Got home and walked around inspecting my new tires and noticed that they had removed the custom valve stems replacing them with what looks like some old junk, I called the manager of the store and she told me that they dont replace those kind of valves, (basically calling me a liar), then she invited me to bring it back that they would replace the stems with some shiny ones...that smacks of arrogance. I have not started my vehicle for a few days went out to use it today and noticed oil stains on the garage floor never had trouble with leaks before but there it was oil leaking. Now I have to go to another repair shop to have it looked over...chaachhiinggg...Find somewhere else to do your business...hell I don't know if the u-joints were greased on the drive line. In closing it doesn't seem to bother the management that they have thieves and liars working for them...

They ended up doing an inspection on Her whole vehicle quoted her 9,000.00 for everything that needed fixed and then charged her 268.00 for the inspection but didn't change her oil, didnt check her spark plugs didn't look at her brakes. They just charged her 268.00 to quote her 9000.00 worth of things that needed fixed. And did nothing else. DO NOT send anyone into them that are not mechanic savvy in the slightest. They will take advantage of them!

Larry (father) and Cody (son) are the owners of Precision Automotive of Twin Falls, Idaho. I needed a new water pump for my elderly Buick (just a 17 year old car). Cody immediately scheduled for the very next morning for that very important part to be replaced. Other mechanics that I went to said that the wait could be as much as one week. Mind you, a water pump is responsible for cooling the engine with coolant. A faulty water pump could mean that your engine will overheat and cause extensive engine damage. Just for fun, I called to other mechanics and dealerships for price comparisons to get this important car part replaced and installed. Precision Automotive replaced and installed for $70 less than a competing mechanics estimate and a fully $200 less than Rob Green Automotive's estimate.(Yes, Rob Green Automotive said that it would cost $200 more for the work than what I was charged by Precision Automotive. How do they get away with that??) Anyhow, I haven't gotten to the good part yet. Not only did I save a significant amount of money, my car was repaired in way less amount of time than was estimated. They thought that I might not get my car back until about two o'clock that afternoon (which was a reasonable amount of time), but instead I got my car back and repaired by 11:30 that morning. (I had dropped my car off just before 9:00 o'clock that same morning.) You can imagine my astonishment when Larry (the owner) told me that the job had already been completed and the car was ready to be picked up. My jaw dropped in astonishment. I'm used to mechanics saying that the job will be completed at a certain time, but then it is hours before the job is actually completed. I expected the same thing with Precision Automotive, but boy, was I wrong. Also, I had been given a written estimate of the amount for the work to be done. Instead, the amount that I had to pay came in at a full twenty dollars less than the original estimate. My jaw dropped again. This never happens. If anything, the amount due is usually higher than the original estimate. Suffice it to say, I give Precision Automotive of Twin Falls, Idaho a full five-star rating. I would recommend this auto shop to any of my friends or anybody who just needs a good auto mechanic shop to go to in the Magic Valley.

My motorhome broke down 700 miles from home on a 2,200 mile trip in Twin Falls Idaho.I had engine…read moreoil all over the engine compartment. Neil adviced me that it was likely the front main seal of the motor(Toyota 22RE).Neil gave me a cost breakdown of the parts/labor and a brief destription of the procedure required.His day was completley booked so I elected to change out all the parts myself on the side of a parts store parking lot. I was unable to torque the crank bolt down to the required 160 ft lbs as the vehicle is an automatic. I drove back to Palmer's Auto and asked if he could help me torque the bolt down. He paused his work and helped me out with no hint of iritation over me basically wasting his time/money. Upon leaving I asked him for a card so I could leave this review.
