr. Welch may be a great physician, but her staff is trash.

Wait time is ALWAYS ridiculous. Today I have waited over an HOUR AND A HALF just in the wait room alone! Who knows how long they will leaving sitting in the exam room.
