We went to see Dionne Warwick here last night and the venue was nice. Easy to get to, it's connected to a hotel casino. There's plenty of parking and valet. The ladies restroom has lots of stalls, so no wait after a concert. We enjoyed it and will look for other concerts here.

What a great place to see a show! Coming from someone who regularly attends concerts in the NY/NJ area Wind Creek is a refreshing change. Reasonable ticket and drink prices, small and intimate venue and overall comfortable surroundings. Recently saw Nancy Wilson's version of Heart and truly enjoyed myself. The acoustics of the room are great. Screens out in the bar area so you don't miss anything when you head out for a refill. Definitely going to have to keep this place on my radar!

Saw Brit Floyd here on 3/22/24. My first time at this venue I had no idea what to expect. I was surprised that it is located in a mall and right next to a hotel and casino. Old make for a really fun night to catch a show then hit the casino and crash at the hotel. One of the perks is the line into the venue is in the mall, so you aren't exposed to the weather while you wait to head through security. Security was thorough and the staff was all very friendly. Full bar and concession stand with some snacks. No hot food options but the soft pretzel was pretty good for 6$, and they have king size candy for 5$. The venue is pretty big. 2550 capacity for seated shows, 3700 for general admission. The seats on the floor were very close together and not very comfortable, but I heard the balcony seats have some nice cushions. The sound was fantastic and Brit Floyd was amazing, highly recommend checking them out if you like Pink Floyd. The venue is worth a visit if you've never been, give it a shot. Free parking in their lot, follow the signs for the event center, getting in and out was fairly easy. They also wristband you and allow exit and reentry which is a perk. 24 hour waffle house right down the road too!

We are not drinkers but it was pretty cool to have the entry to the event at the Vision bar serving food and drinks that can be brought into the show.

Partially mumbling about the show and partially mumbling about the venue/experience.) A few things worth noting: I had been here once prior for a seated show but never for a GA one. I'm not really an Everclear fan. Nothing wrong with the music, it just never caught my ear. My daughter is a huge fan so this was totally for her. Part of the GA issue was a non-issue as I forked out for the meet & great package so we were guaranteed to be on the rail as close as you could be. Everything in the email from the 3rd party company that handles the meet & greet stuff was all spot on: Show up at time X. Buy merch if you want before you are let in. You are let in at time X. You are given bag of swag. Band plays a single acoustic song. You line up the 1st time and the band will sign whatever and briefly talk to you about whatever you want. Art loved that I wasn't bringing the kid and that it was more that the kid brought me. You line up the 2nd time for pix with the blast furnaces in the background. This was well all executed. At time Y, the rest of crowd is let in and then you wait an hour until it's time to start except it wasn't really time to start as there was an opening act that no one seemed to know about. The show was the show. When you're that close, the sound is hard to judge. To me, it's all a sludgy mess musically although Art's vocals were, all things considered, excellent. At the end of the show the band came down to the rail and they were talking/selfie taking with everyone there. Art was beyond generous and gave my kid his setlist and a pick. Overall this was good. The staff got everyone in and out easily. Parking was a non-issue as we got there early and parked strategically to get out quickly. Art and the guys are pros-pros who know what they are doing. Another show here? Yep. Why not.

Checked out the new medium-size venue in Allentown last night, for the Descendents / Teen Mortgage…read moreshow, and this place definitely exceeded my already-high expectations. Excellent sound, with a great floor layout; even if you're toward the back, you've got a good view of the stage. They use those new-style of metal detectors where you just walk right through and don't have to slow down or empty your pockets. I'm a big fan of this, as it gets people into the venue faster while also keeping out dangerous items! Drinks are not as expensive as some music venues, and I appreciate that. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the bathrooms are absolutely luxurious, with many stall options. I love Archer Music Hall and hope they get more punk shows like this one, 'cause I'll absolutely be back.

Archer Music Hall has quickly become one of my favorite small-to-mid-size concert venues in…read morePennsylvania. It's about an hour and fifteen from me, totally doable for a weeknight show, and honestly the combination of ticket prices, artist variety, and solid acoustics keeps pulling me back. Venue Atmosphere & Layout If you're into a club-style concert vibe, this place nails it. It's basically a big black rectangle of a room in the best waywith a wide open floor that gives you a clear line of sight from almost anywhere. There's also a slightly elevated second-tier area behind the main floor with its own bar and standing space. Great if you want a little more breathing room without sacrificing the view. Bars run almost the full length of the building on both sides, which makes grabbing a drink pretty convenient (I didn't grab any this time, so can't speak to pricing). Security & Entry Here's the one thing you must plan for: entry takes time. Both times I've been here, I missed the first song of the opening band even though I arrived around 6:20 for a 7 PM show. Security is thorough but slow-moving, so if you want to see the opener or get a good spot, show up earlier than you think. Sound Quality & Experience The sound inside Archer is surprisingly good for a venue of this size. I've seen: * Magnolia Park * From Ashes to New * Set It Off * Autumn Kings * Vana * Fame On Fire And every show felt tight, loud, and balanced not the usual muddy wall of noise you get at some club venues. Lighting and production are also way better than expected. Ticket Prices & Value Another huge win: tickets are cheap. Most shows I've gone to were around $50 with fees, which is practically a miracle these days. For the level of talent they bring in, the value is incredible. Extras * Coat check available * Bathrooms clean-ish (for a concert venue, that's basically a compliment) * General admission only -- which I personally love Overall Archer Music Hall is a fantastic GA concert venue with great acoustics, solid sightlines, friendly staff, and ticket prices that don't make your wallet cry. The only downside is the entry line, but that's fixable by showing up a little earlier. I'll absolutely keep coming back. Perfect for fans of rock, alt, metalcore, pop punk, and high-energy live shows who want an intimate venue without sacrificing production quality.

The rules of the road here are simple: 1. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for children under 11/seniors over 60 along with all matinees and shows on Monday thru Thursday night. 2. Keep your ticket stub and take a peek over at the concession stand because they give away free popcorn every show based on ticket stub numbers. 3. Only one screen and the theatre is loooooong so it's best to sit towards the front as the sound is stronger coming from the front of the room. Also a slight quirk is that the theatre sits next to a very active set on Norfolk Southern tracks and more then likely once or twice during the show you will get some decent horn noise along with the floor and seats vibrating a bit if you are sitting on the side closest to the tracks. 4. Sit back and enjoy not being assaulted with thirty minutes of commercials and ads along with previews. The only thing here they preview is either for what they are showing next or the movie that they are showing on weekends/earlier in the night for families. So put down the iPad/iPhone/iPod/Nook/Kindle/Smart Phone/Dumb Phone and take a trip back to a simpler time when going to see a movie was about the movie and not about all the unnecessary bells and whistles on the periphery. Bar none when The Boyd in Bethlehem closed this place took over for best place to watch a movie in the LV.
