A thrift shop in Wilton Manors which surprisingly is a non-profit. These thrifty shops are so much fun to browse and sometimes I find an addition to my purse collection or a fun vintage gift for a friend. This shop was very organized and each area was on consignment. Each area had completely different merchandise ranging from small porcelain animals to games and vintage clothing. The front room had a Friday happy hour and the back room was a speak easy comedy club.

Last time I visited Wilton Collective I was very surprised to see new items and merchandise. This store does rotate their inventory often, so any visit might not be similar to the last. The staff is super friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. I was surprised to see a large selection of vintage clothing, which is great if you are looking for something special for a costume or just for a special occasion.

Wilton Collective is an eclectic mix of art gallery, art home decor, antiques and objets d'art from a good collection of individual artists on consignment. There's also Wilton Manor's only bike repair shop in the back. You can tell when walking by it is a gay-centric, fabulous spot to step in and browse. The outside wall has a huge mural with a must-stop photo op butterfly for your Instagram post. In a nod to art gallery exhibition openings, every Friday evening they have wine and champagne for customers/patrons dropping by to see what's new. Last weekend I attended their Erotic Art Exhibit special event. It had an array of LGBT artwork for sale, both old and new art. The even had a couple of erotic male models for our viewing pleasure. Perhaps the best thing is that the place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with net proceeds going towards Julian's Fountain of Youth (JFOY) with a mission to help change the lives of LGBT youth. The constantly changing corner window display is already becoming famous for showcasing award-winning youth art creations and other LGBT art and fashion. Truly a show-stopping window, not just window dressing.

They are located in a street mall, which will be destroyed, and in the same location will be two five-story buildings (the City of Oakland Park is approving the construction). So, they will have to move. The place is loaded with old folks' stuff. It seems to me seniors bring a lot of stuff for them to sell. Very small place stuffed with too many things. You barely can walk inside. I do not recommend this place. First, they are unfriendly; second, they are rude; and third, the energy inside is very negative. This place gave me the creeps! Finally, too little space packed with too many things that should be thrown in the garbage. I wish I could give no stars!

We bought a bedroom set, electric fireplace/mantle, assorted chairs and tables. We were looking for Victorian style furniture and they had it. The bedroom set was pre-owned but they promised to get rid of all the scrapes, etc. They did an amazing job! The owner is from NY and a bit brusque at times, but he delivered our furniture when he promised and the pieces all looked great. If you are looking for that style of furniture, this is a good place to check out.
