I could not recommend this place enough! My husband had seen Dr. Lai at his previous practice two years ago, and we were so glad to book with him again when we found out he'd started his own place. My guy came home downright cheerful the last time, which has never, ever happened before (it was just a cleaning/checkup, so that probably helped a bit ;)). The receptionist is great--knowledgeable and thoughtful when helping you to book. The chairs are comfortable and the space is immaculate. Diana is a skilled hygienist who is very informative and takes obvious care to ensure your comfort. Dr. Lai is very professional and competent. He will create a program for anyone who needs a lot of work done (my husband is one such patient) and provides recommendations for treatment, including taking your budget (benefits or lack thereof) into account by prioritizing and offering options according to efficacy and cost. Most importantly, he is very efficient and does not dawdle once he's in there! Dr. Lai is so excellent at what he does that, although my husband would basically rather set himself on fire than go to the dentist, he actually says that he likes Dr. Lai. He has a lot of work that needs to be done on some severe issues, but Dr. Lai has never blamed or shamed him, just showed that he wants to help to improve things. The whole team is really great that way; they are on your side. As a bonus, you can book with them online as well, they are open late 2 days a week to accommodate just about any schedule, and they can direct bill insurance. read more

I would not recommend the dentists at this office. I have had several issues will the basic fillings that I've had done. The last time I went I knew there was something wrong with the filling that Dr. Lai had done. He takes a quick look at it and says it looks good. As the hygienist is flossing my teeth before the end of my appointment she is the first person to notice that the filling is cracked! Great... because I love having fillings done more than once. The fact that he didn't notice my filling was cracked or even really tried to figure out what was wrong is why I've had to switch dental offices. read more

Dr. Lai and his staff are very friendly and professional. I had a cavity for the first time so I was really afraid of what would happen next. They assured me that everything would be fine and explained to me what was going to be done so that it would ease my nerves. The office is really clean, bright and welcoming. As expensive as their prices are, there seems to be a lot of confusion at the reception area. The communication is not clear at all from the office. Things they told me were covered with my insurance, weren't covered at all. I got my basic check up and cleaning done, and saw a $300 bill in spite of the fact I was told my insurance covered everything. My husband is under my insurance and he paid nothing, the estimate for him seemed to be accurate on the exact same services. One of the dentists stated that they could do a certain procedure and the other said they couldn't/ wouldn't l. I was told to go to a dental surgeon and the estimate for $3000, not covered by insurance. Then I received a random call during the week stating that the doctor who said they could do the procedure can only do it on that day and was leaving for a vacation the next day. I was at work and couldn't make it. Now they refuse to do it. I am so confused and with all their unclear estimates, I went to another dentist and not only were they clear and organized, their work is excellent and the prices are great. Called the dental clinic for an appointment and was told to book it as an emergency You know why $$$$$. Called again to ask why when the appointment was next day. Would not really explain properly. I had broken a back molar and called to make an appointment -- the soonest they could get me in was over a week later but I decided to go with it as it was the absolute closest and I was looking for a new dentist and hoped this might be a good fit. I asked them to call me if there were any cancellations and I received a call within a few days and when I called the day before the booking to ask whether I need to come early to fill out paperwork I was informed that I had missed my appointment the day before and they were refusing to book anymore. My sister was with me when they called and directly after hanging up with the receptionist I put the appointment into my calendar. I called to double check with my sister as my phone was on speaker and she confirmed my suspicions. When I asked to speak to someone higher up I was told that I was already talking to that person and that there must have been a miscommunication on their behalf but they were still refusing to give me a different appointment and when I asked for the owner/dental to call me they said there was no voicemail to be put through too and they said that they would pass it along however I never received word back... Overall terrible customer service and extremely rude and unprofessional staff with no accountability and very disappointed in the way I was treated and how the situation was handled. read more

Dr. Lai and his entire staff were incredible from start to finish. I was not looking forward to going as I have had some very bad experiences with dentists in the past and this appointment wasn't for me, it was for my 2.5 year old son so that's even more stressful for me than an appointment for myself. Their office is very kid friendly, they had treehouse playing on the TV's for him and all went out of their way to be friendly and inviting to us all. Dr. Lai even handled my very emotional self like a pro. Couldn't recommend this clinic enough! I finally feel like I found a dentist that I can happily bring my entire family to and not worry about being treated in the manner some "professionals" feel is acceptable these days. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I already booked an appointment for myself and am working on getting my other 2 kids on board the dental train as well now that I've finally found the dentist office of my dreams! read more

Very friendly staff as well as the dentist. Went there after release from hospital from Motorcycle accident last summer. Broken bones and broken upper bridge. Could not have any dental work done until cleared by surgeon. Plan of attack was to remove broken bridge as well as all remaining upper teeth and have an upper denture made. Dr. Lai did the extractions and fit the upper denture. He had a lot of trouble extracting the remaining upper teeth and with all the twisting some bone protruded out through my gums which was very painful. As well he left some bone in the left upper molars which made it impossible to bite down on the denture. I went back to have him fix the problem but he did nothing. After he got my $1650 + for extractions I expected better. As well the denture cost me close to $2,000. I will not got back and have made an appointment with another dentist to give me an estimate for implants. read more
