As we…read morewere shopping today my wife pointed out the oyster case had some very large/jumbo oysters which is typically a rare occasion at this location and we always grab them when we see it. After we waited about 10 minutes in front of the oysters Brian yelled across the seafood area asking if we were ready and we said yes. He never walked over and waited to hear what we wanted all the way from the fish area which already made my wife uncomfortable and mentions to me "he seems like he's going to be rude" by just his demeanor. Once finally approached I pointed out there were 3 large bags in the oyster tank and the bag that was open was 1/2 way sticking out of the water and i specifically asked for a dozen from any of the other bags that were completely submurged to avoid any potential food poisoning. and his response was a rude as can be "Nope, I'm not opening any other bags if you want oysters you are picking them from that bag". I was mind blown and in shock as a long time customer being spoken to like this was insane. For years even before this was "Town & Country" we have been shopping here and have always had such a pleasant experience with every encounter except this guy. Brian you do not deserve to be in this industry or treat customers in this manner. Do better T&C, i doubt we will be back after this.

In long Maybe it's just me, but it seems like they used to stock a much wider variety of specialty produce (among other things) here. The shelves and cases are all still full, and the quality is good. But you used to walk through here and see at least half a dozen things that practically no other stores had on hand. They still have good stuff, though--no doubt. The bakery section was super tempting, and there were dozens of choices among meat, fish, and poultry. The produce section is really big for this size of store--imagine if Trader Joe's focused on fruit and veg instead of snacks and frozen stuff, and you have a general picture of the ratio. Prices are a bit higher here than TJ, but not unreasonable. Quality is very good (esp. on produce). There are long aisles of shelf-stable condiments, packaged stuff, tons of spices. They definitely aim first at the home cooks who think of themselves as home cooks, and secondly at the folks who just know they need good groceries. Beer and wine are just a few basics, maybe half a small aisle. They had a few solid manager's specials going today, and the staff were all very nice (if not very bubbly). I'd happily shop here if I didn't have to drive past half a dozen other supermarkets that are all good options. So, I'd shop here if I lived in Mill Creek, essentially.

It's super convenient and easy to stop by, which makes it part of my routine at this point. One thing I really appreciate is how consistently kind the staff is. Whether I go during the day or later at night, everyone is always friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. I also feel really safe shopping here, which is something I don't take for granted. The store itself always feels clean and well-kept, and the food options are actually really good. I love browsing their deals too--you can find some great stuff without spending a ton. Overall, it's just a really reliable, positive shopping experience every time I go. Newsflash for the owner: 1) You have NO right to ask your customers to conceal their weapon(s), 2) You have NO right to ask your customers whether or not they have their conceiled and carry licenses 3) You only have a right to ask your customers to not carry weapons in your store. We found good hot sauces and wine at great prices. The checker was totally friendly and one of the floaters helped us a ton with our cart situation (my wife needs to use a scooter these days, hopefully not for much longer). I kinda dread the crowds here but a mid-day visit was super pleasant, and you always find good prices on tasty things at TJ's.

The holiday shopping vibes were clearly present in the store, as I saw people grabbing multiples of the same items to stock up. As usual, the employees were friendly and efficient. Even though the store was crowded, they were able to move the lines very quickly. Overall, I'm still very happy that Trader Joe's is able to keep its prices down in this economy. Parking near Trader Joe's may be difficult, but the mall parking lot is huge, so you can always park a bit farther away and walk.

This market is farther than Evergreen Asian Market from where I live, but I prefer to stop here…read morefirst for what I need. There is an amazing selection of meat, fish, and vegetables here. Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

I ordered ground pork for pickup from this location, and when I got home and opened it, I discovered mold growing on it. It's a clear food safety violation that could make someone sick When I returned it, the customer service was appalling: no apology, no concern, and no acknowledgment of how dangerous this is. After I got back home and checked the new package more closely, I realized the expiration date could easily be rubbed off by hand. This makes me wonder if old meat is being cleaned up and given a new date to look fresh. If that's happening, it's not just unacceptable -- it's dangerous and dishonest. Selling spoiled meat is a public health risk, and I question whether this store is following any proper storage or quality.

This Safeway is absolutely horrible. You have people begging in the parking lot that are using…read moredrugs. The store employees are kind of rude and they also look like they're using drugs. This store has completely gone downhill and there are people shooting up in the parking lot, I get in my car and there's two people next to me like getting their drugs together and looking like they're ready to party in the grocery store parking lot. The employees won't do anything about it and they don't care. I'm not sure how merging this company with another one is going to fix its current problems, but if they wanna acquire more stores, they need to work on the ones that are existing because this did not look like this at all and I will never come back here again.

On one thing and after everything was said and done she wants to offer me 50% off and I said no thanks because why do you have to be rude and shut me down when I spent a lot of one fruit.
