This was my 1st visit to this newer location. Much like the original, it is overflowing with antiques, vintage wonders, sports memorabilia, clothes, and just about anything you can imagine. The staff is great, as always! Definitely recommend a visit, but it won't be a quick one! Go explore!

Whoa! The inventory is HUGE! My third time here and I still find it amazing. I even suggested Oddballs charge an admission fee as it's like traveling through time. Check it out.

2 hrs in this place isn't enough!!! Drove all the way from Miami to visit the FlipSide and their flier alls promoted this location and OMG these gems... I'll be here forever.

We haven't been back here for awhile. They have moved to a new location which feels bigger and brighter. We grabbed beer and browsing around. So many things to see. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything we wanted to buy this time. But we still had a good time walking around the things and drinking beer.

I absolutely love this thrift shop! I hadn't been here in a while and came by recently. They moved but the goods remain the same. They're in a super spacious location with so many great finds. The employees are so helpful and kind with any questions or asks. They give you extra discounts without even asking which is such a great plus. Definitely come by here and see what unique things you find! A good mix of clothes, furniture, art, glasses, and other finds.

Stumbled upon this place and a thrifter, this place is amazing!! They have the most fun, random assortment of things! I liked that they sold beer, wine and other beverages (to help in the decision making process as one staff member said) The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Despite being a consignment/thrift store, it's really well organized and not overly cluttered. If you find something you like, they're usually willing to work with you on the price if they can too!

This is my first time visiting the new location of Oddballs on Dixie Hwy in Oakland Park. I have previously shopped and loved their former location where I picked up a set of vintage Pyrex turquoise Butterprint bowls. They had a great outdoor area and several out buildings. The store was such a maze it felt like it never ended. There is almost no parking at the new location. You park down a side street on the side of the road. This new store feels smaller to me although they assured me it is larger. The good thing about the new location is it is in close proximity to a number of other thrift stores. Store sales still operate the same. You pick up an item from any of the vendors that consign with them and bring it up front where depending on the item you can try and price haggle. Merchandise includes a wide array of things including furniture, clothes, accessories, home goods, art, and seasonal decorations. On this outing I found a set of flamingo salt and pepper shakers. Marked at $30! a quick check online found numerous sellers pricing them at $10. I pointed out the inflated price at the register and was bluntly met with then you should buy it online. Thanks, I did for less than half the price they were marked here. It is still fun to look around Oddballs but know your prices.

What a cool shop! I have had Oddballs on my list of places to visit in South Florida for quite some time now and we were finally able to stop by over the weekend. From the outside, you would have no ideas what kind of treasures are hidden inside! In a rather industrial area of town, this unique little shop would be easy to miss. There is not a lot of parking on the side of the building but we were able to find spots directly across the street. I love that this shop had an outdoor/garden center space! I was not expecting to be able to shop for plants and garden décor but they had a variety of options to spruce up your green spaces! When you walk inside, you immediately know you are somewhere special. Hand written, fun signs line the walls, or at least any spaces that aren't filled with antique and thrifted treasures. I don't know what I was more impressed with, the variety of items in this space or just how much they were able to squeeze in here without it feeling overwhelming! Even if you are overwhelmed by the vast selection, they offer $5 beers to sip on during your shopping experience! Overall this was a great experience, a truly unique thrifting/antique experience with friendly staff, a wide selection of items, all at very approachable prices. And like their signs say, if you don't like a price, just ask them to change it!

Cute chess board

This is THE best thrift shop ever?! I was bored on Sunday and decided to look up "thrift stores near me". A couple of stores showed up before this one but a review from this store caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. I'm SO glad I did. This is the type of place you can spend HOURS even days in and still find new stuff to look at. They have SO much EPIC stuff. It's not even funny how much damage my wallet will go through because I will now be going back weekly. This is like an adult playground. Couldn't recommend this place more.

The ceiling...don't forget to look everywhere

Ask the Community - Oddballs Nifty Thrift

Do they carry good thrift clothes (little trendy or 2000's style) for sizes XS-S, ? May be going Sunday so hurry !

They have LOTS of stuff! And, while they do have some "current" clothing styles, there's not a ton of clothing or more current trends.

Do they have a variety of vintage clothing?

Yes they do! And some shoes as well

They have a little bit of everything -- vintage items mixed into collectibles and actual antiques. A bit of furniture, some clothes; a nice selection of jewelry; a few books and magazines; but a lot of China, bric a brac, and household items. Like everywhere else, it pays to know what the market values are. And I always like checking the current prices being charged for things I grew up with. I did wind up buying a lovely bracelet here. And got a very good price on it. It's the kind of place you need to walk through several times. There's a lot of items and you won't see everything the first time around.

I had a lovely chat with the owner who let me know all prices are negotiable. I enjoyed exploring their selection of new, vintage, and antique furniture, small appliances, household items, books, clothes, art, and accessories. You need to take your time to really take everything in. There is a number of great cabinets for sale along with vintage cookware. There aren't too many stores like this in this area so The Flip Side is a welcome addition. The Flip Side has another store in Lauderhill on University Drive. I always love supporting a small businesses and especially thrift stores. Help the planet by reducing, recycling, and reusing by thrifting!

There is no denying that there is some great stuff in here. I was immediately drawn the 1950's glassware that would make for the most amazing happy hour cocktail party just like Mad Men. What I was most excited to find was a pretty nice assortment of vintage Pyrex, especially in the pattern I most collect, turquoise Butterprint. It was when I turned it over that I got sticker shock. The exact same casserole dish with lid that I just purchased for $25 at the Cooper City Antique Mall was marked $45 here! I give them points for clearly pricing everything. I tried to talk prices with the owner who told me she owns everything in the store. She wasn't budging and gave me a dismissive well they are popular. Part of the fun of purchasing them is getting them at a good price so here they stayed. After that I gave the store a look around while she helped a gentleman with a piece of furniture. There are nice things here but I think you can do better on price somewhere else, possibly even the internet. She is right though, they are a hot collectible.
