I paid him the full amount and trusted Edwin that the 2nd pillow would be ready in a few weeks. That was August 5th. since then Edwin promises the pillow shortly, soon, in 2 weeks, etc. I even went to his store on that day he said the pillow would be ready but the pillow is not done. now he ignores my calls and texts. I write this after 4 months of waiting. my recommendation is hold back money on his jobs until everything is complete.

Solicited us after hurricane Sandy - gave us an estimate - was not the lowest but the…read morehired gun they sent (roofer from Nebraska) knew what he was talking about.. claimed to be a local guy who would be here every step of the way - Promised Mid March start (they came and got their 50% deposit in Feb).. did not start until Mid April - almost knocked our building down when they overloaded the roof with material.. Mr. Kling told us - well you got a "cheap price"- we did not negotiate him down from his estimate.. he then promised to fix the broken sheet rock in the rooms effected by roof collapse - "will send my best guy" tomorrow - we fixed our selves when they did not show up for a week. They subbed it out to a crew that does not speak English - they are underpaying them.. so they do not show up and they do low quality work when they are here.. 4 day job - we are now on week 2.. what a mess. They are driving nails through the new roof instead of using brackets.. so far half the work is done - and will be a patched up "new roof" at best when they finish.. lesson? never trust a guy who uses his dog in his ad and tells you that you have his "word"..

We decided to use National for our downstairs bathroom and once again they did a fantastic job. They were right on time and finished ahead of schedule. The best part of doing the bathroom is the workmanship. We can't believe its the same bathroom. The quality of the work combined with timing has made me realize I have found a great company for a long time! We would definitely use National again.

I called Rick at Peace of Mind Construction because water was leaking from the pipe coming from the release valve for my boiler. Another contractor I have used was on vacation and he advised me to call Rick. I sent Rick pictures and a video of the boiler and the valve. I had also called another plumber in the Asbury Park area to get a quote for a release valve replacement . This plumber told me he couldn't come for another two days and without further inspection, he couldn't know if that was the source of the problem. If it is only a replacement valve, it would should cost around $200.00 to replace the valve. Rick came to my house on Feb 21 and replaced the release valve. He checked nothing else, and it took him very little time. He charged me $350.80 to do this. Two days later, water was still coming from the same pipe. I called Rick back to tell him that the problem still existed. He refused to return , saying that it wasn't his problem and that I should call the man who first referred me to him. I pointed out that I had paid " Peace of Mind Construction", to fix the problem,not anyone else. But Rick still refused to return to see what needed to be done to stop the leaking. I finally did have to call another plumber, who said that Rick failed to check the source of the problem. The problem went further than the release valve. I paid this plumber for the work that solved the problem. I wrote an email to Rick, explaining that I had to pay another plumber to do the work I asked Rick to do. I asked him to please give me back some of the money I had given him because he had not fixed the problem I paid him for , and he had refused to return to fix the problem. He never answered my email. Needless to say, no one would want this unprofessional, irresponsible kind of service.
