I was happy to attend their open house yelp event yesterday. They were able to introduce a variety of services and treatments with demos. From acupuncture, coolsculpting to fillers and botox. I'm impressed with their usage of advanced technology. It's fascinating to see what we can do to help us age gracefully or to improve our personal imperfections. You can also purchase quality skin products and makeup on your way in our out. I was fortunate to buy the VIP membership last night which is a great deal. Not only do you get deals on services but you get different services included example; microdermabrasion, Blu U, unlimited proellixe, etc. The staff are friendly, informative, and approachable. This isn't the kind of spa I'm used to visiting so that kind of put me in a bit of an odd mood setting foot in the door, but given that I visited their open house I was happy to learn more about all the different products and services they offer and I think I might take advantage of one or two in the future. The makeup artist who provided me a makeup consultation was really quite helpful. I find the Jane Iredale products to be of very high quality and that is quite good. The rooms seem clean and well appointed for the types of services that they offer. Staff all seemed really happy to be at their jobs.

Experience was good but not satisfactory. I've noticed that she did not take time in scrubbing my foot while my co-workers are getting their foot scrubbed and callus removed. You noticed that there was not even any flakes on the cloth she used for me because she did scrub them for a minute or less. I was observing how the other ladies are doing my friends' and they were all taking the time to scrub. I haven't had spa for years so there's no way that there's nothing to remove. I did not want to ask or complain as I did not want her to feel humiliated as everyone would hear for sure. It couldn't be possible that she forgot as she should be trained on how to do it and should take time to give an excellent spa experience. Trial and error, right? I've met Dr. Grewal from two different dermatologist recommendations. I am happy, and impressed that my skin disorder recovery is back to normal. Located on the second floor, with an elevator access or stairway. He is my favourite doctor ever since. Although he may appear timid, he is very knowledgeable, and open to suggestions. Waiting room is fairly big, booked appointments are quite quick and easy, from my experience no longer than 15min. They do light therapy treatment here. The only downfall is parking. Parking is confusing when it's packed. They have a few open stalls under the building which is a tight squeeze and if there is construction it's cramped to get out but still possible. More parking is further to the back of the building but you need to pay. If your lucky, try to park and quickly get your appointment done only if it's a regular check up, if not just pay the parking fee. This is why I think downtown parking is ridiculous. Never enough parking or oddly enough ridiculous parking payment nowadays. Staff is friendly. Maybe it's just me, you be the judge for yourself, Lol. :D Another thing to note is that their pharmacy on the first floor & carries most of their dermatology medical supplies which is a huge plus, saves you time from going to your local pharmacy that have to prepare it for next day or so. Recommended for people with skin disorders (P.S. you need a recommendation from your family doctor), & like I always say, you need to go through the process of finding your own doctor. At first, I told the doctor the price I had been quoted and she said, "Oh, it will probably be less!" Then stopped herself and seemed to admonish herself for saying it would be cheaper. Needless to say, they charged me $250 for a 15 minute procedure. But that's not all. When I got home, I noticed that about a quarter of the mole was still there as there was an obvious raised area left. I was moving to BC for a job on Monday so I could not go back in on Monday. When I called, the clinician told me to wait until the scab fell off and accusingly told me I would have complained if there was a bigger incision, or something along those lines. I told her, no, I just expect both the doctor and clinician present to remove the entire mole! I waited another week and of course there is still a part left of the mole, which is hard to cover up with makeup because its raised. Very unhappy with the entire procedure.

Road construction would make getting here by car a bit more complicated than it may need to be. It is conveniently close to a new residential area and there are a lot of services available nearby.
