I would say that if you want it done cheap, they are fairly cost efficient. But their services outside of installing electrical hardware will reflect the price extremely accurately.

We had a problem with our dishwasher and so our home warranty contracted RMS Appliance Repair to…read morecome out and fix the issue. It looks like this company is a single person operation and he came out and looked at the dishwasher and made some assessments. I had to pay him $125 deductible on the spot and he told me that same night he will go ahead and provide his assessment to the warranty company so he can come back in the next few days and either try to fix the dishwasher or replace it. Well, it took almost 2 WEEKS and after lots of phone calls to RMS Appliance by me and the warranty company, we finally got the assessment. Then he decided he will not fix unless the warranty company prepays for parts with credit card. Almost a month later and I had to find another contractor to come out and fix the issue. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dishwasher itself..it was a bad outlet. If RMS Appliance had done its job properly, this would have been discovered immediately. Instead the guy opened up the dishwasher and proceeded to tell me a bunch of parts needed to be replaced. He did absolutely nothing except take my money. VERY UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. I called her and asked if i had permission to cut the lock, which she affirmed. She then mentioned I should stop in the office to see if they had cutters I could use. When i asked, i was admittedly in a hurry and did not listen fully to everything said. I own that; subsequently, I broke the rules. After the other office gentleman calmly addressed me and informed me of my error, I was immediately apologetic and asked how to correct the situation . Mike Powers, your manager, charged at me yelling aggressively and in perpetuity, despite my apology and desire to correct the situation. We did resolve the situation in whatever manner Mr Powers demanded but he continued to be aggressive and angry toward me. I'll admit my mistake and acknowledge that I did not comply with rules and regulations. I will not be storing my things on your property, nor will I ever return. I don't expect anything from you and I don't wish to get a response. As a former business owner for seven years with over 400 clients (many of whom skirted my advice and warnings), I never could have dreamed of treating any of them the way I was treated by Mr Powers on Wednesday.

Like he took it personally that I don't have a pristine environment for his appliances. He brought parts back a week later. That's when he took his ground towel and slung dirt at me. He got more angry and abusive. I told him to either do the job or void the warranty, but STOP. Yelling at me. Then I left him alone to do his work, he left 20 min later without a word. No humanity or integrity. He clearly dumped our service out of vengefulness, I was unwilling to kowtow to his rage or tolerate his abuse. I am crippled. I can't lift over 5 lbs. I struggle to do anything for myself. But this man is so entitled that my best was offensive. Not a good human.
