The Wilton Collective was founded by Julian Cavazos of "Julian's Fountain of Youth (JFOY), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to creating opportunities for LGBTQ+ Youth to reach their full potential through community involvement and experiential learning." The Wilton Collective was previously located across from The Manor but they have relocated into the old Holy Mackerel location in Island City Plaza on 26th St. The large space has an interesting selection of art, jewelry, accessories, clothes, figurines, home goods, and vintage and antique pieces. There is also an event and meeting space that can be rented. They have a Mix & Mingle event at their bar every Friday from 6:30-8PM. I loved the Florida prints, especially the alligators and mermaids and they had my beloved vintage Pyrex dishes. Items ranged from a few dollars to hundreds. The prices I did check seemed reasonable to me. They have such an eclectic mix of beautiful things. I really enjoyed exploring this store. read more

NON-PROFIT THRIFT STORE... Walked by this thrift store and looked interesting from the giant multi-colored butterfly painted on the outside wall and some of the nostalgic items in the front display window. Upon entering we were greeted by the staff and began to excitedly browse the many sections of consignment items, which were mostly vintage or simply unique. My favorite section was the old record player and the custom graphic sneakers. The sections were easy to navigate and prices were clearly marked. Smiled alot during my adventure rummaging through the great STUFF. The aluminum and red wood bar in the center of the store is used on Fridays during a Mix & Mingle with complimentary cocktails from 630pm - 8pm. The back room hosts an LOL Live monthly comedy club which I will have to check out. Every show benefits local charities which is highly commendable. read more

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they definitely deserve a raise! Plus, the spot doubles as an event space with a bar for special events that is pretty cool too. If you're in the area for shopping or pleasure, forget Publix, come visit this local small business spot and show up + show out to support! Service was quick enough. A thrift shop in Wilton Manors which surprisingly is a non-profit. These thrifty shops are so much fun to browse and sometimes I find an addition to my purse collection or a fun vintage gift for a friend. This shop was very organized and each area was on consignment. Each area had completely different merchandise ranging from small porcelain animals to games and vintage clothing. The front room had a Friday happy hour and the back room was a speak easy comedy club. read more

What a great consignment place. Very nice assortment of wares from furniture to jewelry. We have bought furniture, pictures, jewelry and knick knacks. Last time I visited Wilton Collective I was very surprised to see new items and merchandise. This store does rotate their inventory often, so any visit might not be similar to the last. The staff is super friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. Wilton Collective is an eclectic mix of art gallery, art home decor, antiques and objets d'art from a good collection of individual artists on consignment. There's also Wilton Manor's only bike repair shop in the back. You can tell when walking by it is a gay-centric, fabulous spot to step in and browse. The outside wall has a huge mural with a must-stop photo op butterfly for your Instagram post. In a nod to art gallery exhibition openings, every Friday evening they have wine and champagne for customers/patrons dropping by to see what's new. Last weekend I attended their Erotic Art Exhibit special event. It had an array of LGBT artwork for sale, both old and new art. The even had a couple of erotic male models for our viewing pleasure. Perhaps the best thing is that the place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with net proceeds going towards Julian's Fountain of Youth (JFOY) with a mission to help change the lives of LGBT youth. The constantly changing corner window display is already becoming famous for showcasing award-winning youth art creations and other LGBT art and fashion. January this year I signed a contract with this store to sell some items for me. I explained I was moving out of state and gave them my mailing address for any money owed me for the sold items. Well, I was informed a few items were sold in February. I am still waiting on payment. There phone number no longer works and I have no way of getting in touch with them. Did I mention they have never sent me payment for the items sold? I have reason to not trust this business. I guess I have been taken. If anyone knows their new number please let me know. read more

Between the lost items given on consignment, the bounced check for those they sold and the poor air conditioning (because it was too expensive) I don't think their new location is going well. Their hours of operation being posted differently across different platforms doesn't help. read more

This is a great organization that helps the young generation. It is more like an upscale consignment shop with amazing items and furniture. Prices vary from low to high.
