In the beginning, parking was not an issue, and neither was getting a spot in the only class that really interested us, which was a mix of cardio and weightlifting. Then the next-door pickleball place opened and parking instantly got harder, a trend that would continue. Later, they took a bunch of the treadmills away, and reconfigured our favorite class to reduce the amount of cardio and increase the amount of time wasted cleaning equipment and transitioning between stations. At some point they introduced having to pre-register for class, but you could only do so 1 hour before the start time. Then we started having to bring our phones to class, to show that we'd pre-registered. (I'd rather have left it in a locker.) That registration timing had some issues, so later they changed it to registering 3 days ahead of time. And you had to do it ASAP, or you couldn't get a spot. There was no wait-list/standby status, or notification if someone later dropped out. So, this year when they had the typical new-year's resolution surge, it got to where we missed several classes due to not being able to get a spot. At that point why are you paying $38 a month (including the $60 annual fee) for the "More" plan? There's no good answer. And it's a shame, because the instructors are great, and we liked just about every one that we ever had.

Truly awesome. If you aren't looking to pose for selfies, hangout, gossip with your friends in high school, and just want to get in shape and get out, this is your place. Be prepared to work and sweat. Not take selfies and stand around.

The facility itself is of course geared for 55+, but anyone 18+ can come in and use the facility. Staff is friendly and there are usually multiple people available to assist you. This can be a busy facility however at times so there may be a chance you do have to wait a little bit if you have a question regarding something. Coffee is free if you bring your own cup, if you need a cup there is just the small fee of $1 and you can buy a cup from the desk. So many wonderful events and opportunities that happen here. Definitely worth coming and checking it out

If you need to call regarding a question expect to be put on hold immediately and not addressed for 5-10 minutes. Upon entering the facility you'll be greeted by inpatient, unkind and distant staff. The staff are not trained in the majority of ongoings within city recreation, most staff rely upon their managers who they themselves are unhelpful. Speaking to a manager is a whole other issue as they're never available. The facility attendants are mostly helpful and attending to almost any issue/need you many have. The pool table area is okay however most cues, balls, etc are strewed about the area or just lost. In regards to the pool, look online before coming in because classes are scheduled and lanes may or may not be available. Speaking on the rental spaces available at the Senior Center there's nothing special or noteworthy to speak on. If you need to rent a space, don't expect a return call for 1-2 weeks. Those who come in the early morning for coffee, there is now a $1 charge for cups, so bring your own. With overall subpar staff and a underwhelming facility, I would recommend the Chilson Senior Center in Loveland.

The other members have been very nice, and super-polite. The locker room was clean, and the lockers were accessible and plentiful. Open 24 hours every day makes a workout here convenient and enjoyable!

I sent my youngest here to learn how to swim and she had an absolute blast. The instructor to…read morestudent ratio is very low, so our child received very personalized lessons every time! My kiddo went from not being able to swim at all to knowing how to rescue someone and being a total fish. The pool is always warm, even throughout the winter, so they can swim all season long. The instructors are all absolutely fantastic! If you have a little one who cannot swim, I definitely recommend this school. Also, buy the goggles. No joke, they keep them on and stop messing with them during class so they can spend more time swimming and less time fiddling with goggles.

Please be vigilant in watching your children while in Splash's swim classes. Two of our children…read morewere enrolled until recently during a class, our 3-year old's hands slipped off the wall and he submerged. He was not able to touch the bottom and the instructor, Ashley, did not notice. He was unable to get himself to the surface to breathe. My wife and I sprinted from the viewing area to the pool, and I pulled him from the water. This all happened without Ashley noticing the terrifying situation. The class was not stopped, the severity of what just occurred was not acknowledged. Ashely did not check on our son, ask how he was doing, or discuss this with us. Our son was only one of three children in the class when this happened. Days later, the owner, Amy agreed to speak with my wife over the phone. This step was not offered, we needed to request a phone call. There was not an apology or any expression of remorse or compassion. Amy stated safety measures were reviewed with Ashley, this was their complete response to the episode. In our communication with Amy, it was obvious we were just numbers to their operation, and we were easily replaceable with their long wait lists. Please carefully watch your child while in this pool. This was a traumatic event for everyone in our family.
