If it were possible to give a company a negative rating, I would do so. I initially gave 2 stars but am editing it because it took the company 6 months to finally fix the issue. Let me say, the guys who are dispatched to make the repairs were never the problem. The managers are incompetent and lack communication skills. I emailed the top manager, Keith, twice and never received any response from him. He passed my problems to the installation manager, Ashley. I had windows installed at the end of May. There were some minor issues, so in July, a technician came out to fix them. One window was missing channel trim. It doesn't seem like that would be major but apparently it was. They came out 3 times with the wrong part. I was told it needed to be ordered but it never was. I was the one who ALWAYS reached out. They would've brought the wrong part AGAIN had I not corrected Ashley. It baffles me that this company is still in business. I do love my windows, but I would NEVER use this company again, nor would I ever recommend this company. It's just not worth it. read more

I paid for an entire house of new windows. The quality of the material installed is substandard. I paid for black window - the painted white windows were not properly painted. There is white showing on numerous windows. One screen does not fit, and another was torn. The installation was subpar. There are bulges in trim areas. The installer left caulking material that has stained. The workers did not speak English, and one could not use the electric tools properly. One worker ran repeatedly ran into window and doors with the vacuum. I requested this issue to be resolved, and I have been told parts and touch up pain are on order. The parts and paint will not arrive until September. Touch up paint? Very disappointed in the quality and service received. Buyer beware! read more

Everyone is very kind and friendly but it's taken over two months and counting for install. Difficult pill to swallow when we've been told the product has been in for atleast two weeks, just waiting for installer to be scheduled. I've called and emailed to try to get an update, but I'm struggling to get anyone to call or email back. Really a bummer as we were excited at the beginning of this, but as it drags out and communication slips away, we're becoming disheartened. If you're not in a hurry, you should be fine. If I knew then what I know now, I probably would have shopped around a bit more. I don't like leaving reviews like this, but maybe some truth will help them make adjustments down the line for future customers. read more

My wife and I have now placed 2 orders with Window World - Waco. The first time and nice salesperson came out, took the measurements and said it would be 6-8 weeks for the window to be made. 7 weeks later we got a call letting us know the window was in and scheduled the installation. The crew came out and discovered the window was not fitting correctly. We're not sure if the measurements were wrong or if the window was just made incorrectly. New measurements were taken and we were told that we were given "Expedite" status for our order. About 6 weeks later we got the call the new window was in. The installation crew was very nice, polite, clean, professional, and quick. Very happy with the installation crew. Now for the 2nd order: This time my wife and I placed an order for 6 windows to be replaced. The salesman came out. Took measurements. And told us that it would be 6-8 weeks for the windows to be made. This put us getting our windows the 2nd week of October. Okay. 7 Weeks went by and no phone call, no update, nothing. My wife contacted Window World to get an update on the status of our order. My wife was told that there was a delay regarding our order and our windows will not be ready till the last week of November. SAY WHAT?!?! No call to let us know there was going to be a delay. Let's recap Window World - Waco: Installation crew: Very nice, quick, clean, and professional Window World - Waco seems to have an issue and it's not with the installation crew. 1st order: Windows did not fit. This caused a delay. The problem was either with the Window World office, or the company they use to fabricate the windows. 2nd order: Window World office did not call us to let us know of the significant delay. Is the problem with the fabricating company? Is the problem with the Window World office? Or is the problem with both? Either way, there seems to be a significant problem with quality of service regarding Window World. Instead of 6-8 weeks, we're not looking at 12-16 weeks and a lack of customer service from Window World. The ONLY reason we have not cancelled the order (So far) is that if we went to another company, we'd still be looking at fabricating time to make our windows. But I am now looking for an excuse to cancel my current order with Window World and I am very doubtful I will use them again. From estimate to install took less than a month. The installer was very polite and professional. In fact, installer was able to eliminate some possible install expenses to save us money. Window world (of Waco) representative created multiples of our quote/order form (that we weren't aware of). They ordered the wrong color and will not make it right. I even had to walk the rep up to my other windows to show him we needed to order almond (not white). He held up the color swatch and admitted I was correct on the almond color. So he changed it to almond so that's what we thought we were ordering. Have copies of initial meeting that shows the correct color of almond on the form. The installers also left large shards of broken glass in our yard. We have kids and pets that play outside. I also work in the flower beds. Do not recommend using this business. We thought we were dealing with professionals. Apparently not. Very disappointed in the lack of initiative to help make it right. We have another house with 37 windows we are about to replace. Will not be using them on our next project or any future projects. read more

While the prices for a single window, which is all I want, was twice as high as I am willing to pay, this is definitely not Isaac's fault. I do not recommend Window World of Waco if you have an older home. We had a salesman come out and give us their pitch and a tentative schedule of when we should expect a response on how they would be able to replace our large picture windows and a couple of large windows that we have. Needless to say, we never received the call back and we had to continually leave messages for him to get back with us on what our options were to replace the larger windows, which we knew would be a challenge going in to this. Well today we finally track him and down and he tells us that Window World doesn't want to take on the project because it would/could involve construction to which they don't...they are a remove and replace company only. I am perfectly fine with this answer but I just wish they would've been honest and reputable enough to say they in the beginning instead of making this a game of Where's Waldo or in this case, Where's Window World. We also have standard size windows that we were considering having them replace but after this fiasco, I wouldn't let Window World touch ANYTHING in my house with a 10 foot pole! read more

We had Window World windows put in our home over 10 years ago. They have contributed significantly to reducing our energy costs. After about 8 years, 3 of them developed haze on them. I'd decided to replace them but decided to contact Window World first. They asked me to send pictures and I also sent the documentation of when we purchased and our guarantee. With no hassle, they cheerfully ordered the windows (one was a special order size) and when they came in, scheduled the installation. There was no charge. In addition,tThe installer also noticed I had some parts of the window mechanism broken and has ordered replacements for those. This process was pretty slow because I think they are having trouble with supply now like lots of companies, but I'm very pleased that they cheerfully kept their guarantee. We love our new windows. It was 28 degrees outside and the inside of our window glass and frame were only slightly cooler than the inside room temp. Some of our old windows would sweat in the winter, but because of the excellent insulation properties, these have not and our house is 130 years old and heated with propane. The crew which installed the windows did a very professional job and cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend this company. read more
