I loved having a Flower Shop that was so close to our business! We have guests that ask for flower arrangements for special occasions to be waiting on them when they open the door to their room. We ordered a dozen roses with a complementary color to be interspersed per the guests request and colors on short notice. What they designed for us was just beautiful. The guests were staying for 5 days. We picked up and brought the roses to their room the morning of their arrival. The husband was so happy at his wife's delight on their 1st wedding anniversary and the grin on his face really made our day! When they left 5 days later they made a point of stopping by to say thank you and show us the flowers still looking as fresh as the first day. I was thrilled to see the quality of their flowers and immediately set up an account with them. I will be using them from now on. Pros: Fresh, fresh flowers and longevity last minute-no extra fee prompt and friendly cons: none I looked at the past negative reviews. They are from years ago and do not represent the change in management for the shop. The new management is spot on and friendly and they know their stuff! When I reached out later to move forward was told that that was an informal quote and they had to re-quote it in the system and it came back at $1,950. Wimberley Flower Shop's wedding branch, Wow Factor Design, did the flowers for my wedding earlier this month. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Kristy was extremely professional and attentive from start to finish. I contacted her on 2/22/2017 for a 4/1/2017 wedding, and she still did her best work! I had planned to use a local farmer, but their crop froze in January, which left me scrambling. Wow Factor/Wimberley Flower Shop was the 4th company I contacted once my farmer was out, and they were the quickest as well as the cheapest. However, the main thing that set them apart is that Kristy listened to what I wanted, looked at the pictures I sent, and then created my dream arrangements. I had one florist spend an hour with them then a few days later show me a rose ball for a mock bridal bouquet when I requested wildflowers that looked freshly picked. I left my mock up with Kristy thrilled and excited for the day of flowers. On my wedding day, they delivered the flowers over an hour early. I had an arrangement on my cake. When the florist showed it to me that day, I thought it was the boutonniere. Obviously, I wasn't listening. I told the florist it was too big. My actual boutonnieres were in another room, and Kristy had sent three extras. They were the perfect size. However, never once did Wimberley Flower Shop/Wow Factor act like I was crazy when I thought the cake flowers were to be pinned on my groom. They said they'd take the boutonnieres back and redo them before the ceremony. Anything to make me happy. Also, we planned a surprise wedding, so all communication had to be covert. Kristy was very understanding about me not being able to talk on the phone at work because my coworkers that I had invited them to an engagement party. She was quick on email and very accommodating to my schedule. I would highly recommend them for weddings and personal use. I reviewed the pictures that Wimberley Flower Shop placed on their website for lovely Christmas arrangements. I ordered (3) of the Christmas arrangements sent to friends and a family member. I paid for an upgrade adding additional blooms. When the arrangements arrived (as scheduled) I was embarrassed and sad to learn that not one of the three even faintly resembled the picture on the website. One had NO flowers. When I called and talked to Kristy about this she was in no way apologetic, but reminded me she had the right to make substitutions (supposedly of equal value) and she said supplies were unavailable. She said I could call any flower shop and would be unable to get anything any better. The other 2 arrangements arrived with a small poinsettia substituted for cyclamen and kalanchoe and looking nothing like what was pictured...certainly no extra blooms. Needless to say, Teleflora took my money and did NOT pass on the accurate order to Wimberley. When it arrived to my daughter and it was NOT what I ordered, I called Wimberley. After hours, the general manager Kristen Hanlon called me, IMMEDIATELY offered to correct a mistake that was NOT theirs, and was professional, kind and thoughtful. I walked in with my own vase and ordered a random $50 flower arrangement. 20 Minutes later I walked out with a beautiful present for my wife. A day later several flowers were wilted. Now, two days later, 1/4 at least of the flowers are wilting. This is in a vase they set up and watered. Recommendation: Don't buy here is you want fresh flowers. read more

I was VERY disappointed with my wedding bouquet. I had a destination wedding in the area so the flower consult had to be via email. I sent pictures of a beautiful cascading bouquet I wanted, and it turned out to be NOTHING as pictured. In fact.. they barely made an attempt to have it cascade. They stuck what looks like would belong in a forest on the side of the bouquet to make it "cascade" and it looked like a failing last minute job. Wimberley Flower Shop is a great local resource, especially for last minute floral needs. I called at 11:30am and they had a big beautiful arrangement ready for me by noon. Granted, this was not Valentine's Day or another big floral holiday, but just a regular Wednesday in June. I really appreciate having a local floral designer that is happy to work with you to get the perfect design. I went in to try to get my wedding flowers done in July 2012. What a mistake! I was quoted something like $80 just for a flower girl bouquet! My bridal bouquet would have been $120! These were simple, calm tone desert flowers and she was charging insane prices. I had a second cousin who worked in the bridal industry for a year in her 20's help me wrap bouquets, fix boutonnieres, and arrange all the flowery bits. We bought the flowers at Brookshire Bros, from their massive collection of catalogs. They special ordered exactly what we wanted, and we paid $80 for it all. DO NOT USE THIS FLOWER SHOP!! They fulfilled an order that I had placed for my wife's birthday. What they delivered was NOWHERE NEAR what I purchased, even after upgrading to the biggest arrangement. (Pictures below, you be the judge) When I called to complain, the manager told me that I needed to contact the vendor because she felt they had "fulfilled" the order. Awful service! I ordered the "premium" upgrade to the flower arrangement and it was a complete rip off. The picture shows 30+ roses and I think my mom was lucky if she got 15. It did Not look at all like the picture either. False advertisement!!! Also, the flowers were not delivered on the day requested, which was her birthday!! DO NOT PURCHASE FLOWERS HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. First of all this place is a total rip off, they are unprofessional and clearly do not care about their customers. I live In Chicago and had called in an order of 3 dozen roses for my mothers birthday to be delivered. I am not complaining about their over priced flower arrangements which aren't even pretty enough to be worth what they charge but given that this is the only flower shop in Wimberley, I would order from them every year for my mothers birthday, Mother's Day and any other holiday. I don't care to pay $275 for roses if they are worth it, but this flower shop not only gave me old roses, they also did NOT deliver the flowers on the day they were scheduled to be delivered. Oh and they charged me a delivery fee of coarse. When I called the next day to see what had happened they blamed my mother. According to them they called her. Oddly she did not have any missed calls nor voicemail. They didn't even apologize didn't offer to refund the delivery fee and only said they would deliver the next day. This was the last $275 I spend here. They didn't only loose one customer as the rest of my family also used this flower shop. ADIOS!!! read more

I should have read these reviews first! I ordered a "Lavender Charm Bouquet" to be delivered to my wife on our anniversary on 8/10/17. I ordered the LAVENDER Bouquet because it is my wife's favorite color. The picture shows every flower is purple, well because it says Lavender!!!! What I got was ugly white roses instead, that stood out just great. When I contacted the store I received an e-mail from the owner advising me of their "substitution policy" - I'm not so sure that substituting something white for purple is actually "showing care in maintaining the color scheme of the arrangement" as their website states. If I order purple roses and get white, that is an obvious difference! The "too bad, so sad attitude" of the owner matches the poor product we received. The flowers I received were beautiful but I would not waste money on the extra chocolate and teddy bear. For $10, I got a bag of ghirardelli chocolate which you can get at Walmart for like $2. The bear I received was deformed and falling apart at the seams. I've def seen better looking bears at the dollar store. read more

Wow Factor designed my wedding and attendant bouquets at the last minute for me less than a week before our ceremony. I was able to go to their website and look at the bouquets and then come in and just talk about what I wanted. They had some great ideas about how to include flowers that would be available inside of my time frame. The flowers were gorgeous and they lasted a long time too. Amazing designs. I live in Maryland so doing business long distance is concerning but unavoidable. Since I owned a florist in the past I understand what can be done IF the shop owner is willing to work with the customer. Wimberley Florist owner was willing to go above and beyond to help me. I was needing something for a funeral for a young man. His parents live local so I requested a live tree instead of a house plant or flowers. I felt this would be perfect for the parents to plant in their yard in memory of their son. The tree exceeded my expectations!! It was a 10' blooming apple tree that made me think of the saying "Apple of my eye". Kristi (I believe was the owner's name) had to go purchase the tree and then deliver it to the church (keep in mind it was January) It was a large tree. Wimberley Florist is a 5 STAR shop and I would use them again. In response to the "Cyndi" post. In this day and time why would you not find a shop in the town where the flowers are being delivered or confirm with the shop that they deliver to the town you are trying to send to. Most of the pictures shown on websites are over exaggerated for size and florists can only inventory what is in season or available through vendors. Had problem with one flower wilting after a day. Great to work with. Will always do business with them in the future. Their floral design department (WoW Factor Design) made our wedding experience the best we could hope for. In fact, they were the ONLY vendor that followed through without a hitch. They showed up a little early and our guests LOVED the table arrangements for the reception (they even walked out with a few of them.) We didn't want the standard wedding package with roses and more roses (with a side of roses) and they delivered perfectly. Not a single rose involved and they provided a not-so-usual floral experience that our guest are still raving about. They also showed us ways to save money on the flowers and didn't try to gouge us. It was all pretty easy, we just walked in and told them basically what we were looking for and they knocked it out of the park. They offered us some great ideas that ended up working out even better than what we had pictured. A+++ experience. Would highly recommend them to anybody.
