I went here the other day and they have a wonderful vegetable section. They also have wonderful food had a great price and their employees are very sweet. I love this market. Floral department. I ordered flowers for a celebration of life. The 4-in flowers were $3 more than what was quoted. I had two large sprays made one was very scant and was way overpriced. It had three roses nine carnations and all the rest was fern. It looked very sparse. The other one was supposed to be something I could hang and was more of a table top low display. I thought going to A Hagan store would have been better quality but I guess I was in for a surprise I will not buy from them again. read more

The app said that the one I ordered had been substituted for something much larger/more expensive, so I declined it. Came to the Lake Stevens Haggen this morning, Saturday 11 March 2023, to select one sweet treat to try from the in-house bakery. A small line formed for the donuts made in-house while I was picking out my item. I went with an individually packaged cinnamon roll from the breakfast table. Price pre- and with tax was $1.99 and I was able to pay via self check-out, which opened to customers after I arrived and before I checked out. The parking lot was large and workers friendly. It was a cinnamon roll with a hearty portion of cream cheese frosting, which as a cream cheese frosting enthusiast I quite enjoyed. The roll itself was well cooked and the cinnamon not too overpowering after the first of couple bites. It came in a tight bowl of sorts within the main container, which made eating the cinnamon roll much less messy than it might have been without the bowl. read more

Absolutely disappointed today. Their prices on their Chinese food in the deli have gone up while portion size has been cut in half. I guess greedflation means shafting customers at both ends. I can drive one block down the road and get freshly cooked to order Chinese at the same price for a larger portion. My husband and I moved to Lake Stevens a year ago and we frequent this Haggen each week. Today (Sunday, July 14) I had such a delightful experience with the staff who worked the floral department. I wish I got her name. I picked out a bouquet of flowers and asked if it could be wrapped. She said she was tossing out half the flowers to get even fresher flowers. She pulled from different areas and double checked if new colors were okay. She thoughtfully and tenderly arranged the bouquet and I could tell she loves what she does! How wonderful to take out older looking flowers so the bouquet could shine. A stellar model employee and how we should all operate in this world. read more

I love this store, 90% of the time. But they've recently gotten a slew of new baggers who struggle. We use heavy cloth bags that are super to carry, but are difficult to fill. I feel bad for the baggers and checkers most of the time, because it's frustrating and I get that. But that doesn't mean they should shove fragile, soft items in first and then dump cans on top. Please train your baggers: cold things in together, ask before assuming heavy things shouldn't be bagged, crushable items on top. I should note that this is no where near the first time this type of thing has happened. read more

Produce is bright and fresh, and the general selection is wonderful - not to mention there donut selection! All the employees there, while busy at work, are willing and able to help when needed. This is a terrible location. Kim is a piece of work. I got food poisoning from an expired product I brought back to let her know to pull them from the shovels. Kim said my first problem was what I purchased! Not a I'm sorry, nothing! Talk about unprofessional and rude. She didn't even go remove the SEVERAL EXPIRED products left in the deli section. It was so bad I had to miss work. I had my receipt and package, she could have cared less. Just laughed and said my problem was what I purchased and not the expired date. I recently was shopping and when walking through parking lot had to step around a pair of ladies dirty under panties. I immediately asked a clerk to have them removed. I had a lot of shopping to do but when I looked out later they were still there so asked a different clerk to take care of them. when I finally finished my shopping they were still there and I had step around them to put my groceries in car. it makes me wonder what kind of filth in store. There is definitely one clerk I find consistently rude and very unhelpful even when other clerks as her for help.. I am a soft spoken person and don't generally complain but service has definitely gone down hill. To many items with unmarked prices etc. I will shop at a different location in the future. read more

This is by far my favorite grocery store to shop at. Starting with the friendly-knowledgeable staff who always greet me with a smile and a warm hello, to the very easy to shop isles and departments. I always find more than I need when I'm there and the high quality of brand/items they carry are definitely a step above the other stores in the area and I always appreciate how they keep the store staffed to get you through the checkout line quickly. The produce department carries all the organic fruits and veggies that I prefer and the deli has great choices with ready to eat meal options that are fresh and delicious. The sushi department is wonderful and is made fresh throughout the day, it is definitely a higher-end sushi. They also have a cozy eating area with a fireplace where you can enjoy a meal from the deli or a cup or coffee, etc... One of the new services they offer now is to order groceries on the Haggen app and have them do the shopping for you and then bring the order out to your car. The app is extremely easy to use and the employees that have brought my orders out to my car have given terrific customer service too. I've used this option quite a bit lately and it's been a time saver, as well as, a life saver for me in recent months. Way to go Haggen keep up the great work! read more

I have been going to the pharmacy here for many years, and still go even though I have moved a little further away. My prescriptions are always ready on time and they go out of their way to fill it quickly if it was just called in. The staff is very friendly and remember your name, which is rare these days. The main pharmacists, Tracey and Basil, are friendly and willing to help with any questions at all times. I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone. read more

I simply love this place. Freshness is always top notch with lots of local selections. You can find quiet a few not only select, but awesome specialty items. We're always running into fun new foods to consume. Great selection! Customer service here has always been awesome and staff is so friendly, like the old time get to know your neighbor kind of way. The donuts here are hands-down the best donuts of any grocery store I've ever been to. Even after I found that out I tested other Donuts to see if it was true, still tried and true! And they make them in house. If I haven't raved enough by now the last thing I need to mention is there plant selection. They have all Northwest grown plants and all fantastic shape. Always a good selection of plants and I love to get many of the herbs they have there. I have bought quite a few plants for them over the years and have yet to have a single complaint. The Chinese deli needs to be more on top of their food. Went in at 4:30 to order some dinners to go and the food had obviously set out for hours! The vegetables were so overcooked and dead it was ridiculous. The low main noodles were chewy and crispy, definitely tasted like they'd been under the heating lamp for quite a while. I this has been my neighborhood grocery store for many years. To this day I still enjoy walking in and seeing all the friendly people. When we get there, Vicky, Leah, Krista, Lisa will always cheerfully greet you at the front, Michael is always near by and happy to help too. Their butcher counter has many top quality selection much like a specialty butcher shop. Their seafood side is just as tasty and fresh! Their bakery has the city's best donuts and carrot cake. Mmmm...cake (Ragni, we miss you!) my kids grew up on the string Cheese whip samples at the deli and a cookie from Ragni and the gals in the bakery. Now that they're older they love the chicken chow mein at the hot bar and the sushi at the sushi bar. Their sushi is always super fresh! This, along with the store in Snohomish, are the only higher end groceries in the area. If I need a somewhat obscure ingredient, they are more likely to have it than anyone else. Their "fancy" bread department is much nicer than the Safeway or Albertsons! Food is markedly more expensive in general so I come here for the special items or if I need a nice loaf of bread to go with dinner. The best thing is that they have the best sushi on this side of the trestle. Its fresh and tasty. Expensive, but worth it when you need the fix. I was really bummed when I had to move from Mill Creek away from Central Market, and couldn't really imagine any place measuring up. Haggen isn't Central Market, but it's close. Great selection of products, produce is in great shape, nice deli section and meat counter. Pretty good beer and wine selection. Clean, well kept, courteous staff, and a pleasant place to shop. It's also not overcrowded and relatively easy to navigate. Since Lake Stevens is a nice area for the most part, it's mostly cool people so you don't have to worry about a bunch of rude people bothering you. Pleasant place to come and shop. read more

For my family, who's new to LS. Haagen has been a saving grace. We're particular in our tastes. Haagen carries all the organic and almost all the specialty food and products we use. If I am in a bind and we cannot get into "town", as we like to say, we can get what we need here. Their prices are high, so I do usually selectively buy. My husband loves their donuts and bakery bread. I'm not impressed with their bakery myself and admit to being a snob in that area. I prefer PCC, Whole Foods, Central Market or Cafe Ladro. I do love the condition and availability of their produce. As someone who worked for a grocery co-op, I know how challenging maintaining a good produce section can be. They carry great seasonal outdoor decor ie Christmas wreaths, etc. They are also OPEN during the holidays and I took full advantage of that- sending my husband there over and over for forgotten, last-minute items. Finally, their staff and checkers have always been nice and small-town friendly. read more
