However, the second time she went back to try the dress on again, the experience was completely different. The staff did not seem friendly at all, and it felt like we were an inconvenience. We also did not receive the same level of attention or help that we received during the first visit. It was disappointing because we expected the same customer service throughout the process. On top of that, when she asked if her family could come see her try on the dress the day they were hemming it, she was told there would be an additional charge. That was very upsetting considering this is supposed to be a special experience. Overall, the customer service after the purchase did not match the experience we received in the beginning

I have to praise the amazing, personalized customer service I have received from this boutique! I feel as if I have my own personal stylist here, named Virginia!! However, all associates are top notch--- most of the employees know me on sight, know my size of clothing and footwear, and select combinations of couture and accessories for me that I wouldn't even have thought to put together. I appreciate the polite honesty with which I am treated by WHBM staff, who have said things like, " this doesn't look like much on the rack, but would flatter your bustline and minimize your hips." Sadly only three stars…read more Waning quality lingere, inefficient customer service, and disappointing store policies keep me from shopping too often at Victoria's Secret. There really isn't much choice in Texas for women's sexy underthings and stockings. So how disappointing that quality and customer service have declined! I have to check my purchases for seams, defects, etc. and to try on every piece as standard cuts and styles don't run consistently throughout the style (I.e. Not all Angels or Very Sexy bras fit the same!) Other VS stores offer to measure you and fit you for a bra. They have dressing rooms staffed with trained and helpful personnel to help you find the pieces and sizes you need. This seems like a foreign concept in the CC, TX store. I have been maybe 4-5 times and always had to look for someone to let me in --I've never been checked on, nobody has offered to measure or get a different size. It's confounding. The counter has one or two cashiers who seem to struggle with transactions yet the store has plenty of associates wandering the floors---just not at the register or dressing rooms. I hope that the management considers changing the way the store is staffed and trained, as I would love to have the option of shopping here more often!!

***old person disclaimer…read more While I am probably not in Hot Topic's target demographic, they have the odd costume bit and geek paraphernalia on my list from time to time. That said, I'm reminded of my age as soon as I darken the door--- when did all the t-shirts from concerts I went to in college suddenly become "vintage" and "oldies"? Just walking into HT is an adventure from which one may never return. The store is literally a warren of wall to wall merchandise, piled high from floor to ceiling. Nothing is particularly merchandised--all is just kind of piled into unusual aggregates. ;-) I wonder if a teetering mound of Harley Quinn socks and Harry Potter Hogwarts House scarves fell on me, how many days would it take until someone noticed. (Relax HT staff members, this is a rhetorical question; no calculations required). Despite the challenging customer service and layout, you should screw your courage to the sticking point (and pack along some patience in your kit bag) and brave the adventure! If you have to purchase a gift for a young child or angst-filled teenager in your life, you're sure to find something here they'll love. That's what keeps me coming round.
