We purchased a home in July 2025 and the pest inspection was done by Prolific Inspections. Since moving in, we've discovered winged insects inside the house and immediately reached out to them for a reinspection (which is supposed to be included within the 4-month window). Unfortunately, they have not responded to calls or emails. This has been very stressful as new homeowners -- especially after relying on their inspection report during our purchase. Clear communication and timely follow-up are critical in pest control, and so far that has been missing. Miguel, Roberto, and team came through for us once again. This will be the third big project we have hired them for and they continue to be the most professional, diligent, trustworthy, and competent contractors we have worked with. We needed a second story deck replaced and wanted to add stairs down to the ground level. Because of the size of the deck and it being attached to our house, city permit/inspections were required. They were so on top of scheduling the inspections and quickly made the minor changes the inspector requested. They went above and beyond what the plans specified (including how the deck was attached to the house) so that our deck was not only structurally sound and water tight but also aesthetically pleasing. This was a big job but these guys worked diligently to complete it and we are so pleased with our new deck. They really are the only contracting team I trust. There was a tiny mishap where a bolt went through one of our electrical wires and Miguel immediately communicated to us that they would cover the cost for the electrician and the team patched up the drywall so you would never know the difference. We have hired other contractors and it truly is a night and day difference and such a genuine pleasure to work with Miguel and team. I contacted Prolific for an inspection, via Yelp. They responded very quickly and scheduled me for an inspection within a matter of days - which was great for someone as impatient as me! Miguel showed up on time for the inspection. He introduced himself and immediately got to work. He spent a good amount of time under the house and took care not to track any dirt or mud through the house when he was done. Miguel explained what he saw and said he would send a quote within a couple days. I received the quote within about one day, as promised. The quote was very informative and detailed and the cost of repairs was very reasonable. Miguel also shared pictures of the damage with me and answered my questions completely. Job# 1~  This was my first time using Prolific Inspections and actually another contractor had referred this company to me and I'm so glad they did. With so many termite companies in my search I felt overwhelmed. Miguel, the owner & company far surpassed my hopes and expectations right from the beginning starting with a simple phone  call.  When I first reached out I got voicemail and he called back within an hour! My husband and I cannot recommend Miguel and Freddie enough. We came across the company because prospective buyers for the house we ended up purchasing used them for the home inspection. We noticed they also offer estimates to fix the issues found through the inspection and that they do bathroom remodels. We called and spoke with Miguel who promptly scheduled an estimate for all the work we wanted done: fixing dry rot under a slider to a deck and two full bath remodels. They worked within our budget and I really like that they let us shop for the materials so we were getting exactly what we wanted. They also were able to pick up a lot of the larger materials for us that we couldn't get shipped to the house. They were on time completing the work and very communicative on progress updates. Had an amazing experience with these guys! Miguel and the whole team is wonderful. We had a termite problem in our ADU, they worked with us to schedule the fumigation at a time that worked for our family, answered a million questions, were prompt to respond and gave a very well priced quote. They were super understanding when we had to reschedule at the last minute, answered our concerns, worked with us to make the process as easy and convenient as possible. And not only that, after our fumigation was complete, we discovered a plumbing issue with our sink.
