Be sure to CAREFULLY check the hours they're open before getting care here. While technically an urgent care/walk-in clinic, there's a huge sign on the door saying "by appointment only". Even though hours were listed until 9pm, I was turned away at the door 8:40pm because the office does not see new patients after 8pm (what???) and close early if no one arrived in the last half hour (what???). The doctor was nice enough, but everyone is always running late. The kid in the lab didn't know what he was doing. He was clearly inexperienced and I ended up being stuck multiple times, then he forgot to draw what he needed for the one test that I actually went there for. I have to go get it done again but I will never go back there. I related to them what happened but they tried to say it was a "simple mistake". If I could use one word to describe the practice I would say unprofessional, not like a typical medical office. if your health is important to you and simple mistakes are a big deal at your doctors office, I would stay far away. read more

I should have read the reviews before booking an appointment. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance for some vaccinations. I received a confirmation email the same day. I created an online portal account and there were no documents to fill out. I arrived for my appointment and was told I could not be seen. When I asked why, they said they needed a registration packet and that it would take 72 hours to process. I was not provided a registration packet until arriving at my appointment and was not seen despite having a confirmed appointment. I would never recommend this clinic due to the professionalism. read more

Absolutely terrible!! I came here for care after having an extremely sore and swollen throat, I could barely breathe! The nurse practitioner swore it was only "allergies" and gave me an allergy pill and sent me on my way without any antibiotics or anything else. He said call him in a few days if I'm not better. Fast forward a few days later, my throat is even WORSE AND HAS BLISTERS IN THE BACK OF MY THROAT. So I swing back in there today, there are no clients in the lobby, no workers at the desk..I can hear everyone in the back chatting and hanging out. So I say "hello?? hello? Hi can I get some help?" A practitioner comes out from an office and I tell her my dilemma, she says ok give me a minute and I can help you, let me get the receptionist. Receptionist comes out and then I tell her my issue and that I need new meds she just says "oh sorry...Doc so-and-so is off for the weekend. We cant help you, come back monday." So I said "I cant, this is really bad i need medicine, how about the other practitioner over there she said she could assist me?" To which she replied "Um actually we are closed and not taking any more patients today." (Mind you the lobby was completely empty, its not like they were booked up or anything). And I said "What do you mean? Its the middle of the day and your sign says you close at 5? She just shrugged and said "you can go to the emergency room if you want, but we're closed." So rude!! The 3 women who worked the front today between the hours of 9 AM-12 PM registering patients for Covid walk in tests were extremely rude. I have never seen healthcare workers with such a lack of compassion and plain disrespect to people who are standing in line for hours, scared and sick. I hope that Windermere medical center can reevaluate their employees and teach them how to properly address patients. Call and indicate that I had suspicion that I had covid, I paid my telehealth consultation and they did not ask me anything, not even the symptoms only charged my consultation to give me an order to take the test. they did not give me any treatment and sent me to the ER. Then I called to confirm that I tested positive for Covid and that I had already finished my treatment, which was sent to me in ER and they told me that I should pay for a telehealth consultation but how are they going to check my lungs over videocall? So why do I have a primary doctor? He does not give me a treatment, he cannot physically check me and just sends me to the ER for symptoms that my doctor should treat. read more

My wife went for a Covid test. Understandably the line was pretty long for walk-ins. My wife is 23 weeks pregnant and gets very dizzy when standing for long periods of time, not to mention already having a weakened immune system due to the pregnancy (I was Covid positive, otherwise I would have just waited in line for her). I suggested that she get someone's attention and ask if there was anywhere else she could wait. She was not trying to cut the line, just to wait elsewhere so she could be more comfortable and less at risk of, you know, passing out on the sidewalk. their response was that she would have to wait in line, they would not find another solution, and that they would call 911 if she passed out. These are supposed medical professionals telling a pregnant woman if she passes out on the sidewalk from standing in the line they made her stand in, they will be kind enough to call 911. That is disgusting and shameful, and should disqualify this establishment from ever being taken seriously in the medical profession. p.s. I asked for my hormones to be checked during my annual physical and the brazillian PA assured me that the result will reflect in my regular bloodwork. That was false. She kept pushing me to make second appointment so she can perform a pap smear on me. When I refused, she kept pushing me to make an appointment with their in house dermatologist. Overall, I felt like she didn't listen to my health concerns. PRO: They always have appointments readily available. Probably due to the lack of patients... CON: Get blood work and urine analysis done at labcorp. Windermere Medical Center will charge a $15 fee for in house lab work. None of this was disclosed to me. I did not fill out any paperwork acknowledging this before or during this appointment. Generally, they would collect payment before seeing the doctor or at least disclose this fee. I was asked to pay this $15 fee AFTER my blood work and urine sample was taken. Super deceptive, considering annual physical and bloodwork is covered by your insurance. read more

Generic care and awful staff besides one sweet older lady. I don't know why I've been going here for years. Receptionist are the least helpful and today they took 45 minutes to realize they forgot I was there after they helped others that walked in the door after me. This place is horrendous. They advertise themselves as urgent care but there is nothing urgent about them. They also have some of the highest employee turnover that I have ever seen. They are rude, impatient and have no idea what HIPAA is they will shout your social security number, name and address for all of the waiting room to hear. I just moved from California and was in a search for a new doctor and found Mr. Patel on the Internet. I had googled some reviews and had some positive feedback. Since I've been there I've had nothing but first class service. His staff is amazing and very friendly. There method of contact is great. They text and call me for appointment reminders. When I was low on my medication I simply texted and got a response with in minutes. My visit with Dr. Patel was amazing he was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I felt like he is generally concerned for my health and my well-being. Mr Patel actually ordered tested none of my doctors have ordered which I felt was great. WARNING! This place could kill you! No joke... Not only is the receptionist condescending and inappropriate by asking what's wrong with you in the lobby in front of everyone, she request that you make your co-pay with cash... Seems Shady... But that's just the tip of the iceberg. I was there for Bronchitis and had to take chest C-Rays 3 times because the technician kept messing up... The doctor, Nicole Colon, then forgot to call in my medication to Walgreens... Fast forward 1 week... I'm still not better and thought I should go back. I got the same Doctor, Nicole Colon. She gave me a shot and sent in a script to Walgeens... All good, right!? NO!!! I am only allergic to 1 thing in this world; Codeine. They even ask everytime at the doc repeatedly which is annoying bc it seems like they can't read the chart... Nicole Colon prescribed me medication with Codeine which thankfully Walgreens caught and brought to my attention... The only thing I would recommend about this facility is the chiropractor who is awesome! Other than that... Proceed at your own risk! read more

Dr. Patel is the least caring doctors we met. When they first opened, he was polite and eager to see everyone to earn business. Now that the business is booming, he ignores everyone who does NOT make an official appointment. Moreover, when I hurt my lower back, I was misdiagnosed and prescribed wrong medicine that did NOTHING! I called and explained my situation. They charged me 150 for the visit when I was misdiagnosed by a nurse! The Doctor did not even decide to see me even thought I was in terrible pain! I called and asked them to fix this. They said I HAVE TO PAY 150 AGAIN even though it WAS their FAULT! A complete and utter disregard for people as people. No respect. No common courtesy. Please take a moment and read. Unfortunately this establishment has the most unprofessional staff, just awful!! I have been a patient at this establishment for about 5 years and today I realized how much I was NOT cared for, valued and respected. Two weeks ago I went to this office due to heavy coughs, I am not a smoker, thick mucus and fever. I was given prescriptions, by the nurse practitioner, for coughing, ONLY. 3 days later I went back due to no change to my condition and this time the nurse practitioner prescribed a weak antibiotics for seven days and now 2 weeks later not much has changed. I call the office and they recommended a chest X-Ray and when I went back they wanted to charge me for another visit. So 3 times in almost 2 weeks for the same sickness and they wanted to charge me for another office visit and refused to wave the fees. When I had an objection, the defensive staff did not hold back and advised me to go to another clinic if I did not like it. Suddenly there were 4 to 5 other nurses who were not even a part of the conversation I was having with the receptionist and all united, with complete unprofessional attitude started making uncalled comments."This is our clinic, if you don't like it you can go somewhere else" then the receptionist refunded the $70.00 I had paid as the office visit, yes I paid the fee, and told me the nurse practitioner was not going to see me and that I should go somewhere else. No doctor on the premises, no office manager, no one in charge to take over and stop the staff who had teamed up against your customer, your patient who your team should only focus on caring for, and healing their condition. Doctor Patel, it is too bad you were not there to see your staff's unacceptable behavior. If a patient comes to your office 3 times in 10 days for the same sickness, one that your providers have not been able to diagnose, it would not be a bad idea to wave the office visit fee!! Also in a situation like this your patients frustration should not be a surprise to your staff, and being defensive is NOT the way they should behave. It's nice to even have an after hours urgent care within the practice. I've finally found a doctor that treats me like a person instead of number and can address all my needs. I've been to see Dr Patel twice. The office is new, clean and exceedingly well maintained. New equipment, on-site labs and x-ray; it's just a very convenient location with some very nice folks. Both visits were set up with relatively short notice. I had an appointment at 6 pm - how many doctors do you know who work that late? And it wasn't to see a nurse practitioner, either - though I've had good experiences with some NPs as well. Bottom line - the prices are reasonable, the service well above average and the convenience is a 10/10. This is my doctor of choice, and I've recommended him to friends and family - and now to you. I went in for a routine physical. Everything seemed fine, the staff was nice at that point. Then I got a call a few days later that my tests were abnormal and that I needed to make an appointment to see what was going on. Well, the next appointment I could make was Tuesday, the call was made on a Thursday. I was beside myself, my mind went to the worst place possible, and to make it worse they called at the last possible moment on that day. I finally got them to agree to see me on the walk in clinic side, at a higher charge to get my results. Their on call service said they would be open so myself and another group oh about 8 people waited another 15 minutes. One of the worst experiences that I've had with a walk-in clinic and COVID-19 testing. My father is going through a chemo therapy and he is very sensitive to the cold weather. We stood outside from 10 am to almost 4 pm. Since the 2 lines were so big, we ended up taking the wrong line because we did not see the sign in the front of the building with it being so crowded. There wasn't any signs by either lines (at the end or middle) and nobody to inform us what each line was for. When we got to the door they removed us and made us wait over an hour to be seen again, while saying that we would be seen as soon as they put our information in the system. Because of my father's health situation, I was worried about him being in the cold weather along with so many people by us that could potentially be of a greater risk to him. When the nurse that we had previously talked to before came outside next to us, I asked if it was going to take a lot longer because my father has cancer and he is sensitive to the cold weather and he isn't physically well to be standing outside for long like he was. She screamed at me and said that if we had another rude outburst, that she would remove us from the property. Along with other comments she made. I have never been treated so badly by a health professional before. So anyone that is looking to go to walk-in clinic or to get tested for COVID-19, especially someone with a health problem, go somewhere else. Would not recommend to anyone who seeks to be an informed customer in their medical care. Medical care provided is not evidence based nor cost effective. I strongly encourage everyone to find a healthcare provider that you can trust and whom is up to date with current medical treatments and can explain the supporting evidence. Never allow a health care provider to perform a task, medical procedure, or administer medication just because a computer won't accept the information that has been placed. they over charge on a lot things(like there covid19 test they charge $250 where other places have it for $119 same test). I went in to get blood work done and told i should do STD test since i didn't have to pay any thing more. Then I got a bill in the mail from Quest for the STD. Also i had to have some extra paper work that needed to be done which they told i just need to fill out my part and they would finish it on there end and send it to me later. Then the next day they called me back saying they fill out the paper but that i need to pay a $50 paper fee (they love taxing there customers its theme here) They sent to me so I sent off the paper work to where it needed to go. Then come to find out 1 whole page was not filled out and the doctor never sign paper. This Doctor has really big stuck-up attitude problem since i asked her explain why LDL sticks to artery walls and she told me "it just does" then i told her "that only happens when you have oxidation in your blood i.e high vLDL" then she started to get mad and told me "thats what they told her to say" then she left the room. Why would anyone want a doctor thats a parrot that has no clue what she is talking about. the Doctors name is STEPHANIE ANTEPARA would recommend this place is very deceiving and very misleading just to make more money. read more

This review is entirely on Dr. Justin Napotnik, their chiropractor. There should be 10 stars because this doctor is phenomenal! I have had chiropractic care off and on for over 30 years and nobody has been as completely thorough and produced such amazing results as he does. Let me tell you what my biggest problem was - my feet! I had plantar fasciitis symptom from wearing slip resistant shoes. I was completely relieved of all symptom in just a few visits. I don't have insurance for chiropractic - I just pay a reasonable fee each visit - which is often the same as a copay. I needed to go a few times a week for a couple of months when I started with him, but it wasn't long before I didn't have to go often, at all. I still stop in for maintenance from time to time. That's the sign of an excellent doctor. read more

The biggest waste of our money EVER, we went in because my husband was feeling extremely sick, they tested him for strep throat and it was negative, (the girl that did the test was trying to teach some guy nurse how to do it but she didn't know how to do it herself) they were unable to test him for the flu because their test kit or equipment was not working....which is what we suspected that he had. The doctor said one thing the nurse practitioner said a complete different thing!!! They told us to go buy Afrin but he's nose wasn't stuffed up....Long story short we ended up leaving there and paid a $125 for nothing, no medicine, no test, no nothing!!! Shoving an iPad in my face to vote for him. (Can I meet the man first ?!?!). Disappointed in Dr. Patel who, during a recent physical, fixated more on a borderline EKG and completely overlooked the obvious signs (also my verbal report of) of bronchitis.
