I requested a quote online, and received a call from this company. She quoted me a price after I gave her the number of windows/doors needing cleaning and the scope of services needed. She quoted a price and I scheduled the cleaning. When the service provider arrived, he told me that the online/phone quote was not correct, and it would be $100 more than what I was quoted. He said the "real" price per window is not what the phone/online schedulers were quoting. This is a very poor way to do business - feels like a classic "bait and switch." They said they finished on Wednesday and that there were no more leaves and were done.My Gardner went to the roof on Thursday and found lots more leaves. They denied it and came back on Friday and removed a lot more leaves saying they all fell in one day.Really? The leaves stopped falling 3 weeks earlier so they were not truthful read more

Outstanding customer service. I called for an estimate to clean my gutters (I literally had plants growing in them) and they arrived exactly when they said they would. A very nice young lady walked the property and emailed me an estimate. The price was very reasonable and we accepted the quote. The team showed up the next day and completed the job, once they finished they gave me a breakdown of what was done and made sure I was happy with the work. Very professional. I have been using Window Gang for several years for my home. They service my home 2-3 times a year. Every other service they will do the inside of the windows in addition to the ouside. They are consistent in their approach to Window Cleaning and always mindful of my landscape lights and flowers when they are putting up their ladders. We have used Window Gang at least three times now for window cleaning and once for gutter cleaning. Came on time, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. Do not hire Window Gang to clean your windows for the following reasons: 1) After holding me hostage on the time period, they never showed up after indicating to me they would be t between the hours of 1&4pm. No one ever showed up to clean the window. I paid the company in full amount, however, they would not honor returning to clean the window they missed. After speaking with them on the phone, the window gang representative stated his crew chief did visit my home and took care of the problem. Now I'm feeling patronize! After waiting for them from 12:30pm until 3:46pm no one showed up and appeared to not believe what I am saying. So, I would think twice about hiring Window Gang to clean your windows. read more

One of our worst experiences we have ever had with any company. We had scheduled for Window Gang to clean our windows. We moved every piece of furniture in the rooms to prepare for their visit and make their job more convenient. On the day of the appointment, the company cancelled our appointment saying that they did not have enough people to do the job. We were very, very disappointed that no accommodation was offered to try to help us get this job done in a timely manner since they had cancelled the appointment with no notice for us to try to find someone else. We were counting on this service because relatives were coming in from out of town. The company was aware of the urgency of our request when the appointment was made. We were told that the earliest we could be put on the schedule would be several weeks away. We asked that they notify us when they could reschedule to ensure that we would be home at that time. Window Gang did not contact us for a future appointment. Never heard from them again until On January 26, we received a call from Window Gang office saying that they were calling about a bill for $125.00 that needed to be paid for not cancelling a scheduled service. This was the first time that we had spoken to them since they cancelled our appointment several weeks back. . This company has forced us to contact the Better Business Bureau to report unethical business practices. We hope other customers and other military families are not treated this way. read more

I received my first visit from the Window Gang as a gift from our realtor. It's been 2 years now and every session with Window Gang crews exceed my expectations. Their thoroughness and skill are top notch. And I love how well the crews communicate with me, to make sure that I'm well satisfied with the work that has been done. Also love the proactive reminder calls from Window Gang staff when it's time to schedule another cleaning session. We asked to have the exact same services performed on our two story house as we had performed under the previous owners of Window Gang. Boy had the service and professionalism changed since we last contracted this company. The foreman told me they were under new ownership. Must be why. In a nutshell, we needed windows cleaned inside and outside, screens hand washed, mirrored walls cleaned, front porch lamp cleaned. I planned on adding 2 coach lamps and another couple of mirrors. About 3/4 of the way through, I began inspecting the job. What I found horrified me! They had not brushed out the tracks of the windows, which I had been told was included, just as before. Instead, they left the pollen that had blown in from our 2 dozen oak trees, then cleaned the windows with their solution, which left a muddy mess in every single window track! When I went to alert the foreman, he was standing by his truck on the phone, while his partner worked. He came up to look at the mess, and ran around wiping things. The upstairs windows still are not complete. The window frames are still not wiped down, there is dirt on the window sills, and dirt in the tracks. I went downstairs to find my husband scraping the muddy goo wet pollen and dust becomes, out of the tracks. I asked why they didn't brush out the tracks when they took the screens out, and before they wet the windows. The foreman said they didn't have a brush for that, and besides, that service COSTS EXTRA! Well, who knew? I have never had a window cleaner tell me that nonsense before. Then there is the issue of lime residue. It wasn't bad, but it was there. In fact, we power washed before we called to have the windows cleaned, knowing they would take care of it. Well they didn't. In fact, the foreman didn't even seem to know how, and he "didn't come prepared to deal with that." What window washer in South Texas, the coleche (sp?) capital of the world, isn't prepared to deal with lime? He did mention another lady not liking that, and that she went out to the store and bought something for them to use. We offered them Kaboom, and were told, "No, once the windows get that way, they are pretty much that way for good." Whaat?! My husband had begun completely re-doing every single window on the bottom story, so I jumped in and helped him. We de-limed every window with our Kaboom, then re- cleaned them with Windex. As for the tracks, the muddy mess they had made it 3 times harder than simply brushing them out in the beginning, or using the small vacuum I offered to let them use. All in all, we worked several hours after they had left. They also skipped windows completely! One of the skipped windows was a greenhouse window, and when I pointed it out to the foreman, he complained about how "hard they were to clean" (It wasn't that dirty in the first place). He also complained about how hard our porch lamp was to clean, and guess what... HE DIDN'T. They skipped my leaded glass windows on and to the sides of my front door. As the project progressed, they used the same dirty water that was in their holster to moisten their mop tool, and even windows left for clean had streaks. They left drips everywhere. The foreman even made the comment that "the next time I buy windows, I should get the ones without dividers on the panes, as they are easier to clean"! It is not his place to tell me what windows to buy! Between the foreman's rude, complaining behavior, and the horrible job that was done in nearly every aspect of the job, I said I wanted to speak to the owner immediately. I tried calling the office, and the number on my caller ID that was used to alert us to the fact that they were on their way. No answer. I asked the foreman to get his boss on the phone, and was told since it was Saturday, the office was locked up. I asked him to call his cell phone, so I could talk to him. He refused. I asked if he would call his boss and ask him to call me later in the day. He assured me someone would call me that very day. It didn't happen. I called the office on Monday, and talked to the owner. I described this experience, sent her my notes, and a picture I had taken of a window track I was beginning to clean. She said she was very "unhappy" to see all that, and offered me a $100 discount, when I said I was not inclined to pay our $487 bill. I said it was not enough. She said since we had not left the mess for her to inspect, she couldn't verify my story. At the time, on Saturday, my husband and I just wanted to wrap up that nightmare that day, and not have it drag on for days. It is not as if I hadn't tried every way possible for them to get an inspector over that day, but was refused. I have spent 61 years of my life telling the truth, and did not appreciate my integrity being called into question. Additionally having been a homeowner for 30 years, I have hired many contractors, and never had such sloppy work, and complaining contractors doing a job. I suggest you steer clear! read more

I have used Window Gang for over 7 years, to clean my windows. They did an adequate job on that. I had the UNFORTUNATE and REGRETTABLE experience to hire them to clean my roof, hand wash my gutters and low pressure wash my house. They #1 destroyed most of my gutters, and #2 a lot of the foliage around the house including my koi pond in which the lily pads are now turning brown. ( i am hoping the fish dont die) They also left white dots on 2 sets of my outdoor dining furniture. They came back to try and fix some things, but I have contacted the owners several times and they have yet to come back and get the equipment they left here, and talk about what they are going to do to fix this. They never told me until i went outside the day they were working, that it was a solution of bleach. Over the phone they called it "a solution". I walked under it and got it on my shirt.
