The receptionist was very helpful and I managed to get seen by Mrs Precious the owner of the practice the next day. The practice is on Otley road and they have a car park around the back which is useful. I'm glad to say that my teeth were fine (few as it had been years since I last saw a dentist in London!). I've never been happy with my teeth (battered after rugby). I had a long chat with Mrs Precious about what I could do about my teeth and I opted for teeth whitening, two dental crowns and some nice veneers (My wife says she fancies me again!!) Because I joined Denplan I managed to get 10% off the cost of the work. Mrs Precious was very gentle and took her time with me which I liked as I was a bit nervous. I would thoroughly recommend this practice if you need a new dentist.

I once went to a dentist that was in a basement and I was truly terrified so the bright and clean dentists on street lane put me right at ease. The waiting area is comfortable, stylish and really tidy; there is also a bathroom that is so luxurious it should be in a beauty spa. I only had a routine check up and thankfully no nasty work was needed. The dentist was really sweet and suggested I start using sensitive toothpaste as gave me some samples to try. I have found practically all other dentist's scary; this one however is warm and friendly.

After a couple of weeks putting up with a mild (but getting worse) and occasional toothache i…read morephoned hoping for an appointment sometime in the next week. But i was told i could come at several times over the next few days or even this afternoon!!!!! So a couple of hours later my dentist and her nurse dealt with me thoroughly professionally by keeping me informed and ensuring that i was as comfortable and pain free as i could be throughout. After an examination my options were explained to me but it was made clear that they strongly advised me not to leave with my tooth in its present state and that they were prepared to stay beyond closing time to extract it. WOW! How professional is that!!!!!! Their only concern was my wellbeing. Sarah and Tracy you are not only very good at the technical aspects of your job but your customer focus and attitude is first class. Fantastic. Thanks PS really looking forward to being able to eat a pizza now without the face ache.

Mr Jon Swarbrigg was recommended to me as a practitioner with a very good reputation and equally good results. Mr Swarbrigg was extremely helpful and understanding of my concerns.? After my first consultation he explained what could be done and the results I could expect. He also provided me with before and after photographs of other patients who had previously been to him for treatments. He gave me the confidence to put my trust and teeth in his care.I saw Jon several times, firstly to take photographs and to prepare my teeth for the fitting of veneers. The results with the temporary veneers were astonishing. He was always very professional and made me feel at ease during the work.? When my permanent veneers were fitted I was thrilled with the results!? His attention to detail and commitment to gaining an aesthetically pleasing result is fantastic.? It far exceeded my expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending his practice. In fact my first recommendation was to my own mum.? She was looking to have some bridge work carried out and on seeing my results she happily attended his practice for the treatment. I have only just discovered this site, but my story is unforgettable and is still worth telling…read more Nearly 2 years ago, I visited Advance Dental Care as an NHS patient. My gums were bleeding profusely on a daily basis, and I could hardly chew even soft food. In addition, I had lost a filling. I desperately needed dental treatment. The waiting in the reception was horrendous. At lunchtime, the receptionists just disappeared leaving no one to see to the phone or to patients. The practice still used brown envelopes for patient records, and computers seemed to be used only for making appointments. It felt like they were 20-25 years behind in terms of technology.[The reception area was also very small and uninviting] As for the treatment, I was on the edge of my seat throughout. After treatment, I kept spitting lead bits for hours. And when the filling was done, it felt like it was sticking out sharp and uncomfortable [I had to use a fine file to smooth it out myself at home, clearly a botched up job!] The treatment was stretched over 6-7 visits (as far as I can remember), without a doubt totally unnecessarily. The dentist also kept forgetting that I was an NHS patient, repeatedly quoting prices for each part of the treatment for me. I kept apologising for being an NHS patient. I felt like crap, and was treated no better. The worst thing about it all is the dentist's verdict when she saw the X-rays. She advised that I should have 8 teeth out ! To cut the story short, after the shock, I sought a second opinion, and guess what? I did NOT have to lose a single tooth!! The dentist who saved my teeth (on NHS) gave my teeth a thorough cleaning, plus a 10day treatment of antibiotics. That's all it took. Now, 2 years on, my teeth are all sill there as healthy as they can be, and no gum bleeding whatsoever. That's my story. I stand by every word in it.

This is my favourite dentists - EVER!!…read more I may only be an NHS patient (GOD BLESS THE NHS) but I feel like I get private paying patient service. The Dental Spa itself is very clean, nicely furnished and I must admit I do enjoy the chandeliers! The staff are professional and thorough. I've been really impressed with the dentist that I've seen, especially as they don't try to make me buy floss! I trust them with my teeth; they don't mistreat them.
