Dissapointed with Paul's service. He was attentive and communicated on time until I paid. The report was undecipherable and I requested him to send me a simple list of To Do without the jargons. Radio Silence. Multiple email, phone texts, etc. I was at the Contra Costa County office. They all said that they have heard the same thing. He does not communicate or care about customer after the bill is paid and he burries his inspection in jargon so that no litigation is brought. I take home inspection seriously. I dont think you should hire Paul for any work. A person who does not have the integrity to compose an email that might take 5 minutes is either ignorant (just punches the buttons for an automatic report generator) or does not care. In either of these cases, he is a dangerous person to do your home inspection. read more

WIN Home Inspection came recommended to us from our realtor, and Ron did an excellent job with our inspection. He was able to come out the same week we requested him. During the inspection itself, Ron walked us through his findings and explained what fixes we might make ourselves versus when we would hire a professional. We've never owned a home before, so we asked a lot of questions about random things in the house and Ron was nothing but patient with our odd questions. The morning after the inspection, Ron sent us his full report. The report itself includes photographs, explanations of the issues found, and information on why/how to address the issues. The report was very thorough and Ron shared his professional opinion on which fixes to prioritize, which was valuable for us since we don't have experience maintaining a house. Once we had actually moved into our house, a couple weeks after the initial inspection, we found one or two things we were unsure about (these items had been blocked by staging furniture). We emailed photographs to Ron and he was gracious about answering our additional questions.
